Becks Ch. 01 - I Get My Bike

All characters in this series are 18 or older. Both people and places are fictional or fictionalized, so do not expect places to appear as they may here. This is a series set in my "Pix 'n Bits" storyverse, and thus has elements of science fiction and urban fantasy in it. While there are destinations, like much of my writing this is more about the journey. I hope you enjoy it.

Becks 01 I get my Bike!

It was now Xmas break and I had the next week plus off from school. It was Sunday, Xmas Eve and we were celebrating my birthday tonight. It had been last Tuesday but with school (me) and work (mom) we decided to have my party on the weekend. And waited for tonight so Uncle Louis could be here too.

That would be Louis Geffen, a coworker and longtime friend of my mom's. Also the only adult male role model I ever had around. Because no dad, me. No, mom is not a virgin! Ha HA! Long story, may tell ya someday. While I never had a dad around, Louis decided when I was still tiny that he was my uncle and would watch over me. And has, too. Always there at my birthdays, and any big events.

Graduation from sixth grade, dance recitals, he even showed up when I was in the school play! Bad as I was! Louis has been family my whole life, at least the parts I remember. And Mom has always been mom. Working a lot but always available if I need her. Ready to talk or just hold me. And she understands that I like being naked and has allowed me to be that way at home my whole life!

Which Uncle Louis knows and does not mind. He even tells me I am very pretty and have a nice bum. Probably his favorite part because Uncle likes other boys, not girls like me! Ha ha! He does compliment me a lot, which mom tells me is good for my self esteem, adding that he does mean it too.

I have learned in my psych classes that women get a lot of their self esteem from their dad or a male role model. I guess I have been lucky to have one who is both kind and consistent! I do love uncle Louis like he was actual family and even told him he was now. He looked a little surprised but happy when Mom agreed and said aside from me he was her favorite relative!

We finished supper and mom brought out a cake with 18 candles! I blew them out in one go and mom said to not tell my wish, because it won't come true. I took their hands in mine and said my wish already came true and immediately got hugged from both sides. Mom cut the cake and reached behind herself for a couple of small packages.

Uncle Louis reached into his jacket and drew out a long slim package in elegant paper and laid it next to my plate. Mom looked and handed me a slim envelope. As I opened it she said she wanted something for this week, but this was all she could find and she hoped it was alright. Inside was a card saying Happy Birthday and two tickets to see Heart at the end of January!

Had to get up and hug mom for that! We both love Heart a lot. She handed me the other thin one and said we can go together this week. It had a pair of tickets for the premiere of Superman at Sack 57! We both like comic movies and had both been waiting for this one, so it was great. I thanked mom again and she said I have more but it was Louis' turn.

He tapped the flat package next to my plate and smiled so I opened it. Under that was a flat box that looked like jewelry. I opened that and it still looked like jewelry! Some kind of necklace that sort of fit flat against my collarbone. Like a choker, but lower and lying flat. All gold and silver rays with stones that looked like diamonds and emeralds. Which went with my green eyes so well!

Uncle Louis told me the gems were all lab grown, so even the diamonds were not bloody, just pretty like me! I chuckled and gave him a hug. He looked at me, then mom and said he won't be here tomorrow so he brought my Xmas gift tonight too, and it kind of goes with my birthday prezzie.

Mom smiled and said he better give it to me tonight then and we can have Xmas a little bit early! He picked up his briefcase and said "Sorry, not wrapped!" as he opened it.

And handed me a pair of golden Wonder Woman bracers! Which I thought were cool enough and started to put right on too! Slowed down when he coughed to get my attention and I looked at him.

"Becks, these are the very latest prototype of my shield device. No strings, but please do not tell anyone they are the full military model! And if you would, send me an email with your observations on them too, please. They will protect you from weather to about -22 F. And also will protect you from most harm, such as falling off a bike, down the steps etc. Won't stop a bullet yet, but will slow it enough to make it non lethal most times too. Probably not a problem for you, sweetie!" and he gave me a hug and said to put them on.

Which I did, being pretty excited. And he picked up a decorative cane mom keeps around and swung it at me hard! Mom yelped, I flinched and as the cane broke uncle Louis landed on his rump a few feet away! Sat there and said "Ow!" then explained that was to show us both how well the shield protects me.

