One Night in Room 1203
Beth, a straight 30-year-old bartender, is offered money by an older couple, Carol and Christine, for one night of no-strings sex. Curious and tempted, she agrees and joins them in their hotel room. Over the course of the night, they lead her through intense pleasure and new experiences. By morning, she's aching, satisfied, and walking away with both the cash and a memory of a first time she will never forget.
Tags aren't decoration. I always label my stories properly, so if you're not into something, check the tags before you read, because some stories include themes that aren't to everyone's taste. Don't go in cold and get caught off guard.
The bar was quiet for a Wednesday. A few suited men nursing single malts, a pair of tourists puzzling over the wine list. Beth wiped down the mahogany counter with slow, practised movements. The lighting was warm, the shelves behind her glowing amber with backlit bottles, her long black hair tied up in a loose ponytail. She was thirty now, and had been behind this bar for nearly five years, long enough to know the regulars by their drinks, and the newcomers by the way they lingered.
The woman had been there since eight. Slim, in her late fifties, perched on a high stool with one leg crossed neatly over the other like she was posing for a photograph. Her hair was a too-bright blonde, cropped neatly around a face lined by sun and age in equal measure. The accent wasn't American, not quite, there was something softer, slightly musical. It suited her: elegant but a little sharp. She watched everything, especially Beth, with the faint amusement of someone who knew more than she said.
Beth slid a martini across to her. "Another vesper?"
"Mmm," Carol said, taking a sip. "You make them well."
Beth smiled. "Years of practice."
"I'm Carol," the older woman offered, her eyes intent on Beth.
"Beth."
Carol tilted her head. "What bringsyouto a place like this?"
Beth laughed. "I work here."
"No, I mean... here. This city. This hotel. This job." Her voice was dry but curious, her gaze steady. "You don't seem like someone who stands still for long."
Beth gave a half-shrug, rolling a lemon twist between her fingers. "It pays well. And I like the clientele. Well, the quiet ones. Mostly."
Carol smiled, slow and knowing. "My wife and I are travellers. We've been to three cities in two weeks. This one's a bit... greyer. But the hotel's nice. And the staff..." her eyes lingered on Beth "very pleasant."
Beth didn't flinch. Just kept her smile professional.
Later, another woman arrived. She looked to be a few years younger than Carol. Beth saw her before she heard her: tall, broad-hipped, a dark shawl over one shoulder and a voice low and velvety. She kissed Carol's cheek and leaned in close, murmuring something into her ear. Carol smiled, then turned to Beth with a glint of pride.
"This is Christine," she said. "My wife. She's Swiss. Isn't she stunning?"
Christine gave Beth a slow, appraising smile, her hand still resting lightly on Carol's back. The two of them were close in the way people are when there's no question of where the boundaries lie. Both of them looked at Beth.
"Good to know you Christine, can I fix you a drink?" Beth said.
"Vodka tonic," Christine replied, her voice low.
Beth turned to prepare her drink, taking an order from another guest as she did so. When she came back, Christine was watching her openly.
"You've got beautiful hair," she said. "Wearing it back like that shows off your face so beautifully."
Beth gave a polite smile. "Thank you."
"Where do you get your clothes?" Christine asked, eyes flicking over the cut of her blouse, the line of her trousers. "They suit you."
"Just high street," Beth said, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
Christine leaned forward slightly, chin resting on her hand. "You've got a very... elegant way about you."
Beth nodded, glancing down the bar.
Carol cut in before Christine could continue. "Beth. Can I ask you something... unusual?"
Beth turned back, wary but still smiling. "Sure."
Carol rested her hand on the bar. "Would you like to come upstairs with us tonight?"
Beth blinked, laughed once. "I'm straight."
Carol's expression didn't shift. "So? We're only in town tonight. Think of it as a one-off. An experiment."
Beth raised her eyebrows, amused but not impolite. "I appreciate the offer. But no."
Carol just nodded. "Alright. Worth asking."
They stayed and ordered two more drinks. Beth noticed how Christine leaned in closer, her voice dropping. They were still watching her.
As she wiped down the far end of the bar, Beth felt Christine's eyes on her again. When she came back, Christine smiled.
"Carol meant what she said. We could show you a good night. Better than you think."
Beth hesitated a beat too long before saying, "I'm flattered. But..."
Carol spoke again, quiet but direct. "Five thousand. Just stay the night with us. Until morning."
