Sea Peoples Pt. 01

0 views18 min read19 days ago

I didn't really know my parents. I remembered them, I remembered having two sisters. I remember my people were traders, people who depended on the sea and worshipped the sea. I faintly remember my father. I remember our boat sinking in rough seas. That felt so long ago. Now I live in a different world where the masters thought of us as nothing but tools. They often buried people like me in their temples with them to help carry their fortune to the afterlife.

I was lucky to be working in this field. The Nile River would swell every spring and bring life to this land and I, like those around me, were lucky enough to plant the fields, harvest the wheat and mill the grain and knew as long as we did our part we would survive. The river was generous to us. And my owner, thought generally cruel, as was their culture towards slaves, knew that I and the other servants needed to be healthy to meet his wheat quota.

So, I was surprised when one day I saw several ships come up the river. Each was distinctly different than the others. They seemed to have been haphazardly combined into a vast navy.

We had all heard of the droughts. Mesopotamia, Greece, Cyprus had all seen multiple years of drought. But the river always protected us.

Many of the others took off running through the fields towards the desert. A few took up tools like they needed to defend what did not belong to them. I had just turned eighteen but was by no means mature or educated. I had the smart sense to just sit down and watch. These people came here to claim food they probably needed. I was not going to fight them. I had never earned a coin in my life, why would I take a spear or a broad iron to fight off invaders?

The biggest of these ships was quite different from the others. Made of black wood with a dragon head on the front. It was manned with women wearing hats with horns on them, furs from a faraway land and a strange respect from the other boats.

Led by the tallest, largest woman who could possibly exist, the boat actually lifted up a bit when she stepped ashore. Her sword was twice my length. Her eyes were crystal blue just like mine. Her blond main clean and washed while mine had been covered in dust for longer than I can remember. Some men of privilege, including my "owner", had at first charged towards the boats but just as quickly took a knee, knowing more about these strangers than I did.

She was known by the realm.

Her minions went about emptying the grain store as she surveyed the land, never seeming to blink but also never swinging her massive sword. There was no need to kill, her presence was enough to turn grown men in to nothing.

It was then that she first laid eyes on me. I felt an instant connection. Something distant I did not yet understand. She started walking towards me and I finally felt afraid. When it looked like I would run into a rabbit hole she paused, set down her iron blade and her shield. She held her hands together begging me to stay calm. She came within ten feet of me and sat on the ground in the field like I had done the whole time.

"What is your name?" she asked. In a language I remember from when I was young. "David" I squeaked back, not used to speaking unless being spoken to. She immediately lit up into a huge smile and started to laugh in a way that did not make any sense. I felt the urge to run again but knew that would be futile.

She beckoned me to come to her, and I both scared and curious did. When I was within arms reach she grabbed me and I briefly screamed as she picked me up from the ground like I weighed nothing. Exploring my body in the first health check of my life, she poked me in the ribs which made me laugh, fondled my loins which made me gasp, then pulled up my ragged cotton tunic and saw the scar above my right butt cheek. Grazing it with a finger, I faintly remember how it happened.

Setting me down on my feet facing her, my eye level same as hers sitting down. She had a serious but joyful look on her face and just seemed to stare through my eyes and into my soul. When she calmed down a few minutes later, she cocked an eye at me with her head tilted and a tongue pushing into her cheek, then said what would shape the rest of my life.

David Longsword, nobody thought we would ever recover you. The fact that you are here today, at this time, on this raid, is a blessing from the gods. I am Athena, your Aunt, I am the leader of your tribe. You were thought dead when your father's ship sank in the Black Sea. How on Earth you ended up here is a gift from the gods. How you at just four years old managed to have swam for hours to reach shore so many years ago. This moment for you and me is destiny.

A language I had not used in fourteen years poured from her. I understood everything but was equally captured by her way of saying it. This woman had to be eight feet tall and weigh more than three hundred pounds. I was 4'1". I was fed enough to keep working but never given enough to eat to become my true size. The lord of this land never intended for a slave to live over thirty years old. At times he could be kind, but when it came to sharing the bread we made, he could be a savage.

I don't know why I did it. I had not seen this woman in any memory, though I am sure she would stay in all my dreams going forward. But for the first time in my life, I felt safe. Without asking I crawled over to the warrior goddess and laid my head in her lap. It must have been a combination of the old language she spoke and the way she treated me with respect. I found myself crying on her tunic and hugging her massive leg. My stomach often ached for food while I spent my days growing wheat for others.

Without warning she reciprocated. Pulling me up off her leg and holding me tight between her massive watermelon sized breasts. I felt her tears pour down on my head. She told me how the whole village had set out across the seas looking for survivors and I was the only one. She told me how my mom died from sadness when she lost her husband and only son. She whispered to me about the droughts and how she had built a navy of retribution to take back what belongs to all. "Nobody should be a king," she whispered. "If we do not care for our fellow man and woman than we have no right to land."