Smiled and said if I had a motorbike I could ride it bare naked and not get hurt! And I loved hearing that part! Especially when Mom spoke up next.

"Louis, isn't your pet Senator working on a bill in the state house to make nudity legal in Massachusetts?"

I shivered thinking about how great that would be! To be able to go outside the house and stay naked all day long! And turned to him hopefully.

Louis said "It may be a year or more but he is working on it. And meanwhile our Becks can see her advisor Dr Taft and apply to be part of her study. Anyone in that can be nude anywhere in the state and gets a special ID stating that too."

I asked why he never told me about that before and he grinned.

"Probably the same reason your advisor didn't, Becky. You have to be 18 to apply. And now you are!"

I hugged him and then hugged mom too. It was like getting so many wishes all at once! Mom even said that maybe I can call Dr Sue and find out ahead of time or even drive down to school to see her. I said I need to get my car looked at first, it needs an oil change and was running rough again.

Mom said that was true but maybe I can make it work somehow. And I should go outside to see how the shield works because it is just about freezing out! Louis said I should wear the necklace too, because aside from adding to my own beauty (mom went "Awww") it also adds to the shield's basic performance!

So it was Xmas Eve and mom and my uncle are telling me to go outdoors bare naked! Does my birthday get better? Could it even? They both grab coats and we walk out to see a light snow falling. The kind that is just pretty and doesn't pile up or cause problems. This close to the harbor we see that all winter.

We get outside and I feel like I am inside by the fire place! Which I tell them both as I thank Louis again. This is amazing and I am also barefoot! And my toes are warm! I have pretty feet too! Yep, they are. Only size 8, small for a gal who stands 6' 2" barefoot. I use a pumice stone religiously (yes, I pray and whine every time) and they are clear and straight. I have a male friend who tells me regularly that if he had a foot fetish he would be at my house all day long. I think he is developing one! Ha HA!

FYI, the rest of me is not too shabby either! I am 40 B, 26, 38. Very long legs obviously and a curvy bottom too. One of my girlfriends insists my nose was "done" even though she has known me since 3rd grade! Another just says my nose is what women pay a doctor to make for them. I have long dark brown hair with a reddish streak here and there. I usually wear it in a braid that looks like a hawser. Yep, it's thick too.

Mom smiles to see I am comfortable and tells Louis his shield does a good job. He smiles and says of course it does! I smile and hold the laugh in. Mom says if I have a minute she wants to show me something in the garage since we are out here anyway. I am having new feelings being out next to the street totally naked and smile saying sure!

I follow mom who uses the side door and flips the light on. Then she says "Happy Xmas, sweetie!" and hugs me. Over her shoulder I see a brand new Honda CB 750F Super Sport. Shiny black, red and chrome! This is the bike of my dreams! Mom lets go so I can inspect the bike and tells me to sit on it so she can take pictures too! Yes, she left the Pentax out here to cool so it won't fog up! Mom is a planner! Must be where I get that from.

Takes several photos and tells me if I can get into Dr Sue's "club" she wants to take more of me out on the street too! Maybe downtown near the tea room! I tell her she just became the most cool mom in forever and she smiled right back. I get off the bike for the moment (reluctantly) and we leave the garage to go back inside th house. Just in time for a group of carolers from the Methodist church up the street to walk up the driveway and sing Xmas songs to us!

I know most of them too, and I am stark naked! And no one seems to mind at all! So we all stand there in the driveway. After all the carolers are blocking me off from the street and they either have not noticed (unlikely!) or are totally OK with me being nakey! They sang three more carols and mom offered them some cocoa and they said they need to keep going but this was fun! And two women I know winked at me too!

Woo hoo! I was naked outside, got caught and they liked it! Best Xmas ever! Plus all the stuff too! They left, we waved and went back inside. I went last. Because I was already warm. Also maybe someone else would see my butt! Ha ha!

Back in the house mom said she had the week off and we can go shoe shopping. Because I need Wonder Woman sandals to go with the bracers! Best mom ever! We had some cocoa, and Uncle Louis left but said he will see us later this week. And reminded me to talk to Sue.