Beth froze. The numbers sat heavy in the air. She looked at them. Christine's expression was calm. Carol's was serious.
"That's a lot of money," Beth said.
Carol shrugged. "We're retired. We spend it where we want."
Beth looked away. Her mind started spinning. One night, maybe eight hours. A couple she didn't know. A lot of money.
"Eight thousand," Carol said, voice low. "One night. Nothing weird, just you and us."
Beth didn't answer straight away. She looked at the clock. It was nearly midnight and the bar was nearly empty. Her shift ended in ten minutes.
She turned back to them.
"Okay," she said softly. "But I'll need to close up first."
The last guest left with a wave and the soft clink of a half-finished drink. Beth cashed the till, wiped down the counter one final time, rinsed the shakers and stacked the glassware neatly like muscle memory. She could feel them behind her, the weight of two pairs of eyes, watching without intruding. Carol sipped the last of her drink like it was just another night. Christine didn't touch hers. Her thigh pressed against the stool, one hand wrapped round the base of her glass, the other resting lightly on her knee.
Beth untied her apron and hung it on the peg behind the bar. She smoothed her blouse, gathered her bag, and walked over. She wasn't smiling now.
"Ready?" Carol asked, her tone light, but her eyes flicked over Beth's chest and hips like she was checking for weaknesses in the armour.
Beth gave a small nod.
The three of them walked through the quiet lobby without speaking. The night porter glanced up, his gaze lingering for a beat, then away again. The lift was at the end of the hall, polished steel with a mirrored interior. Carol pressed the button, then stepped back beside Christine. Beth stood slightly apart, her pulse ticking just beneath her collarbone.
The doors slid open and they stepped inside. Beth could feel the silence. She could feel her own heartbeat in her ears over the soft hum of the lift. The faint floral scent of Christine's perfume came to her. She stood close, her arm brushing Beth's as the numbers ticked upward.
Carol watched them both in the mirror. Her mouth curved, like she was already replaying what would happen.
"You're doing very well," she said quietly, without turning.
Beth glanced at her.
"Most girls would be babbling by now," Carol added. "You're not."
"I'm not most girls," Beth said, before she could second-guess it.
Carol's smile widened. Christine let out a soft breath beside her, her knuckles whitening on the rail. Beth caught the edge of her reflection, cheeks flushed, lips parted slightly. She wasn't even trying to hide it.
But something shifted then.Most girls.
Beth's stomach gave a small, sour twist. Of course she wasn't the first. This was routine: well-practised and well-funded. A quiet lift ride, a generous sum of money, a willing stranger. The thought of the waiting cash seemed tainted now, dirty even.
The lift ticked past floor ten. Eleven.
Beth shifted her weight from one foot to the other. Her thighs felt tight beneath her trousers. She wasn't cold, but her skin prickled like it was.
Christine leaned in. Her voice was low, a murmur for Beth alone. "Mon dieu. You're even more beautiful up close."
Beth didn't respond. She didn't need to. The air between them was thick with expectation.
Twelve.
The lift chimed softly. The doors opened.
Carol stepped out first, her walk unhurried, elegant. She didn't look back to check they were following. Christine gestured for Beth to go next, and when she did, Christine stayed just behind her, hand hovering, never touching, but close enough that Beth could feel the heat.
They went down the corridor, soft lighting along the skirting boards, thick carpet underfoot. Then stopped at room 1203. Carol unlocked the door with a neat flick of the keycard and held it open.
Beth stepped inside. The suite was spacious. A huge king-sized bed and a view over the castle through floor-to-ceiling windows. There were two armchairs and a bottle of white wine in a cooler on the table. The curtains were drawn, the lamps dim. The silence of it all, the hush of the room, made Beth's nerves spike and settle at the same time.
Carol followed her in, Christine close behind. The door shut with a soft click behind her, and suddenly the room was too quiet.
Beth stepped forward a few paces, then paused in the narrow hallway, the weight of the room pressing in around her. The carpet was soft underfoot, the walls a pale beige. This was one of the premium rooms, elegant and expensive. She could smell something faint, probably Christine's perfume again, warm and floral, almost cloying now that she was breathing it in this close.
Then Christine was behind her, hand already on her hip. Not forceful, but there. A palm over the curve of her trousers, fingers relaxed, thumb stroking once. Beth tensed, just slightly.
"Sorry," she said, voice quieter than she meant it to be. "I'm just... nervous."
