Booty Shorts - Good Vibrations

Hello, and welcome to another edition of Booty Shorts, my series of stand alone stories.

Content warning: This one is NOT like most of my usual stories. This isn't romance, this is smut. There's some explicit M/F action (in addition to, not to the exclusion of, some yummy F/F action, as is my usual wont.) Feel free to go elsewhere if that isn't your jam. I promise I won't be insulted if this isn't your thing.

If this is your thing, I hope you enjoy!

"¡Cuidado, niña estúpida!"

"Get bent!" she yelled back. The swarthy, wetsuit clad man sliced down the wave, splashing her. They paddled their surfboards up the swell then down the back side.

"What a jackass."

"This is almost as bad as Gulpiyuri, the way these guys hog the water. And there's three times more beach here!"

"Right? Not like it's crowded either."

"I know! These waves stretch out for a quarter mile. Like, don't crowd us!"

It was off season at Zarautz, Spain, and they had rental wetsuits to go with the rental boards to withstand the frigid Atlantic waters. There were maybe twenty other surfers willing to brave the cold to enjoy some truly epic waves. At least the fall sun was blazing down from a clear, blue sky making the air temperature pleasant, in contrast to the cold waters.

After paddling over a few more swells, they turned back towards the shore, looking over their shoulders for the next killer wave.

"Last run? Or a few more? Remember this will be the last city where we can surf."

"Think this will be good. That last wipeout held me under a good thirty-five seconds. Plus my feet are freezing. Think I'm ready to go eat."

"Thirty-five seconds, huh?"

"It was about thirty, thirty-five heartbeats, my heart rate was elevated due to adrenaline, so... yeah. Maybe longer since I was holding my breath. Diver's reflex slows your heart rate."

She grinned, shaking her head at how her partner's eccentricities made her love her more as the years went on.

"¡Hola, chicas hermosas!"

They both startled, turning to find a man floating on a board a few yards away.

"¿Qué hacen ustedes dos, jovencitas, aquí? ¿No deberían estar en la playa, tumbadas en bikini?"

"No habla."No reason to let this guy know she spoke Spanish fluently, since he was trying to pick up on her. And so condescendingly too. "We're not from around here."

"Americans, heh?" he replied in a thick Spanish accent. "You get lost out here? Need help getting back, heh?" His teeth were startlingly white against his dark tan. A lifetime ago she might have been interested. She was bi after all, but her wife... well...

"How exactly would one get lost on the water when the beach is right there?" her wife exclaimed in that tone of voice that told her she didn't realize the man was flirting with them.

"I... no... I mean are you want some help? The waves very big."

"That's why we're out here. Isn't that why you're here? Areyoulost?"

She turned her head and smothered a laugh at the expression on the man's face.

"No, I...meirda," he muttered, then shifted gears. "Just thought lovely America ladies look thirsty.Muchosun and salt. Maybe I buy you sangria atKirkilla? We could meet my friend."

"Hmm, free sangria. What do you think, babe?" Her wife looked at her with a guileless expression. She still had no idea what was happening.

"No thanks. We already have dates."

She reached over to tug on her wife's wetsuit sleeve and pull her a little closer, then leaned over and kissed her wife on the lips. Her wife's eyes lit up in realization.

"Oh! He's hitting on us, right? Sorry, I missed that."

The man's eyes had bugged out at the two tanned, blond girls kissing in front of him, then his shoulders slumped in the realization that his plan to pick up these two tourists for him and his friend had run full speed into a gay wall.

She looked out to sea and spotted a truly monstrous wave surging towards them.

"Tell you what," she said. "To show there's no hard feelings, if you can stay up on this wave longer than either of us, we'll buy you and your friend a pitcher. If we both stay up longer than you, you have to pay for ourpaella especialatKarlos Arguiñano."

His face blanched at the potential price tag of that bet. Then he looked at the wave rolling in, and she could literally see the ever present dude-bro optimism come over him that if alcohol was involved maybe he could swing things his way after all and he made the decision that two chicas couldn't possibly handle this wave as well as he could.

"You got a bet. See you on beach!"

They all started paddling their boards towards the shore.

"Sync run?" She asked her wife as the wave started to lift them up.

"Sure."

They didn't have to paddle hard. Soon all three of them were sliding downhill. The Spaniard popped up on his board first, and they quickly followed.

