The cab dropped me promptly at 8:30 am in front of the Gallagher building in downtown Minneapolis. I was in town to oversee an extensive upgrade of Gallagher's ERP software. The schedule called for eight weeks to install and test the new software, together with training staff on the many new features that would be available. I knew, however, that the schedule would likely run anywhere from eight to twelve weeks, depending on the roadblocks we encountered along the way.
I rubbed my face, still tired from the previous night's travel. as usual, my flight had been delayed, and it was well after midnight when I finally checked into the hotel. Despite my exhaustion, it took a while to fall asleep.
This morning, the sky was blue, and although the temperature was a little cool, the day promised to deliver pleasant summer weather.Lucky for me, we're not doing this in winter, I thought, pausing for a moment to take in my surroundings before entering the imposing building.
"Hi, I'm Steve Allen of ERP Solutions. I'm here to see Andrea Moore," I said to the pretty blonde behind the reception desk. ""
"One moment, Mr. Allen, and I'll give her a call," she responded, flashing me a bright smile.
I quickly scanned the forest of green succulent plants that populated the atrium, giving it a light, airy feel as she spoke quietly into her headset. "Ms. Moore will be right down. Please have a seat."
I settled into a comfortable white armchair, pulled out my phone, and checked my mail.Only eight thirty and I'm already swamped,I muttered, tapping out a response to my boss.
Minutes later, I heard the telltale click-clack of heels on marble. A pretty, short-haired woman in a blue silk blouse and tight black skirt headed straight toward me. She was of medium height, slender and trim, and as she approached, my eyes were drawn to her piercing blue gaze.
I smiled warmly as she offered me an elegantly manicured hand.
"Hi, I'm Andrea Moore," she said, "Nice to meet you at last."
"Steve Allen," I replied, shaking her hand, "nice to meet you too."
No way, it can't be, this is totally crazy,I thought to myself as I took in the reality of the woman in front of me. I wanted to believe that my eyes were fooling me, but I knew they weren't! This was Andrea, John's wife!
Let me explain. I travel a lot on business and often find myself logging in toLiteroticafor some hot, sexy chat. I mean, what else are you going to do when you are divorced and spend weeks on end away from home? It's not like I'm in a position to develop or maintain a relationship with a woman, and, quite honestly, the lack of regular sex sucks big time. Anyway, a while ago, I got chatting with a guy in the 'Fuck my Wife' room (one of my favorite rooms). The guy, whose name is John but who goes by the ID of NGJack on Lit,not only likes to share pics of his sexy wife, but also likes to chat about what other men might do with her. Over time, he and I have become good friends, and it's fair to say that we have shared increasingly intimate conversations about his wife. He'd even gone so far as sharing some pictures of him and her together on vacation.
So yes, if my eyes weren't deceiving me, the Andrea Moore presently standing in front of me was John's wife!
"This way, Steve, we're on the fifth floor. I have a conference room booked for us, and then I can show you your temporary office," Andrea said, turning and heading towards the elevators.
We made the usual small talk in the elevator: how my flight had been, the weather for the coming week, and how nice the office was. My mind, however, was all over the place as I worked through the surprise of Andrea Moore being someone with whom I was already acquainted. How could I work with a woman that I've seen in so many intimate poses? Should I tell John that I was working for his wife, especially having told him that I'd love to have an affair with her? Dear God, what was I going to do!
The rest of the day passed in a blizzard of meetings and presentations regarding the work that we had ahead of us, and it was well past six before I closed my laptop and headed back to the hotel. I immediately logged on toLitto check if John might be around. As usual, I found him in the "Fuck My Wife" room, and after a few moments of chatting, I broke the news to him about Andrea.
Letshavefun:So I did tell you that I am working in Minneapolis for the next few months. Right?
NGJack: No. Are you kidding?
Letshavefun: Nope. Doing some work for a company called Gallagher. Their office is downtown.
NGJack: Yeah, I know their building.
Letshavefun: Lol, you should! Because it appears that I'm going to be working for your wife!
NGJack: No way! You are yanking my chain!
Letshavefun: Ha, not fucking kidding, man! Looking at her business card right now.
Andrea Moore, Principal IT Project Manager
NGJack: Oh fuck! That is totally crazy! You are working for Andrea!