Carol's voice came from somewhere to her right, calm and casual. "Understandable but there's no need to be."
"Do you have a drink? Something stronger than wine?"
Christine was already moving, her hand slipping away. "I have vodka in the fridge."
Beth stood frozen for a beat longer, then walked a little further in, taking in the room. Her own reflection caught in the dark glass of the window: tall, pale, long hair loosened now around her shoulders.
Behind her, Carol crouched by the wardrobe, tapping something into the digital safe. Beth heard the beep, the soft click of it opening.
Christine came back with a half bottle of vodka and a single shot glass. She poured a measure neatly, her hand steady, then held it out to Beth with a slight smile.
Beth took it. The glass was cold in her hand. The first sip burned her throat, made her wince slightly, but the second half slid down easier. She gripped the empty glass for reassurance.
Carol was standing again now, a bundle of folded notes in her hand, neatly stacked and crisp. She crossed the room and laid it on the table, straightening the pile with two fingers.
"Eight thousand," she said. "You can take it now or in the morning. Your call."
Beth looked at it. Just looked. That much money in one place, it didn't even feel real.
"I'll leave it," she said.
She handed Christine the shot glass again. "Another?"
Christine refilled it without comment.
Carol moved to the table and pulled the cork on the wine with a quiet twist. She poured two glasses, not offering Beth one.
"Are you from here originally?" she asked, as if this were a dinner party and not what it clearly was.
Beth nodded. "Manchester. Been in Edinburgh for about six years."
"You like it?"
"Depends on the day."
Christine handed back the glass. Beth downed the second shot in one go this time, then exhaled sharply.
"Better?" Carol asked, one brow raised.
"A bit."
Christine sat on the edge of the bed, crossing one leg over the other. Her dress rode up, just enough to show the top of her thigh. She watched Beth with the same half-lidded gaze she'd worn at the bar, like she already knew how this was going to end. She sipped at the wine in her glass.
Beth didn't sit. She stayed standing, her body buzzing faintly now, nerves frayed at the edges but dulled by the alcohol. The air in the room felt thicker than before. Her blouse was clinging to her back. She reached up and undid the top button without thinking.
Carol smiled, not lecherous, just pleased.
"We're not in any rush," she said. "Unless you want us to be."
Beth didn't answer straight away. Her tongue felt dry. She took the vodka bottle and poured herself another shot without asking.
Christine chuckled softly.
"You'll feel that in ten minutes."
Beth downed it anyway.
"Maybe that's the point," she said, setting the glass down with a quiet clink.
Carol set her wine down and walked over, slow and assured, the way someone walks when they've already decided how things are going to unfold. Beth stayed where she was, back to the window, glass table beside her, the vodka beginning to spread a low, steady warmth through her limbs. Her hands were by her sides. She wasn't breathing properly.
Carol stopped in front of her. Not too close, not touching yet. Her eyes scanned Beth's face like she was committing it to memory. She reached up and brushed a lock of hair from Beth's cheek.
"No need to be nervous," she said, voice low, almost affectionate. "You're in very experienced hands."
Beth gave a small breath of a laugh. She wasn't even sure what that meant anymore.
Then Carol leaned in and kissed her.
It was soft at first, barely a press of the lips. Just the heat of her mouth, the lightest pressure, and then the retreat. Beth blinked. Carol moved in again, firmer this time, tilting her head slightly, her lips parting with slow intent.
Beth responded before she'd even decided to. Her mouth opened under Carol's, tentative and unsure. Then she felt Carol's tongue, just the tip, slow and searching, tracing the curve of her lower lip before slipping inside.
Beth's breath caught. Her eyes fluttered closed. Carol's tongue moved with expert care, no rush, no mess. She kissed like she was unwrapping something expensive, exploring Beth's mouth with delicate patience, learning its shape, coaxing a response.
Beth gave one. A quiet noise in her throat, involuntary. Her lips parted wider, and their tongues met properly now, sliding, curling. It shocked her how good it felt, how natural, how wickedly smooth Carol was. There was no awkwardness or uncertainty.
Carol's hand came up between them. She cupped Beth's breast through her blouse, lightly at first, then firmer, her thumb stroking across the rise of it. Beth inhaled sharply through her nose. Carol didn't break the kiss. Her fingers traced the curve, then slipped lower, finding the weight of it in her palm, thumb brushing deliberately over Beth's nipple.
