Belle Unbound: From Billy to Belle
Belle Unbound Pt. 14
Belle Unbound Pt. 14
Thanks again to the lovely regular readers and the wonderful comments and messages on the last chapter. I think you might enjoy this one...😘
Belle's story continues...
The Circle is no more.
With one whispered phone call, Belle brought down the Circle—the twisted web of men who bought, broke, and traded girls like her. Carver is behind bars, nursing a broken nose from Tyler. The tapes are in federal hands. And the powerful men who once thought themselves untouchable are being named, hunted, and exposed.
But not all monsters were caught.
The Chief escaped. And he took Red with him.
Belle should be celebrating. She should feel victorious. But as she stumbled out of that bunker—bruised, shaken, half-naked—she knew there was no victory, not yet. Not until Red is safe.
She was lucky Tyler found her first.
Now, for the first time in what feels like forever, Belle is free. No orders. No cameras. No threats. Just the open road, the warm sun on her skin, and the quiet strength of the boy who's loved her all along.
Tyler is more than a lifeline—he's safe. Steady. Good. And Belle can finally stop running, if only for a moment.
But when survival is all you've known, what do you do with gentleness?
With love?
This chapter is something different—something softer. Desire, blooming in the space where fear once lived. Trust, unfolding with every touch.
Because now, Belle isn't just fighting for her life.
She's learning what it means to have one.
All characters are over 18 and this is a complete work of fantasy and nothing more.

Belle and Tyler
The neon glow of the motel sign flickered in the dark as Tyler pulled into the gravel lot. The place was far from glamorous—just a tired stretch of rooms on the edge of town—but it was quiet, secluded, and enough for now. He parked, got out, and came around to my side of the car before I could even think about moving.
"Hey," he whispered as he scooped me up into his arms. "I've got you."
"Tyler, I can walk," I mumbled, but my body betrayed me, sagging into him as the weight of the night crushed down on me.
"I know," he said with a soft smile, carrying me as if I weighed nothing. "But humor me."
Inside, the room was simple: beige walls, a dresser with a cracked mirror, and a bed that looked a little too lumpy. A small bathroom door stood ajar, revealing white tile and an old clawfoot tub. It smelled faintly of bleach and cheap air freshener, but it was safe, and right now, that was everything.
Tyler set me gently on the edge of the bed and knelt to take off my shoes.
"I, uh... grabbed some clothes from Carver's place. Didn't think you'd want to wear that..." He trailed off, gesturing to the torn, humiliating scraps I still had on, hidden by the blanket Tyler had wrapped around me. His jaw tightened, and I saw the flash of fury in his eyes before he swallowed it back. "There's a shirt and some sweatpants in the bag. They're clean."
I nodded, my voice too tangled to thank him.
He disappeared into the bathroom, and I heard water running. A moment later, he reappeared, wiping his hands on a towel. "Bath's ready. It'll help."
I tried to stand, but when I moved, a sharp sting sliced across my back. I sucked in a breath, the memory of the whip searing like a fresh wound.
"Belle." Tyler was at my side in an instant, his fingers light on my arm. "Let me help."
"It's fine," I whispered, biting down the pain. "It's... better now."
I made my way to the bathroom, the hot steam fogging the mirror. Stripping out of the remnants of my outfit felt like shedding a nightmare. The water stung like hell at first, fire on my back and shoulders, but as I sank deeper into the warmth, the pain dulled, and exhaustion took over. I closed my eyes, the sound of the running faucet fading into a distant hum.
When I woke, the water was cold, and my fingers were pruned. I dried off carefully, wincing as I patted my back, then slipped into the soft, oversized shirt Tyler had brought. It smelled faintly of clean cotton and... him.
I combed my hair, applied a little makeup to hide the shadows under my eyes, and took a steadying breath before stepping back into the room.
Tyler was sitting cross-legged on the bed, flipping through the channels on the tiny TV. He looked up as I walked in, his smile warm but his eyes searching.
"Feeling better?"
"Better than before," I said, sitting beside him.
"Good." He reached out, took my hand, and laced his fingers through mine. "We'll get her, Belle. Mancuso's team is already working on it."
I chewed my lip, my heart still heavy with worry. "And if they can't?"
"Then we will." He said it so simply, so fiercely, that for a moment, I almost believed we could do anything.