Letshavefun: Yeah, and I have to tell you, she was looking hot today.
NGJack: Lol, yeah. She was, wasn't she!
Our conversation continued, and I reminded John that he had previously told me that he would have no problem with me fucking his wife. In fact, he had downright encouraged it.
Letshavefun:So, are you still OK with me figuring out how to get Andrea into my bed?
NGJack: Sure, that would be hot. I want you to fuck the bitch!
With that green light, I made up my mind that I would have Andrea in my bed before my assignment was complete. I figured I had a fair chance of success since John had previously confided in me that he was pretty sure that Andrea had previously had a number of affairs, including one with her ex-boss.
The next morning, I dropped by Andrea's office, coffee in hand, as soon as I arrived. Once again, she was looking hot, this time in a white skirt paired with a bright red silk blouse. I smiled as I stood against the wall of her office, watching her idly dangle a red heel from her toes.
"Did I miss the memo?" I said quietly before sipping on my coffee.
She looked at me quizzically. "What memo?"
"Well, I'm assuming from the impressive way you are dressed that we must have a big meeting with the higher-ups today. Or do you always come to the office looking so great?"
She laughed and arched her eyebrows, "Steve! Do you always flirt with your co-workers first thing in the morning? No meeting, just felt like I wanted to have a little 'wow' factor today."
"Well, you were successful! Overachieved, in fact!"
"Thank you," Andrea responded, a light blush appearing on her cheeks.
"You're going to have a constant stream of visitors checking you out today! Okay, I'm off to get started on my 'to-do' list. Give me a call if you need anything from me."
The day passed quickly, and I didn't see Andrea again until lunchtime the next day. She had scheduled lunch on Wednesday for our weekly catch-up on issues and progress. We ate at a little French bistro located just down the street from the office, and while we mostly focused on plans for the coming week, I didn't miss the opportunity to get to know her a little better on a personal level. I already knew a lot about her likes and dislikes from my conversations with John, which gave me some insight into how I might engage her.
"So I'm a runner in whatever spare time I have, Andrea. Are there any good lunchtime routes around the office?"
"You run?" She looked at me appraisingly. "Makes sense, you have a pretty athletic physique, so I guessed you must work out. I run too! Usually, across the bridge onto the island and do a loop. It's about 5k, so it takes about half an hour. Perfect for a lunchtime run. You're welcome to join me if you like."
"Sounds good. What days do you run?" I replied while thinking about just how much I'd enjoy running behind Andrea.
"Usually Tuesday and Thursday if I can. I try to keep lunch free on those days, but it doesn't always happen. There's nothing on the calendar for tomorrow, so you are in luck if you're up for the challenge."
"Perfect, just let me know what time and I'll meet you in the lobby."
Turns out that we were a good match for each other running-wise, as Andrea's pace pretty much aligned with mine, and after that first run, we became regular running partners. For me, our runs were the ideal opportunity to get to know Andrea outside of the office. It was through our running conversations that I came to understand that, while Andrea projected a cool, competent businesswoman persona at the office, she was, in actuality, a fun, engaging, and most definitely, flirty woman outside of that setting.
Accordingly, while I didn't see Andrea every day whenever we were together for meetings or presentations, I'd make a point of casually complimenting her hair or the outfit that she was wearing that day. She always seemed receptive to my compliments, offering me a 'thank you' or responding with a bright smile.
Simultaneously to my pursuit of Andrea, I was keeping up my conversations with John. He was always eager to hear how my relationship with her was developing, and it was, I have to admit, fascinating and hot that he wanted me to fuck his wife so badly.
We were about a month into the work when I received an email from Gordon Whitaker, who runs our business development team. Turns out that he was planning a seminar to highlight the benefits of upgrading to the latest version of the software, and Andrea had agreed to give a talk about the commercial benefits that Gallagher envisaged the upgrade delivering. Gordon asked if I'd give a presentation covering the technical requirements associated with the upgrade. Of course, that was a no-brainer for me. A couple of days in an upscale hotel in New Orleans with Andrea seemed like the perfect opportunity to take things further with her.
"I hear we're going to be in New Orleans together," I said over lunch the following Wednesday.
"Oh, you're going to be there too?" she replied, eyebrows raised. "Gordon didn't mention that you would be there."
