CHAPTER 2. AN ISLAND
Caylan woke up as the boat hit a sandbank. He looked around, but Adelaide was gone.
"Mum?" Caylan sat up, and through the bright morning sunlight, he saw the shore - right in front of him. Beyond the vast sandy beach, where a ship could be moored, lay dense jungles with palm trees and vines. Beyond the jungle, there was a view of mountains and hills.
"Mum!?" Caylan rubbed his eyes. Adelaide was standing in front of the boat, surveying the island and the shore. She looked to the left and then to the right. The first thing Caylan noticed was her ass, clearly seen through a wet, torn dress. Her strong, beautiful legs beneath thick thighs were covered in sand, as if she had fallen into it.
"Get up, we need to find someone." She turned to him, and Caylan barely managed to look away. It was good she didn't notice him staring at her butt.
"Where are we?" he rubbed the back of his head and got up from the boat, only to stumble and fall into the sand.
"I don't know, but I'm not going to stay in one place and wait for someone. We'll find people, some king, and with his army, we'll reclaim our home."
"Unlikely," Caylan fell back into the sand again, right at Adelaide's feet. "...that it will be that simple." He lifted his head and saw the curve of her buttocks peeking out from under her dress. From the ground, he had a perfect view of her backside. Caylan swallowed hard.
Adelaide turned and walked along the shore.
"Stop fooling around; get up," she said, walking so confidently as if she knew exactly where to go, her feet sinking into the sand.
"Mum, where are you going? What about the boat?" Caylan hurried after her, glancing back at the moored boat with every step.
"Forget about the boat!" Adelaide kept walking.
They walked for so long that, at some point, the boat behind them simply disappeared. The shore was clear, and the boat, which was just a dot far away, turned into nothingness. The sun burned like fire. The sand scorched their feet. Adelaide tore another piece of cloth from her already ruined and tattered dress and used it to shield her face from the heat.
Her back was bare, and Caylan enjoyed watching it--the way her muscles moved, her shoulders, her arms. He glanced again at the jungle to his left, nearly falling into the sand once more.
"Had we been here under different circumstances, I might even like this place. I wish I could have finished your portrait, Mum. I don't know where we are, but it's so beautiful here..."
He heard a smack and the sound of something hitting the sand. Caylan looked ahead again -- Adelaide was lying on the sand, face down.
"Mum?" He ran over to her. She was breathing but looked like she had sunstroke. "We need to get out of the sun."
"No, we must..." His mother barely moved her lips. Her face was covered with a cloth wet from sweat. "...keep going."
"Going nowhere is not an option." Caylan gently turned his mother onto her back and, grabbing her arm to get her up and onto her legs, made his way toward the jungle.
"Alistair... my love," her boobs shook with every uneven step, and with each time he adjusted her arm around his neck. He tried not to look, but her face was hidden behind a piece of her dress, so why not? He watched the drops of sweat drip down from her pretty neck to her bosom and down into breasts, hidden behind a piece of her torn dress.
He looked only at her breasts, at the way her big tits, just a little smaller than his head, swung like a pendulum left and right after each step.
"I shouldn't watch. I shouldn't watch. I shouldn't watch. I'm sorry, Mum." He turned away, concentrating on the jungle and only the jungle. Soon he started feeling really tired. He sat her down against a tree to catch his breath. His mother was heavier than he expected, her thick body, hips, butt, and breasts weighed down his movement. "I just need a little...ughh... rest."
They were surrounded by an impenetrable jungle, in the depths of which came the sounds of animals and birds he did not recognize at all. He had only heard of jungles a few times but had never been in one. He rarely went beyond the castle walls so of course he had never seen a jungle.
"Alistair..." Adelaide touched her son's head, running her fingers through his hair, across his face, and over his lips.
"You'll be better soon, Mum, we just have to wait." He fixed the scraps of her dress to hide her boobs. Her dress was too badly damaged and could possibly fly off just by snagging wrongly on a branch. And then she would be completely naked with nothing to protect her fine, pretty motherly thick body.
Caylan examined her once more. The great curves of her plump hips and ass, her oval melon-like breasts with nipples barely showing through the wet patches of the dress. Her eyes were hidden, but from behind the makeshift mask, her plump, lovely lips peeked out. The very ones he'd wanted to kiss on the boat, but she'd refused and shamed him. Her body was wet with sweat and smelled so wonderful.