A knock at the door made me jump, but Tyler squeezed my hand. "Relax. It's just dinner." He got up, grabbed a pizza box from the doorstep, and set it on the bed between us.
The smell of cheese and pepperoni made my stomach growl. We ate in silence at first, too hungry to speak, but then Tyler pulled a face as he bit into a slice.
"Greasiest pizza I've ever had."
I laughed, a real, unexpected sound that surprised even me. "You ordered it."
"Yeah, well, I didn't expect it to come with a side of heart attack."
We devoured the whole thing anyway, greasy or not.
When the box was empty, we lay back against the pillows, the weight of the night pressing down again. Tyler turned to me, his fingers brushing a stray strand of hair from my face.
"You're safe now," he murmured.
I leaned in, and his lips met mine—soft, steady, grounding me in the storm.
The kiss deepened, warmth spreading through my chest. For a moment, there was no fear, no Circle, no shadows chasing us. Just us.
When we pulled apart, his arms wrapped around me, holding me as if he'd never let go.
And for the first time in what felt like forever, I believed that maybe, just maybe, I wasn't alone.
———————
The next morning when I woke I was disoriented, panic gripped my chest for a moment. My eyes darted to the door just as it creaked open, my heart lurching as shadows played tricks on my mind. I half-expected Carver's leering grin to appear.
But instead, it was the wonderful sight of Tyler, balancing two steaming cups of coffee with a sheepish smile. Relief washed over me, and I let out a breath I didn't know I'd been holding.
"Oh, you're finally up." He smirked. "You know it's past ten, sleepyhead."
"Past ten?!" I sat up, rubbing my eyes. "Must've been easy falling asleep next to you."
He flashed a goofy grin. "Well, women do tell me I have a knack for putting them to sleep."
I laughed, and for a few precious seconds, things felt normal. Easy. Like the weight of the world had been lifted, if only for a heartbeat. But then his expression darkened, and reality came rushing back in.
"Listen, Belle." He set his coffee down, leaning forward. "I spoke to Mancuso. She's swamped, as you can imagine. No leads on the Chief yet. Looks like he had a whole escape plan ready the moment things went south. She warned me not to expect news anytime soon unless he slips up."
I nodded, my throat tight as dread coiled inside me. I silently prayed for Red, though deep down I knew that a man like the Chief—one who had hidden in plain sight for so long—wouldn't make many mistakes.
The heaviness between us grew thick, suffocating. Tyler, ever the fixer, tried to lift it.
"Hey." He nudged my arm gently. "I've got the lodge free for a few days. We could go up there while you get your bearings. No rush to leave. Pa said you can have it for as long as you need."
He trailed off, a flicker of regret flashing across his face as he realized what had happened between me and his father.
I had to ask. I couldn't keep it inside. "Tyler..." My voice was soft, but the question hit like a hammer. "Did you watch the tape?"
His jaw tightened. "No." He shook his head firmly. "I couldn't. That scene would haunt me for the rest of my life. The idea of it is bad enough."
I looked away, the words landing sharper than I'd expected. Rejected. Not by Carver or the men who used me, but by him. Tyler had never humiliated me, not once, in all the years we'd known each other. That's why it hurt worse than anything Carver had ever done.
When he noticed my silence, his hand reached for mine, warm and steady.
"Belle." His tone softened, his thumb brushing over my knuckles. "I'm angry with him, not you. I told you I'm with you until the end. I meant that."
The knot in my chest loosened, and I held his hand tighter. "I like that you're calling me Belle now. Not Billy."
He smiled, a slow, genuine smile. "Well, you don't look much like a Billy anymore. But underneath, you're still both. It's why I love you."
———
Later that day, Tyler drove me upstate to his family's cabin. The road unfurled ahead of us, sunlight dappled through the trees as the miles passed in a blur. He'd spoken little since we left, his eyes fixed on the road, but I could feel his glances every so often—the kind of looks that hadn't been there before. I didn't know what to make of it.
The cabin itself was peaceful, nestled by a quiet lake that reflected the sky in glassy perfection. A postcard kind of place. Safe.
Tyler stayed just long enough to get me settled before heading out to check on his parents. As he loaded up his truck, I wondered how Mr. Hargrove would handle the fallout. His resignation was inevitable, and while he wasn't as tainted as the Circle members, there'd be no coming back from this. The man who once wielded so much influence had become a cautionary tale.