After he left mom admitted she asked the carolers to show up at that time, because she was pretty much certain I would like having carols sung while I was naked! I hugged her AND kissed her for that! Also told her she was the best mom in all of history now!

Then we made a holiday indulgence, Kahlua in hot cocoa! Yep, alcoholic hot mocha! Was so good by the toasty fire we had another and went to bed with sugarplums dancing in our heads! Neither of us drinks much or often so two each was plenty. Slept great and still woke early on Xmas morning! I went down and made coffee and brought mom a cup in bed. Then asked if she wanted breakfast or prezzies first? She used to ask me that and like me she lit up and said "Prezzies!"

I went and started a fire in the living room while she got herself together and came down. I had my bracers so I was fully dressed! Ha ha! Mom stopped to top off her cup and then sat by the tree with me. We took turns handing each other presents. Nothing big, that happened last night. Mostly small, thoughtful or fun things we bought for each other.

Mom said again that I looked so good in the bracers I need to get the Wonder Woman sandals too. We made plans to shop in a day or two and she said I should call Sue. If she was in the office she will answer and if not I am not bothering her, right?

Made sense so I called. Left Sue a message telling her why I called and leaving my number. Then mom smiled and said I don't have to do this but she has three friends coming for brunch and I can be naked if I want to. Of course I said I wanted! And two women and a guy became two lesbians and a straight couple! So I had three out of four checking me out as I served the food and coffee to all! That was great fun for me.

My second time naked in front of people who were not family too, counting last night! I was liking it a lot! And the wife of the couple was not jealous and even seemed to encourage her husband to look! Asked him what he thought of my bum even! (Spoiler, he liked it!) Woo hoo! After they left I gave mom a huge hug and kissed her too!

She asked what that was for and I said for being such a great mom. She smiled and said maybe she gets her thrills from people looking at her daughter's bare ass! I laughed and said that would be so perfect! We laughed for several minutes I think. Mom said with everything closed we can stay home so I can be nakey all day.

Adding that if I want, we can have friends stop by too! So I can show off my motorcycle and my bum too! I think that is genius, so we both call people we know, and shortly after lunchtime people begin to drop in. Most are not surprised, because they know me. While most of my friends have not seen me naked they do know I like being this way. One of my old friends had a male cousin visiting, brought him and he was very surprised! Looked happy enough too!

And mom invited a couple and two different guys to drop by and did not tell them at all! That was large fun for me because I was the official door person for the week! If I had worried about not being attractive (and I didn't, I have friends and a mirror!) I would have been fine after that afternoon! Yes, people who like nude women at all enjoy seeing me. Some quite a lot!

My friend's cousin seemed to have trouble walking when they finally left, making mom giggle with me afterward! And around suppertime the phone rang. Mom called me over and said it sounded like Dr Sue! I picked up and it was. She told me she had saved me a spot hoping I would ask once I turned 18 and if I want, she will be in the office tomorrow so I can get my ID and be able to be nude anywhere in the state!

Mom was close enough to hear most of it and told me to ask if I can ride down there naked on my new bike! Sue heard her and laughed, saying that if I got pulled over to phone in and she will take care of it! And I can use the second spot at her building, next to her blue Opel because her TA is off campus.

Once I hung up I hugged mom again and said this was great! She said it was a big waste of gas but if I don't mind she wants to drive along and watch me ride down 128 naked! I giggled and said maybe she can get a few pictures from the car! Mom said we are both such adolescents at times but it makes us fun! After we ate we watched a movie by the fire and then went off to bed.

I woke up Tuesday so eager to ride my new bike naked down 128! Woo hoo! Still, I made coffee and once I heard mom moving around made breakfast too. WCVB said the weather ought to be fine, clear and chilly. I was scrambling eggs when mom came down and she got coffee and said I was treating her like a queen. I joked about her being "queen mum" and we laughed.

We both think of royalty as very outdated and mock it kind of regularly. So no surprise. As I served I said she was lucky I wasn't treating her like Anne Boleyn, also a queen! Mom went "Urk!" and clutched her neck and we laughed our butts off. We often have fun at meals. After eating we got ready to head out. I cleaned the kitchen up while mom dressed, and we went outside.