He turned away. "What if we're the only survivors on the island?"
At that moment, the thought made his mind and man gut stir even more. He and his mother are the only survivors on the island? He and she? Man and woman?
This would be perfe...
Caylan slapped himself in the face. "Get a grip, Caylan. You need to think about survival. You won't survive in the wild. None of you know how to survive."
"Caylan?" Adelaide lifted her head, not removing the bandage. "Why are you slapping yourself, ohhh... My head. I'm so sweaty." She tore the bandage off and wiped her sweat along the neck and collarbones. "Why did we stop?"
"You felt unwell." He turned away as the smell of her sweat hit his nose again.
"It was so hot, I wanted to tear off all my clothes, and then I thought about your father, about your sisters, and... I don't remember anything else."
Caylan felt like the vines around them were moving.
"Maybe I'm not feeling so great either," he said, stepping closer to his mother as human figures dressed in green, blending with the vines, appeared from all sides. The leader, his brown face painted green and a bone through his nose, looked only a little older than Caylan. He stepped forward, holding a spear.
"Caylan?" Adelaide glanced around. "I think I'm still feeling unwell. I'm seeing things that can't be real."
"No, I don't think it's the sunstroke," Caylan whispered nervously. "I think this is real."
The leader inspected Caylan's clothing closely, noticing the Aetherfall embroidery. He made a guttural sound, addressing his fellow tribesmen, and the natives grabbed Caylan and his mother by the hands.
"Caylan!" Adelaide tried to fight back, but the natives overpowered her.
"It is going to fine, Mum." It was far from fine. They were dragged along for so long that morning turned to day, and the jungle grew denser with every step.
A blindfold was tied over his eyes, and he could sense more people around him. At some point, he heard the rustling of a hut, and the sunlight disappeared. He was forced to his knees, and the blindfold was ripped off. In the musty hut before him sat a woman.
Around her brown neck were various amulets, and on her head, in her dark hair, was an adornment of leaves. She wasn't young, but she wasn't old either. Her features still retained remnants of great beauty, and she was surely old enough to have been a mother several times over.
"Who are you?" the woman asked, carefully enunciating each word.
"Do you know our language?" Caylan asked, surprised. "I... I'm Caylan, Prince of Aetherfall." He pointed to the embroidery on the tattered remains of his outfit. "It's a kingdom across the sea."
The woman listened attentively, nodding slowly.
"How do you know our language?" Caylan asked again.
The woman pointed a finger at the embroidery of Aetherfall.
"Aetherfall? Did we teach you the language?"
She nodded and raised her hand to stop Caylan from speaking.
"Tell me something I don't know. What's your purpose here? Why did you come to our island?"
Caylan looked around and realized his mother wasn't with him. The hut was very small, filled with a lingering minty smoke. Behind him stood the young leader with a bone in his nose, his face resembling the woman sitting across from him. There was also another young hunter here. He was sitting behind the woman and often glanced at her. Too often.
"Our kingdom was attacked, my father, the king, was overthrown. He may already be dead, as well as my sisters. My mother and I escaped by boat across the sea. Are you friends of our kingdom? Can you help us?"
The woman paused. "Our tribe does not get involved in the affairs of people from across the sea, but your tribe gave us food, gave us tools, and..." She hesitated, struggling to remember a word. "...acceptance of our differences. And our customs."
Caylan didn't quite understand what she meant by "customs," but there was no point in asking.
"We will give you shelter and help you as much as we can, Caylan from Overseas."
Her tone became more friendly, which clearly displeased the man standing behind Caylan. He gave Caylan a painful kick in the back. A brief scuffle ensued between the woman and the tribeman--the sounds they made seemed to serve as their method of communication.
When the quarrel ended, he left nervously, leaving Caylan alone with the woman.
"Looks like he's not too happy that we're here."
"My son worries about the tribe and thinks your presence might be dangerous for us. But I am the chief, and he must listen to everything I say."
Caylan nodded awkwardly several times. "Yes, sons can be difficult sometimes." He gave a goofy smile.
The chief stared at him with indifference. His silly smile was as odd as his clothes, hair, skin, and eyes. She didn't care at all.
"My name is Ranarelci. My younger son will take you to your mother, and we will give you space and time for privacy, for love."