Tyler had mentioned his parents' marriage was fraying—something held together for show more than love—and I pitied Mrs. Hargrove, caught in a web she'd never chosen. Another innocent who's life would be changed by that wretched organisation.
When Tyler left, I was alone for the first time in what felt like forever. The silence pressed down, heavier than I expected.
I should have felt relief.
I was free.
I could taste it in the air, feel it in the way my hands didn't shake as much anymore. But it didn't feel like I'd imagined. Freedom had sharp edges—guilt that gnawed at me, nightmares that pulled me back into the darkness, and an ache that grew every time I thought of Red.
I took long walks along the lake, letting the cold air sting my cheeks and the sound of water wash through my mind. Bit by bit, I began to unfurl, but the knot inside me never truly loosened.
When Tyler came back the next day, he walked through the door with the kind of news that felt like a punch and a balm all at once.
"Belle," he began, handing me a beer as we sank into the sofa. His eyes were serious, a sharp contrast to his usual easy grin. "They've got almost everyone. The Circle is finished."
My breath hitched.
He explained how the bust had played out. The Chief's own security system at The Hollow had become their undoing—hours of footage, mountains of evidence. Most of the Circle's members had been caught red-handed. Under the weight of prosecution, many had turned on each other, revealing secrets and schemes that had stayed buried for years. Only one man had slipped through the cracks.
"Eldon Pruitt," Tyler said grimly. "That's the Chief's actual name. It's all over the news—he's one of the most wanted men in the country now. Armed, dangerous... and with a hostage."
My stomach twisted. "Red."
He nodded; his eyes clouded with worry.
"Any leads?"
"Mancuso's working it, but... looks like he had a pretty good escape plan ready. She thinks he might've left the country."
The words hung in the air, heavy and cold.
We sat in silence for a while. Then Tyler leaned back, trying to ease the tension with a small smile. "So, what do you want to do next? Now you're free?"
"I don't know what free even means," I whispered. "I've got a bit of cash, what I managed to squirrel away. I thought about finally going to college, that was the original plan... but everything's different now."
"You can still go," he said. "Mancuso mentioned protective custody. New name, new life. Enough to get you started."
I let out a soft laugh. "Another name? I'm finally getting used to Belle."
Tyler smirked. "Yeah, well, it suits you."
We talked like that for a while, the kind of easy banter that felt almost normal. Then he shifted gears, that grin tugging at his lips again.
"You need a break," he said. "Somewhere warm. A beach. Come on, you deserve it."
I thought back to my dream of standing on a beach with Red, watching the waves crash. I couldn't really imagine myself relaxing while Red was still in danger, but for fun I played along with Tyler's game.
"Where would we go?" I asked, playing along.
"Miami. Great beaches, great food. I could sneak out away from you and catch a Dolphins game."
"Miami?" I wrinkled my nose. "Nah, Florida's still too Southern for me. I want to get as far away as—"
The word caught in my throat.
Florida.
My mind reeled, a flash of memory sharp as glass.
The Chief's voice echoed in my ears. His smug grin. His hideaway. He'd told me. He'd actually told me. Spelled it out in fact. In the heat of everything I'd forgotten.
"Tyler," I breathed, my heart slamming against my ribs, "I know where he is."
"What?"
"The Keys. The Florida Keys." My pulse raced. "He's there. He's hiding there."
"You're sure?"
I nodded, the pieces snapping into place. "I'd blanked it all out, as this was when..." I stopped unable to tell Tyler exactly what had just happened when the Chief told me about his hideaway. "Look we just have to go."
"Belle, we should call Mancuso—"
"When we get there," I cut him off, my voice fierce. "I need to see Red for myself. I need to know she's okay."
For a moment Tyler said nothing. I thought he was going to argue with me. He searched my face for a long moment, then exhaled, defeated but willing.
"Alright," he said. "Let's grab what we need. It's a heck of a drive, but let's go."
—————
Only us
Belle:
Tyler wasn't kidding—it was a heck of a long drive. Despite the season, the heat in his pickup was stifling, and the truck wasn't exactly built for the kind of distance we were covering.
When Tyler suggested we stop for the night, I agreed without hesitation. He'd already driven several hours to the cabin, and now we had a gruelling journey ahead, heading across and down to the Keys. We made it just over the state line into Georgia before we started looking for a motel.