"Well, he asked if I'd give a presentation that complements yours. From what I hear, they're planning on all-day presentations on Friday, followed by a drinks reception and dinner in the evening. And if I know Gordon, I'm sure he has some golf planned for Saturday. It should be a good couple of days. I've participated in a few of these seminars, and they always go overboard with the food and the wine! I'm going to fly down there on Thursday evening and maybe back here on Sunday. No offense, but a Saturday night in New Orleans trumps a Saturday in Minneapolis!. You should do the same, Gordon will happily cover the Saturday night for you.
Andrea looked at me, smiling. "I'll think about that," she said with a smile, "New Orleans is one of my favorite places."
I found John online at Lit that night and filled him in on the plans.
Letshavefun: So it seems like Andrea and I are going to be spending some time together in New Orleans. Has she told you yet?
NGJack: No, she hasn't, but that isn't unusual. She usually doesn't tell me about her travel till a couple of days beforehand. What are you guys doing there?
Letshavefun: Giving some presentations on the software upgrade that we're implementing. Nothing exciting, though there will be lots of good food and drink.
NGJack: Oh, Andrea will love that. She's pretty social once you get a few drinks in her. Sounds like an ideal opportunity for you to fuck her! She turns into a horny bitch once she has had a few gin and tonics!
Letshavefun: Yeah, I was thinking that too. And thanks for the intel on the G&Ts, I'm sure I can put that to good use!
NGJack: No worries, you already know I want you to dip your dick in her. All I ask is that you give me all the details afterward. You'll love her tight little pussy!
Letshavefun: You're a pervert, John! But as a good friend, I'll do my best to give her what she needs!
NGJack: Ha, I know I am! Good luck with Andrea!.
Our schedules in the week leading up to the seminar were hectic, and as a result, Andrea and I skipped our normal lunchtime meeting on Wednesday. However, we did agree to meet in the Delta lounge before the flight. I arrived just after four, and Andrea arrived a few minutes later, looking a little stressed and harried. Compared to her normal office dress, she was dressed casually in jeans, a sleeveless, patterned top, and blue heels.
"What can I get you to drink, Andrea?" I asked as she took the seat next to me.
"God, do I need one! The traffic was horrific getting here. I'll have a gin and tonic, please."
"Coming right up, ma'am!"
I was back from the bar in no time, and Andrea flashed me a smile as she took the glass from my hand. "I've been looking forward to these few days in New Orleans. Some time to kick back and relax a little at last!"
"How's your golf game?" I asked, reminding her that we were scheduled to play golf on Saturday morning in the informal tournament that Gordon had organized.
She laughed. "About as good as my ability to complete the upgrade of the ERP system. That's why you are on the team!"
"Upgrade of the ERP system, I can do. Help us win the golf tournament, that's way less likely. But I'm sure we'll enjoy the course. Gordon claims it's one of the best around New Orleans."
"Should have brought my niece, Ashlyn. She plays golf on her college team. Has an amazing swing, never misses a green as far as I can tell. And she looks way better in a short skirt than I do!"
"Then she must be a twelve in the looks department because you're already a ten to my mind! You're going to look great on the course, Andrea."
"Stop it, Steve! You know what I mean! My days of being twenty and turning heads are long past."
I laughed, "Oh, I think you'd be surprised," I said, giving her an appreciative smile.
Gordon had booked us into the Hotel Montelone, a somewhat charming and historic hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Our flights went smoothly, and we were checked in just after eight-thirty.
"How about a drink in the Carousel Bar, Andrea? It's kind of iconic, it actually spins around, one rotation every fifteen minutes."
Andrea looked at me, checking if I was kidding. "No way? Are you serious?"
"Yeah, it really does. It'll be busy, but it's one of those things you have to do when you're in New Orleans. I'll meet you there in fifteen minutes. Does that work?"
As advertised, the space was busy, and we weren't able to snag a seat at the revolving carousel. However, we found a large leather sofa in a quiet, out-of-the-way spot that gave us some space to talk. Andrea ordered a lemon drop martini while I enjoyed a classic Old Fashioned. Andrea was relaxed and very at home, sitting close and talking intimately about her life outside of the office. She revealed that she's very close to her sister and niece, never having had children of her own, and asked about my personal life. As our conversation grew more intimate, I opened up about how difficult it is to maintain a relationship when you are on the road for a large part of the year.