They could see he was all about the flash, carving back and forth across the face of the wave.

Not very smart when the bet is who stays up longer, she thought to herself.

They followed him, gaining on him quickly since they weren't turning as much. They glanced at each other and nodded in unspoken agreement.

As he pulled out of a carve and looked back for the curl, his eyes widened to see both of them bearing down on him. He wobbled indecisively then straightened out just in time for the girls to flash past on either side, less than an arm's length from him.

She called out "Hup!" and they both carved to the left, then "Ho!" They sliced right. "Hup! Ho!" Their boards might as well have been tied together, the distance between them never widening, as they turned, waiting for the curl to catch up from their right.

The Spaniard watched their poetic, back and forth motion, dumbfounded, and failed to notice the curl had caught up with him. At the last second the gust of wind coming out of the pipe brought him back to his senses. He crouched low to pick up speed, trying to follow the girls as they easily shot out of the pipe into the sunlight.

He wasn't fast enough and the wave crashed over him, pummeling him beneath tons of water.

The girls slid along toward the shore and looked back to see him bob to the surface. They exchanged a high five across the space between their boards.

"Nice run, Alyx."

"You too, Mellony."

Mellony stifled a huge yawn.

"I wish we hadn't had to get up so early."

"Taking any of the later trains would get us in after dinner. I want to eat tapas in Barcelona tonight before we get on the ferry tomorrow."

"I know babe, I'm with you. I just want a nap and you know I can't sleep sitting up."

She lifted her feet, setting them on the seats facing them, using her foot to slide her backpack out of the way. The train was maybe at a quarter capacity and they had the end of this car pretty much to themselves. She leaned over and laid her head on Alyx's shoulder, closing her eyes in what she knew would be a vain attempt to sleep.

To her surprise, when she opened her eyes the sun had changed angle. She looked at her Apple Watch and saw she'd been out for almost two hours. Looking down she saw Alyx had finished more than half of the sudoku book she bought at the Zarautz station, and was working through yet another math puzzle.

"Wow, I can't believe I actually slept!" she said, stretching her arms, trying to touch the overhead with her fingertips.

"You were snoring," Alyx said absently as she continued to scratch her pen across the page.

"I was not!"

"Were too."

"Brat!" She reached up and turned Alyx's chin with her fingertips to give her a kiss. Alyx made a face.

"You need to brush."

Mellony laughed. Alyx always, alwayssaid exactly what was on her mind. A lot of their college classmates had found it off-putting or rude. Mell had always found it charming. It's what made them work. She got Alyx, like no one else in the world. And Alyx was keenly aware that Mell understood her perfectly and accepted her. They'd been deeply in love since a few weeks after they met during their senior year at Tallahassee. And best friends ever since.

"If I need to brush, then I shall brush." She rummaged in her backpack for her travel toothbrush and tiny tube of toothpaste.

"I'm gonna head that way to find a bathroom. Want me to pick up lunch from the cafe car?"

Alyx looked up and wrinkled her nose.

"No pre-packaged sandwiches."

"Would I do that to you?"

"I know, sorry. I'll kiss you better as an apology after you've brushed."

Mellony squeezed her shoulder as she got up and stepped over Alyx to head towards the front of the train.

She found a bathroom and dutifully brushed the offending breath away, then picked up what she judged would be an acceptable lunch in the cafe car. As she arrived back at their seats, she saw Alyx had put away her puzzle book and was looking at her phone, probably checking to see if their surf shop had received any online orders.

After working at a Ron John shop for a couple of years after college, they'd turned a modest inheritance Alyx had received into a small store, the Two Chicks Sun-N-Surf, located directly between one of the biggest hotels in Clearwater and the beach. They'd been successful enough to buy a small house for themselves, which included a small yard for their dog. They'd also been saving for the last two years to have enough money to close their store at the beginning of the off season to travel to Europe. They'd flown into Paris and had spent the last two weeks making their way through wine country, Nice, then Portugal and Spain, making a point to visit the good surfing cities.