We found a small, simple place. It was clean, and the lady at the desk was friendly enough. She even assumed we were newlyweds or had eloped, which gave us both a good laugh.
Despite the long drive, and what we were driving to, it was good to spend time in his company again. Better that I didn't have to worry about someone wondering what I was up to. Despite everything, I felt at ease. Tyler had that way to him.
The motel room itself was surprisingly nice—clean, fresh-smelling, and free of that stale cigarette odour most motels seemed to have. The strict no-smoking policy probably helped.
Tyler took a quick shower first. When he emerged, I couldn't stop my eyes from wandering. He'd always been muscular, but now, after a full season of college football, his body had a lean, athletic tone. His skin was a deep golden tan, and water dripped down his chest in a way that felt... distracting.
Things had been different between us lately. I'd caught Tyler looking at me more than once—lingering glances at my legs or my chest. Not just friendly glances either, but something more.
And to be honest, I'd been thinking about him too. But the timing didn't feel right. Not with Red still in danger. It seemed wrong to let those thoughts go anywhere, even if the temptation was strong.
When it was my turn, I took my shower, taking time to cleanse and moisturize. The welts on my skin had nearly faded now—two days at the cabin had done wonders for my recovery.
I took my time, making my skin as perfect as I could. Glad to have some routine. As I touched my body my thoughts couldn't help but jump to Tyler. Of him in the shower earlier. I chastised myself again, but without thinking, I pulled out some lube. I knew I shouldn't, probably wouldn't, but it was good to be prepared.
For the last few days, I'd been wearing loose, practical clothes. Nothing figure-hugging or particularly feminine. But tonight, I wanted to feel a little more like myself and a little sexy again. Like Belle. Tyler had managed to get a pile of my clothes from Carver's house. The one's Carver had bought for me I threw away. But there were some of the nice things I'd bought with Red, and that was a nice thought. A way to be close to her.
Plus, it was nice to feel girly again.
I slipped on a delicate silk camisole top with matching French knickers. The set was a soft cream color with delicate black detailing along the edges. The knickers rose high on my thighs, just enough to be playful without being overly revealing.
I instantly felt more feminine and more... well, me. The Circle had done a lot of evil things to me, but it had revealed something that was inside. Something true.
As I dried and styled my hair, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. A part of me I hadn't seen in a while. I added a touch of makeup—just a hint to brighten my face, make my lips more kissable. Then, feeling a little self-conscious in front of Tyler, and a little guilty, I draped a cotton robe over my shoulders, but leaving it open in the front.
Tyler:
It had been hard to be around Belle for these last few days. Harder in a good way I suppose. I'd had thoughts about her when she was Billy, but now seeing her as Belle, caring for her and what she'd been through, it was all I could do most days from scooping her in my arms and never letting go.
It felt like Belle felt it too—the looks, the little comments, the way her eyes lingered on me. But I didn't want to push. Not after everything she'd been through. The last thing I ever wanted was to be one of those guys—just another asshole trying to take advantage. She needed a friend. She needed safety.
Still... damn, it was hard not to want more.
When Belle walked back in the room I tried myt best not to stare. She lookedsomething. Her robe was open, so I could see what she had on underneath. The silk outfit was new and it held her in all the right places. It was the body I'd had thoughts of when she was Billy, small and tender, but muscular in its own way. Like a gymnast I used to say. But now it seemed softer, her hips seemed wider, giving her some shape and feminine curve. And the boobs were definitely bigger, pushing out slightly in the silk top. The tips of her nipples gently pressing into the smooth cream colored material.
As she moved closer I could smell her, her perfume, her freshness, her soft femininity. Her skin shone, looking as pale and delicate as porcelain.
I could feel myself getting aroused. I had to tell myself no, that she'd been used enough, I shouldn't add to that. Not be another man taking what he wanted, what he desired. Be her friend Tyler, nothing more.
Belle:
I sat down on the bed beside him to watch TV. Some awful game show was on. I shifted closer, wiggling my hips just enough so we were touching, letting my robe fall open revealing my legs. Pulling out my makeup bag, I started painting my toenails.
"I don't remember you doing that back in the day," Tyler joked.
He leaned back against the pillows, but I caught him glancing at my bare leg, still gleaming from the moisturiser I'd rubbed into my skin earlier. I heard him sigh, almost nervously.