She said to be careful and then told me I looked awesome on my bike wearing just jewelry like a pagan priestess or something. (I did have low boots on, gotta save the toes!) And we set out! Might be the long way but we took 128. So much visibility! I might use Rt 1 through Boston sometimes but I sure liked seeing the cars and the people in them seeing me!

As it looped back toward Boston again I took a right onto Rt 24 and several exits down took Rt 106 through West Bridgewater to Rt 28 and rode right into Bridgewater center. Turned into the college, rode to Nash and parked next to Sue's Opel. Leaving room for mom to park her BMW there too. I asked if she was coming in and she said she would wait, but maybe if I took long enough. I laughed and went in.

Sue was in her office working away as usual, looked up and smiled as she saw me. I said hi and she did too, then asked if I knew much about the program. I said just what my uncle told me, so not all. Just that joining means I get to be naked all over MA! She looked at my bracers and asked if my uncle was possibly Louis Geffen?

I smiled and said not by blood but he and mom are coworkers and he has acted like my uncle since I can remember. Even gave me these bracers for Xmas this year! Sue said they look different and I told her they were the very newest prototype. Sue looked pretty impressed and then filled me in on how the program works.

Basically, it existed to study the effect of nudity on society, and was sponsored by the state legislature to help in crafting nudity legislation which was clearly coming one way or another. And it was sponsored by DARPA, because of the shield project. For us the shields only protect against weather but the military models do much more. And I remembered in time to not say a word about mine being the full model.

She said we are supposed to keep a journal about the bracers, but she was assuming in my case that was between me and Louis. For her we only need to pass in a brief report on interactions once a month, and we get extra psych credits too! And she handed me a cool ID card. Had my pic and name, DOB etc on it and on the back had the state seal and informed everyone that this person is legally authorized to be nude anywhere in the Commonwealth! Woo hoo!

Sue also showed me a small compartment on my bracers that gave me a place to keep the ID, and probably a credit card too. Cool! And told me that if I decide to live at school she can get me a spot in the coed dorm we called "the hill"! We also called it the nudie dorm and everyone knew a lot of students were naked there. She also told me I may be interested in the "Lethal Ladies" intramural club as they are a lot like me. And their official uniform is a pair of bracers or a belt and no pants! I said maybe if I lived at school, but it makes a long day to get to class at 9 AM, and leave school at 8 PM!

Sue laughed and agreed then reminded me I can get a spot in the dorm. Then said to enjoy the sunny day on my new motorcycle! Which she walked me out to see. Or she just wanted to watch me get on it? Sue is very gay, and doesn't care who knows! She did get to say hi to mom that way too, so it was nice no matter why. Besides, I like being looked at by anyone who is appreciating what they see! After a brief chat mom and I set off for home.

And I got pulled over about ten miles up Rt 24! By a female state trooper who was not as tall as me, but did look to be in good physical condition. She asked if I knew why I was pulled over?

I smiled "Because of bare bum showing?" and she laughed. Only a quick one but she had a sense of humor!

I showed her my ID and she looked it over carefully. Looked me over too! Then said to wait while she checks on this and went to her cruiser. Through the windshield I saw her face go from polite disbelief to outright amusement! She was laughing again as she returned to hand me my ID back.

And told me I should still wear a helmet for safety even though with that card I do not need to. I kind of liked her so I asked if she can keep a secret? She asked what kind and I said government. Showed her the bracers and said they had a new shield technology and to me it felt like it was about 75 out right now. And take a swing at me and see what happens, but be careful!

So she did! And dusted her butt off when she got back on her feet laughing again. Then asked if I use this road a lot. I told her I live in Salem and go to school in Bridgewater, so yes, most weekdays. She smiled, said her name is Amy and she was looking forward to pulling me over again! I asked why she would do that and she told me she can't get a good look at me when I am moving! I said that seemed reasonable and she laughed, patted my butt and said she will see me!

Got back on the bike and found mom a short ways down the road waiting and we went home. Where she laughed when I told her my story and teased me like a kid would saying I have a girlfriend! Who knows, maybe I do? Ha ha!