"Relationships are hard, Steve. Keeping things fresh and fun isn't easy. I know that all too well." She reached out and laid her hand on mine. "John and I have been struggling with that for the past few years."
I sensed that Andrea wanted to say, or do more, however I think we were both feeling reticent to step across the work versus personal line. If things went wrong, it's possible that it could be catastrophic for both our careers. Instead, Andrea took the easy way out.
"Maybe we should head to bed. Big day tomorrow."
Gordon had done a great job of drumming up clients for the seminar, and I estimated that there were between fifty and sixty individuals in attendance when he kicked off the afternoon session. I went first, followed by Andrea, and, as far as I could tell, our presentations were well received. During the break, Gordon found Andrea and me talking about our presentations.
"Thanks, guys, both of you were awesome! Andrea, your breakdown of the financial benefits of upgrading was compelling and exactly what we wanted to get out there. And Steve, your description of the technical issues complemented Andrea's presentation perfectly. I owe you both a drink later."
I smiled, "I'll hold you to that, Gordon! Andrea drinks gin and tonic, by the way."
"Bombay Sapphire, please," she chipped in with a bright smile.
Gordon laughed. "Drinks reception at six, followed by dinner at seven. I'll see you there!"
I found John on Lit just before heading down to the reception.
Letshavefun: Presentations went well this afternoon. And your wife looked hot as hell, John.
NGJack: Good to hear on both counts. What was she wearing?
Letshavefun: Hard to describe, but it was this V-neck blue dress cinched at her waist with a gold belt. She looked awesome. Honestly, I'd be surprised if anyone actually took in the details of her talk. They were all too focused on looking at your wife!
NGJack: Ha! I'll need to check that out when she gets back.
Letshavefun: Anyway, I'm off to grab drinks and dinner with her. I'm hoping tonight's the night, so wish me luck!
NGJack: Have fun with her, man! And let me know how it goes!
I was once again sipping a very fine Old Fashioned when Andrea arrived just after six that evening. She looked awesome, dressed in a mustard shift dress that fell mid-thigh, complemented by a pair of strappy nude heels. Her outfit was perfectly finished with a heavy silver and onyx necklace. I watched as more than a few heads turned as she strode across the room.
"I see you dressed to impress tonight as well, Andrea. You look great!" I said as she approached.
"Thanks, Steve. It's always nice to dress up a little when you have an opportunity like this!"
"Andrea, wow, looking great!" Gordon gushed as he handed her a glass of what, I presumed, was Bombay Sapphire and tonic. "Really appreciate you helping us out with your presentation. Here's to a great evening!" he said, raising his own glass.
"Cheers!" Andrea responded. "I'm happy to do it. Thanks for inviting me."
There was little talk of business; instead, the three of us talked and laughed about the quality, or lack thereof, of our golf game. As I already knew, courtesy of John, Andrea is a very social individual, and we had no problem keeping the conversation flowing when Gordon wandered off to socialize with clients.
The drinks reception turned into a memorable and somewhat boozy dinner. Andrea was transformed, her normal 'all-business' persona had, it seemed, been left in Minneapolis, replaced by her fun, flirty sister!. She sat between Gordon and me, laughing as we recounted some of our crazier stories from previous seminars.
"Do you remember the guy from Aiken Industries, Steve? What was his name? Peter...Peter Green, that's it."
"Oh yeah, I had forgotten about him. Cracked the glass tabletop on the bar with his beer bottle, right? Then, a maid found him passed out in a linen closet!" I laughed. "Those were good days! Of course, we're much more respectable nowadays, Andrea."
She looked around the table at the wineglasses and empty bottles. 'Yeah, I can see that," she responded with a rueful smile.
As the dinner began to wind down and folks headed through to the bar, Andrea checked her watch. I quickly suggested one last drink, and the two of us took our drinks to the terrace overlooking the narrow streets of the French Quarter. It was a warm, balmy evening, and it felt good to be talking intimately with a beautiful woman like Andrea. We were both aware of the chemistry that had been building between us the past couple of weeks, and we stood close, almost touching, as we talked. I was hyperaware of her presence; the scent she was wearing saw to that. Butterflies were taking flight in my stomach as I worked up the confidence to put my arms around her.