Alyx had been willing to close the store during their vacation, mainly because she didn't trust anyone but themselves to run it. But Mell had insisted on keeping the online shop active. Mellony had studied marketing and graphic design and had come up with a logo of two fuzzy baby chicks on a surfboard. Their store brand shirts sold well and they did a brisk online business. Alyx had grudgingly agreed that their dog sitter could probably handle processing and shipping the online orders while they were away for a cut of the profits. But Alyx checked their shipping portal every day making sure orders were going out in a timely fashion. As well as checking for photos the dog sitter sent them of their pup.

"No phones, unless it's an emergency or taking photos. We agreed, remember?" She picked up one of the backpacks and set it in the seat she'd vacated, then sat down across from her wife.

"I was just checking!" Alyx said, guiltily stuffing her phone into the front pocket of her pack.

"Fine, but you're done now. I scored some cheese and grapes. Even got some hummus and veggies."

"Oh, great!" Alyx said, her smile lighting up as it did every time Mell successfully predicted what would make her happy

They munched their way through lunch, enjoying the view of the Spanish countryside.

After a while, Mellony dusted crumbs off her hands then took the container of grapes from Alyx and set it aside.

"What?" Alyx asked, confused.

Mellony got up and straddled Alyx's lap.

"You said you'd kiss me better after I brushed. Should have done it when I got back, but I figured it's okay, we'll both taste like cheese and grapes."

Alyx broke into a broad smile then grabbed a double fistful of Mellony's hair and pulled her close. They kissed deeply, their tongues dancing for a moment. When they came up for air, Alyx leaned into the aisle and peered towards the front of the train. There was no one close enough to notice a little hanky panky. She kissed Mellony again, running her hands down her sides and cupping them under the globes of her wife's ass.

"Mmm, I hate it when we're too tired to play like last night," she said into Mellony's mouth.

"I know babe, that was a heck of a surf day. We were wiped out. But..."

She turned and glanced over her shoulder to make her own check that their end of the car was still empty. She slid her hand under the fuzzy, teal quarter-zip fleece Alyx was wearing and into the waistband of her leggings.

"Mell!" Alyx hissed, but made no move to stop her.

"Don't worry, I just want to see if..."

He finger parted Alyx's lips. They were slick. Alyx made a half surprisedyipsound. Mellony smiled.

"...if you're wet." She withdrew her hand.

Alyx bounced on the seat in frustration, lifting Mellony a few inches.

"You tease!"

"Not teasing. I've been saving a surprise and this is a perfect time for it."

"Ooh, I like your surprises!"

Mellony sat back down and rummaged in her pack. After taking a few packing cubes out she got to the bottom. She looked around again to make sure there wasn't a conductor coming, then pulled out a bright pink tadpole shaped object.

Alyx's eyes got wide.

"You brought my Lush? I thought you said we weren't bringing any toys!"

"I saidyoushouldn't bring any toys."

"You naughty wife!"

Mellony had given Alyx a Lovense Lush for their fifth anniversary the summer before. The remote controlled sex toy was just the right size to slide into Alyx's pussy under her clothes. One of their favorite games was for Alyx to wear it while they worked at the shop. The anticipation would drive Alyx crazy, making her wetter and wetter. Sometimes Mellony would wait an hour or two before she'd use her phone to turn it on, usually when Alyx was ringing up sunburnt Midwestern tourists. The game was to see if Alyx could manage to hide her reactions.

She wasn't always successful. If Mellony had done a good job of teasing her and drawing out that anticipation, she'd usually jump. Sometimes she'd moan, and have to pass it off with a cough. Once, when Alyx had been answering questions about boogie boards for a young man on spring break wearing a University of Nebraska t-shirt, Mellony had managed to make her orgasm. She'd gripped the bewildered Corn Husker's shoulder to keep from falling down, moaning while her legs shook.

All of which was perfectly fine with Alyx. She was on the submissive side and loved when Mellony took charge and made her do things outside her comfort zone.

"Put it in," Mellony said, holding it out to her.

"Okay, I'll be right back." Alyx started to get up but Mellony pushed her back into her seat.

"No, put it in right here."

"Mell!" Alyx protested, but the look in her eyes told Mellony the idea appealed greatly to her.

"Right now babe."

"Fine!" The tone of her voice didn't match the reluctance of her word choice. She sounded eager. She glanced up and down the aisle again. The car was still mostly deserted, the only people at the far end.