The Sea People had risen up from all across this world. They had come seeking justice and my aunt was their informal leader.

I don't remember passing out but when I woke up, I was on a fur covered bed in the belly of a ship. The sea was definitely not calm but at the same time this was the first time I ever remember being on a ship. A few wax candles lit the space with the wooded windows closed to keep the water out. I heard occasional shouting from the deck as sailors did their work. The bed was much more comfortable than the sod I usually slept on. I felt dirty laying on such a majestic thing covered in dirt and dust.

That's when I heard her come down the stairs. Nobody that large could make a quiet entrance. The floorboards creaked even though this ship was obviously new. I was a captive, I knew, but a willing one.

"David it is still night. You fell asleep in my lap, and I didn't have the heart to wake you. You are safe with me and my navy."

Without warning, Athena began to remove her furs and tunic. She explained that our people never wear clothing to sleep as it could bring a curse from the gods. Before my eyes was the largest breasts on the planet, attached to an eight-foot-tall woman with rock heard abs. Each step she took let the muscles in her thighs and calves talk for themselves. There was a reason why she was the boss.

"David, do you know what a matriarchy is?" she asked, to which I shook my head. "In our culture the woman are in charge. The men grow food, hunt, look after the children and teach them our ways. The women train to fight. Our life is not like the people in that land of wheat. To them, women are the chaff while the men are the spine. In our world, the women protect their children and their husbands, while the husbands gather food, teach and raise our young. Each woman on their twelfth birthday is given a spear. They have to come home in one year with the head of a bear or they are not permitted to rejoin the clan.

On a man's twelfth birthday he is given two things, I fishing pole and a book. But you are different. A man has always been the head of our clan. Your father was the head, and soon you will be. I have led us on my own from afar while other women have protected the younglings back home. Finding you was a gift from the gods. It is my duty to prepare you to one day be our king. We will take it slow, I promise, but upon our return to our motherland you must be ready.

For now, I will not give you the fishing pole, but you must study the book. The words you will not understand yet, but I will teach you. The pictures on the other hand should be simple enough for a farm boy like you."

I could not tell if she was being serious or joking, but now she stood there in just her underwear and handed me a book. It was no more than one hundred pages and well used. I opened it to the first page, there was writing at the top and bottom, but more astonishing was a picture drawn of massive breasts. I looked up at Athena and saw her smiling, spinning her long hair in her right hand waiting for a light switch to go on in me.

4.

I was too scared to look at the next page as she seemed to be assessing me while I was trapped in the bottom of a boat somewhere of the coast of Egypt. I know I was being childish when I put my head down on my first pillow ever and pulled a cotton sheet over my head. That just made Athena erupt in another round of laughs. "If you were not my king, I would still want to keep you as a pet. You are the cutest little thing I have ever met!"

Athena, seemingly out of grace, blew out the two candles in the room. I could hear her take off the last of her clothing and purposefully throw her sandals off her feet against a wall. She then walked slowly towards the bed. She was whispering a nursery rhyme in our mother tongue about a fox catching a chicken. The side of the very well-built bed sank down as she sat on the edge. She seemed in no hurry, but I knew where she intended to go. There was nowhere to run. And honestly, I don't think I would unless she wanted to play tag.

I knew I needed a bath, she obviously bathed recently, but traveling by sea did not give sailors, particularly women, many chances to wash. I don't know how, but I managed to find a doll under the pillow. It was too dark to make out but had to be a girl. I hugged it to myself and curled myself into a ball. Athena stopped, realizing I was experiencing too much in too short of a time. She stood up and redressed. She simply whispered before leaving that my lessons would continue tomorrow but for tonight, I should sleep.

Then she was gone. I thought about it for a moment before drifting off. She was definitely going through emotions faster than I could and many I still did not understand. I was eighteen but had still never touched myself. When I rested in the sod hut I was not interested in doing such things. I knew how bodies worked, but I had never had a lesson on how bodies worked. Sometimes other slaves would go off into the fields and mate. Our owner usually sold the children off. He didn't want us to get attached to such things. My last moment before falling asleep was pure anger. How could anyone treat people the way he had? And he was one of the good guys? I was lucky to be in the hull of this ship, going where? with the most powerful woman alive.

5.

When I woke up, I felt ashamed of how I acted. Athena was way too aggressive, but for the first time since I was young, I was able to use my mother tongue, and it was definitely destiny that we met up. No doubt in another ten years I would have been used as fertilizer in the field I tilled, but now I had a chance to reconnect with family. To have a purpose other than to make a countryside lord rich, and I would be doing it with an actual goddess. My clothes were gone, either being washed or overboard. Not like I was wearing Armani or anything. The other kids called me high waters because the pants I wore were way too short. Which in the Nile river valley was a double entendre.