"Privacy, right. Thank you, Ranarelci." Caylan bowed.
"Kanavasi." The chief addressed the young man inside, the one behind her. They exchanged a few words, and Kanavasi motioned for Caylan to follow him.
Caylan stepped out into the village. It was deep in the jungle; green huts entwined with vines, and tall baobabs created a canopy over the tribe, protecting it from rain and harm. Everywhere there were people in green clothing, with skin slightly darker than Caylan's.
Kanavasi led him through the tribesmen and huts to the farthest one, then motioned for him to go inside.
"All right," Caylan said as he stepped into the dimly lit hut. Before his eyes could adjust to the darkness, he felt warm hands wrap around his neck and a pair of breasts pressing against his back. The person holding him pushed him roughly to the floor and ended up on top of him.
He saw the dark curls, felt the weight of very familiar boobs on him.
"Mum?" Caylan croaked, his face down.
"Caylan?" Adelaide let go of his neck and helped her son to his feet. "Sorry, I thought you were one of them. What's happening? Will they let us go?"
"Ugh." Caylan rubbed his throat. "They're allies and promised to shelter us."
"We don't need shelter; we need an army to reclaim the throne and rescue your father and sisters!"
"I think a shelter will be enough for now. Let's wait here before deciding what to do next. Alright?"
"How can we trust these savages? What if they want to eat us or do something even worse? They scare me..."
"Well, it's either them or the jungle, Mum."
"I guess you are right," Adelaide sighed nervously. "I'm so hungry. What is that?"
She pointed to some green scraps of leather on the ground in the hut. They looked like rags made from vines, ropes, feathers, and something like skin.
"I think it's clothing."
"I'm not wearing this," Adelaide replied, holding up the "clothing."
"You can't walk around in that," he gently touched her rags, which was the last straw.
Her ragged dress finally peeled off. His mother's breasts appeared in front of him in a dim hut's light. Her large nipples were dark purple and hard with small pink aureoles around them that faded into pale milky-light skin, soft as baby skin. Veins diverged along the skin, and there were stretch marks around the nipples in some areas with dry skin. The breasts were full, for sure, soft, big and juicy. Even in this dim dark light her breasts were magnificent.
It all happened so fast that he didn't know what to say or do. When was the last time he saw Mum's breasts? When he was still a baby? Could this be the same breasts she'd talked about on the boat, the breast he'd loved so much as a child? No wonder his first words were "mommy," "breast" and "milk."
"Wow," Caylan said.
"CAYLAN?! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" Adelaide blushed and covered her breasts with her hands. Pieces of the dress still covered her lower parts.
"Sorry, it fell on its own!"
Her hands could hardly cover all the flesh of her breasts, along with the nipples. Her face reflected the utter horror of her son seeing her breasts. Her body was covered with goosebumps, whether from the cold or the horror. Adelaide's face turned pale.
"Get out!" Her trembling lips spoke.
Caylan hurried outside, trying to pull himself together. He was breathing heavily, his chest tightened with pain as he looked around. There was such a strange feeling...
He sat down on a fallen tree not far from the hut.
He could still see it.
Mum's breasts, her nipples that he had suckled as a child. "I should be disgusted by the sight of my mother's breasts, but I don't feel disgusted, I feel..."
He lowered his head and realized his cock hardened just a bit. His cheeks flooded with thick color. "Why am I... So weird."
A word was rolling on his tongue, a word that had hidden itself in the recesses of his mind.
"Consanguinity. The worst sin ever." Caylan looked around, everything that had happened suddenly crashing down on him. "What am I doing? My life is going to shit, my home is overrun, my sisters and father are probably dead, and I'm thinking about my mother's breasts. How am I going to look in her eyes now?"
He blinked and rubbed his eyes, seeing her nipples in front of him again.
"Mum looked so shocked, I should be protecting and caring for her, not making her worry even more. First the kiss attempt on the boat, now this. I have to make things right."
He headed back to the hut with a clear intention to make things right and apologize. "Mum? You can't stay in there all day."
Caylan stepped inside, spotting Adelaide sitting in the darkness, wrapped in the cloak they had used to cover themselves in the boat. Only her head peeked out. His mother was staring at the floor, occasionally sniffing.
"You weren't supposed to see my breasts," she said softly.