The fabric offered no resistance. Beth felt it clearly, the pressure and gentle drag of Carol's hand over the stiffening point. She moaned into the kiss, her body leaning forward without meaning to.
Carol pulled back just enough to speak, lips brushing Beth's. "You're doing beautifully."
Beth opened her eyes. Her lips were wet. Her breath came shallow, ragged. Her nipples ached, the soft lace of her bra suddenly too tight. She could feel Christine's eyes from the bed, watching, waiting.
But right now, it was just Carol. Her mouth, her hand, the promise of what else she could do if Beth let her keep going.
She leaned in for another kiss. Carol responded, deeper this time, with purpose. Her tongue moved like silk, slow but hungry, coaxing Beth's lips open again, drawing her back under. Beth melted into it without thinking. Her hands, which had hovered uselessly by her sides, now gripped lightly at Carol's hips, her fingers curling into the soft fabric of her dress.
Then Carol's hand moved lower. She unfastened the first button of Beth's blouse with a flick of her thumb, lips never leaving hers. The next button followed. Then another. Beth's chest rose and fell beneath her fingers, each breath sharper now, skin prickling as the air hit it.
Beside her, the bed creaked. Beth didn't turn, she didn't need to. She felt Christine's presence before she touched her.
Hands, warm and full, slid around Beth's waist from behind. One rested low on her stomach, the other higher, just beneath her ribs. Christine leaned in, her breath hot against Beth's neck.
"You're gorgeous," she murmured, voice low and thick.
Beth shivered.
Carol pulled back slightly, just enough to look at her properly. Beth's blouse was open now, hanging off her shoulders. Her bra was black lace, delicate, barely concealing anything. Her nipples strained against the fabric, hard and sensitive.
Carol stroked a finger lightly along the top edge of the cup, then eased the bra down over one breast. She didn't uncover her completely, just enough to bare the nipple, which she grazed with the pad of her thumb. Beth gasped softly, hips twitching back against Christine.
Christine responded instantly. Her hands tightened at Beth's waist. Her mouth found the base of Beth's neck, lips dragging open and slow along her skin.
Beth tipped her head back, eyes fluttering closed, the sound of her own breathing loud in her ears. Carol's hand was still on her breast, teasing the nipple with slow, deliberate strokes, circling, pressing, flicking just enough to make her knees go soft.
Behind her, Christine's hands slid lower. They rested on Beth's hips for a moment, then moved to her arse, cupping it through her trousers, squeezing with firm, greedy pressure.
Beth moaned again, softer this time, caught between mouths and hands, heat flooding her centre with dizzying speed. Her blouse slipped fully from her shoulders. Her bra hung loose on one side, her chest rising into Carol's hand with every breath.
Carol dipped her head and kissed the exposed nipple, softly at first, then deeper, her tongue flicking across it, lips closing around it in a slow, wet pull.
Beth's knees nearly gave out. She braced herself with one hand on Carol's shoulder, the other reaching behind to grip Christine's thigh.
Christine kissed her neck again, then bit it, gently but with intent.
Beth moaned, louder this time.
"Still nervous?" Carol murmured, lips brushing against her breast.
Beth shook her head, the heat between her thighs like a burning ember.
Carol straightened, brushing Beth's bra aside entirely now, baring both breasts. She looked at them like something exquisite, thumbs brushing over the tips with maddening slowness. Beth trembled under her touch, every nerve along her front drawn tight and twitching.
Christine crouched behind, tugging Beth's trousers down in slow, steady pulls. They clung to her thighs for a moment, then slid free. She was left in just her black lace pants, damp now, the heat between her legs impossible to ignore. Christine's hands came back, warm palms stroking over the bare skin of Beth's arse, squeezing lightly, possessively.
Beth stood there, half-naked between them, chest heaving, lips parted, flushed and breathless. She should've felt exposed. Instead, she felt... desired.
Carol stepped forward and kissed her again, slower this time, lingering, her hands framing Beth's face as she pressed their bodies together. Beth moaned into her mouth, hips twitching back against Christine, who was now rising to her feet again, hands trailing up the backs of Beth's thighs.
Then the two women moved together in silent agreement, Christine guiding Beth towards the bed from behind, Carol stepping back, her fingers skimming down Beth's ribs as she retreated. They eased her down together, Beth's legs brushing the cool sheets, her back sinking into the soft mattress. Carol climbed up beside her, curling one leg over Beth's thigh. Christine took the other side, kneeling, eyes devouring the sight of Beth laid out beneath them.