I wrapped myself in a fur hide, not sure what animal it was, but very cozy, and made my way to the top deck. Stepping out I was not surprised to see bad weather. It could have been worse, but the waves hitting the hull were large. We were the biggest ship in the fleet and we were shaking. I was shocked to see that all of the sailors on her ship were women. None as big as Athena, but all much larger than the people of the Nile. I felt tiny and useless, with a fur hide wrapped around my hips as these goliaths manned the sails and bailed water as need be.

One woman almost stepped on me before stopping and giving me a good hard look. "I am Alesandra of your clan, if you are not ready to swim you need to get back downstairs!" Compared to Athena she seemed normal. Maybe seven feet tall and boobs the size of cantaloupes. I didn't have time to explore more before she simply picked me up and set me on the top step towards the hull.

Maybe I should be angry at eighteen years old, but honestly, that sea looked forbidding and I had no idea where we were or where we were going. With hunger pains I ended up laying back down in bed, wishing I had eaten my porridge yesterday.

Someone had relit the candles while I was asleep and I found myself looking at the doll I was holding last night. To my surprise it looked just like me. That could not be an accident. Slightly irritated but not mad at the doll, I stuck it back under the pillow and then by incident found that book again.

"So, this book is supposed to teach me how to be the king?" I thought to myself, as I opened it up to page one again. Looking at the picture of a tall woman with large watermelon shaped breasts and rippled in muscles from her shoulders to her toes.

She looked like Athena, and the woman who just shoved me down into the hull again, but she was not like them. Her nipples were long and she was spraying something from them. She looked so powerful. She had body armor everywhere but her breasts. She was looking down but there was no person below her. Her fierce crystal blue eyes staring at a target not in the picture.

I cautiously turned to the next page and saw her again. This time she was squatting, and the picture was of someone looking up. Her sex and all her nethers seemed to pulse. She was looking over her muscular shoulder down at her subject. Not a look of anger, or happiness. It was a look of authority. Though I was looking by candlelight and did not know how to read, it was clearly a display of power. The woman did not want to hurt her subject but made it clear where he belonged.

Too overwhelmed, I closed the book. I could not fall asleep with a painfully empty stomach and the rocking of the boat, but I honestly feared what page three of (100!!!) had. There was no doubt this was my destiny. And it might be a good one, but it was now obvious that I would never be in charge, even as a king. Some of those skinny short women in the fields seemed sweet. We could have been a couple. But my destiny was not with any skinny short woman.

6.

I don't know how I fell back to sleep. Not like I had an iPad to watch but the sea was definitely getting rougher. I heard Athena knock on the door and then let herself in. She looked at me cuddled up in her furs and smiled. Then she said, "David, this is my room too, may I join you and rest?"

Scared as I was, I still nodded. This was not my boat. Athena started again, placing down her sword and shield then removing her furs and tunic. She had a band holding up her massive watermelons, obviously to help her with combat and sailing, and another one around her waist. She was obviously a woman of honor, and it was dawning on me that I had been a coward this whole time.

Without asking she removed her top. I remember she told me yesterday that our people do not wear clothes to sleep as it is an insult to the gods. She then pulled down and stepped out of her cotton panties. Her nethers were strangely shaven. I had seen a few when I lived in the huts of that farm though I had never thought to touch one.

Athena looked at me plainly. Her intent was clear that she was tired and I was in her way. Without any more warning she walked to bed and slipped under her sheets. Resting her head on her pillow and not so politely pulled me into a hug. My head resting between her watermelons.

"Did you find the doll David?" I squeaked out a yes as she rubbed my empty belly and nestled my head between her orbs.

"That doll is a copy of you from when you were little." All of us captains were given one to help us find you. I spent most of my adult life holding that doll and hoping one day to find the real person. And I did. This is destiny..... This is our destiny."

I pulled the doll out and looked again. It did look just like me, or maybe a much younger version of me. I then had a fleeting memory of my mother. I remembered her telling me about our tribe. I remembered the first time she threw me in a lake when I was learning to swim.

I gasped and came back from my memory when I felt a strong callused hand wrap around my penie. As if knowing my response, she pulled me deeper between her and held me tight. I did not have the strength to resist and was not sure if I would want to.

She then just as suddenly released her grasp on me. She searched under the pillow for the book and brought it to me. "Look at page one David and I will tell you the meaning."

I opened page one and looked as Athena took hold of my marbles and ran one finger up and down the space below it. "What do you see David?"

I managed to say with a tiny bit of confidence, "Boobs."

Athena laughed and began to massage me at the point below my marbles and above my button.

"The text translates that the king must only be fed the nectar of a goddess. No meat, no fruit, no vegetables. He must respect, love and protect his caretakers."

David was in a fit, contemplating the confusing words while trying to contain his desire to hump Athena's fist.