"Is that what you care about right now? Your breasts? I'm your son, there's nothing wrong with that. It was a pure accident, it wasn't your fault in any way, and I've already forgotten even what your breasts look like."
"You did?" She looked at him. "That's even a little sad; I thought you'd never forget them, especially since you loved it so much as a kid."
"Well, yeah... I mean, no.... I mean, yes. You said yourself that my first words were 'mommy' and 'milk' and your breasts...they're beautiful and..."
"Stop talking." Adelaide suppressed a laugh. She was feeling a bit better. "Stop talking before I get even madder. You still have to learn how to talk to girls and discuss these things. You'd better help me put on this stupid clothing."
With a frustrated sigh, she lifted herself up and turned her back to him. In one smooth motion, she threw off the cloak.
Right in front of Caylan sat Adelaide with her pale milky beautiful back bare. He swallowed hard, feeling his nerves tighten as he stepped closer. Adelaide pulled a garment over her breasts.
"You've always kept your body hidden from me... and now I've seen so much." His voice was quiet. "You have a beautiful, delicate back, Mum." For a while, Caylan just gently touched her skin. His touch lingered over the scars, the faded stripes, and the small freckles. There was something intriguing about it, and something quite mesmerizing in his mother's imperfections. "Wow..."
"Caylan." Adelaide half-turned her head. "It's not the time and not the place. Stop whatever you are doing."
"Yeah, yeah, sorry, Mum." He muttered, starting to tie a rope around her back. "You have amazing breasts, you know? So sweet and big, and they nurtured me. Milky white with pink glorious nipples."
"Gosh, Caylan, that sounds so inappropriate, even though I know you don't mean anything by it. You can't talk about it like that."
Caylan didn't listen. "And you're probably right--I'll never get over them. Guess it's all tied to my childhood.I love you, Mum."
"And I love you, dear."
He bent down sharply and kissed her cheek. He didn't want to let her go and his kiss was much stronger than the usual little peck between mother and son. It was a fervent kiss, so close to her mother's lips.
Her cheek flushed and grew warm, her heart raced. She turned to him, fuming with anger.
"Caylan! What's going on with you? We are not in the castle, but I'm still your mother. And you should treat me like your mother. Don't forget how you must behave around me and speak in my presence," she said as she stood up.
"Sorry, Mum."
Her new green tribe suit made of vines, fur, and ropes looked stunning on her. It covered her nipples and most of her breasts, but the other half was completely exposed. And Caylan couldn't resist the opportunity to glance at her boobs.
"Leave me alone. I want to put on the rest of my clothes."
=========
When evening arrived, Caylan and Adelaide were invited to dine and were seated next to the Chief.
"We are grateful for your hospitality," Adelaide bowed to Chief Ranarelci and sat down. "Alister, my husband, the king, will repay you as soon as we get our home back."
Chief Ranarelci continued to remain silently inscrutable. Finally, some food was brought, and he and his mother were able to satisfy their hunger. They sat by the hearth, dressed in their new outfits, but everyone around them looked at them as curiosities, like unknown beings who arrived from across the sea. That was indeed what they were.
Caylan kept glancing at Adelaide, captivated by the subtle shift of her breasts with each movement of her hands, how she ate, consuming the food, he slight flex of muscles along her neck. Her ample, rounded curves swayed gently as she leaned forward to take a bite of meat, juices trickling down her mouth and hands, slipping right onto her boobs, seeping beneath the pieces of green fabric. She likely still smelled of sweat.
Seeing her body so exposed and bare was a novelty; in the castle, she always dressed conservatively and modestly. Only during drawing sessions did she wear delicate, half-transparent dresses that playfully stirred his imagination.
He swallowed as he noticed Ranarelci smiling at him. She probably noticed where he was looking at.
"May I ask?" Caylan set aside the food and picked up a small stick from the ground, drawing symbols in the dirt. "How big is your island? Our kingdom is here." He drew a small leaf. "We sailed by the guiding star and ended up... I don't know where we ended up. How big is this place?"
Ranarelci looked at him with absolute incomprehension.
"Alright, what's in every direction? How far have you ever gone? Down? Up? Are there any other kingdoms...?" He drew a line up and down when suddenly a hunter walked right over the drawing, deliberately destroying the entire map. It was Chief's son again, with a bone in his nose.
Caylan grunted. "Hey, I'm trying to do what you want and leave!"