She quickly pulled down the waistband of her leggings and slipped the lush down inside with her other hand. She locked eyes with Mellony and she fiddled for a moment trying to get the angle right, then she exhaled a soft "Ah," accompanied by a quiet wet sound as the large bulb slid into her. She pulled the tail up over her mound, as it contained the Bluetooth antenna.

She jumped, snatching her hand out of her leggins and yanking down her pullover as the door noisily slid open behind her. The conductor walked in, shouting.

"¡Próxima parada Pamplona! ¡Pamplona en diez minutos!"

He looked down curiously at Alyx, who had started giggling furiously, but kept walking up the aisle, calling out the next stop.

"Younaughtywife!" she said when she regained control of herself.

"Me? You're the one who just put a sex toy in on a public train."

"Because youmademe!"

"You love it and you know it."

"I love you, and you know it."

Mellony got up and switched places with Alyx's backpack, sitting between her wife and the window and kissing her. She took her own phone out of her pack.

"Exception to the phone rule for this, right?"

"Of course! But... don't hurry. Make me wait."

"Wouldn't have it any other way. Besides, I need to find our confirmation for the hostel in my email."

She started scrolling through her emails as the train slowed into Pamplona Station. Mellony was quickly consumed with verifying travel details, while Alyx nervously looked out the window at all the people on the platform. The train stopped briefly and a few more people entered their car.

As the train pulled out, the car door slid open once more and a couple noisily came in and claimed the four seats across the aisle from them. The man and woman were about the same age as Mellony and Alyx. He had a bleached blonde mop of curly hair, she had long, dark hair that came to her waist. They both tossed their backpacks into the aisle seats then sat facing each other next to the window, chatting in some language neither of the girls recognized.

Alyx was staring into space when the Lush gave a quickpulse, then stopped.

Alyx squeaked in surprise then glared at Mellony, who was innocently tapping at her phone. The Lush had an app that Mellony used to turn the toy's on or off, or control the speed and intensity. It even had programmed patterns so she could set it and forget it.

"I am so going to get you tonight."

"Promises, promises."

The young man across the aisle perked up.

"Oi! Americans, eh? Though for sure you were fellow Aussies. I bet Angelika here you were from Sydney, what with the tans and hair!" The man had a thick Australian accent. "Ya sisters?"

Alyx and Mellony had often been mistaken for relatives. They were both middling height, sun bronzed and bleached blonde from spending all their free time outdoors in Florida, with slim builds from swimming, surfing or paddle-boarding. Virtually the only difference physically was that Mellony's blonde hair was short with an undercut on the left side, while Alyx wore hers in a long braid.

"Nope, wives." Mellony said, leaning forward and holding up her left hand, showing off her blue silicone wedding band on her ring finger, matching the one Alyx was wearing. They'd got them specially for the trip so they could leave their real jewelry at home.

"Yeah? Good on ya! I'm Kyle, this is Angelika."

"I'm Mellony. This is Alyx," Mellony said.

"Nice to meet you both," Angelika said in a thick Eastern European accent. "We were in America last year. Is nice, but much harder to backpack than Europe. Too many buses."

"You can say that again," Mellony agreed. "The trains here are great. Where are you headed?"

"Barcelona," Kyle said, "We're staying for one night then catching the ferry to Genoa."

"Whoa," Mellony exclaimed in surprise.

"That's exactly what we're doing," Alyx said, in an almost accusatory voice.

"Yeah? Cheers to that!" Kyle said.

"You have place to stay in Barcelona?" Angelika asked, "We have no reservations yet. Only decided yesterday to go to Italy next."

"We have a room at a hostel near the city center." Alyx said. "It's nice. Good reviews."

"Hostel, eh? I thought you Americans would be in fancy hotels and all that," Kyle said with a smirk.

It could have come across as insulting from someone else, but Kyle's cheery personality took the bite out of the words. Alyx took it as a pragmatic question.

"I ran the numbers when we were planning our trip. We could have done three weeks of hotels or six weeks of hostels and AirBnB's. It just makes more sense to spend our money on experiences instead--of rooms!" The last words came out much louder and she turned and glared at Mellony. She had her thumb on her phone and an innocent smile on her face.

"Uh, bonzer. Makes sense, yeah?" Kyle said.

"Anyway, we're at the Kabul Party Hostel. It's in the middle of everything, and a few blocks from a famous tapas place we're going to try out."

"Would be okay if we follow to see if we get room?" Angelika asked.
