Kaboom! Ch. 07
Writing Comments and Trigger Warnings: This is the seventh and finale chapter of Kaboom! If you have not read the past chapters then you will be very, very lost.
Unlike the other chapters, this one is action and drama focused. I know the sex scenes in the Kaboom series are very much on the hyper and extreme side, so a lot of readers were likely expecting for Chapter 7 to try and top the rest. That's not really the case. Plot wise the only way a detailed sex scene could have worked well in this chapter is if it was after the main plot was resolved and to be honest then that would have just been padding to me. I always kind of knew this story would end in this way, with a fight scene out of left field, and to be honest I've always loved books and films that try to blend different genres together. To me an action/horror or a romantic/sci-fi is always a lot more interesting because it takes a lot more skill to pull off. So if anything ending this with an emotional driven beat after an action set piece just made me want to write this story all the more. Plus, it's a superhero story, it should end in an epic way.
I have decided to still put this chapter in Sci-fi & Fantasy because there is still a sexual undercurrent throughout this chapter, even if it doesn't have a pay off per say.
Now even though this chapter is a bit lighter on the smut, it's still a Kaboom chapter so there is still a lot of kinks it plays off of. This chapter touches heavily on incest, losing one self and concept of self due to sexual pleasure, there is a bit of violence in the action scenes and a few characters get seriously harmed or killed. Also some of the characters have hit on hard times so it may feel pretty down beat. Things get serious because for the very first time Kaboom is going to be trying to save the world instead of wrecking it. With all that in mind I hope you enjoy the exciting conclusion of Kaboom!

It was raining outside. Not a harsh storm by any means, just a soft drizzle, but that seemed to always be the case now. This was the fourth day in a row like this. Dark skies and cold winds, you didn't want to go outside. It rained when Kaboom was sad, that's how her powers worked. You can't blame me for telling myself that. My life didn't really get any better after she fired me.
At this point the only work given to me was writing doomsday prep articles. It was an odd kind of shift that happened over the years after Kaboom took power and was allowed to do whatever she wanted. First superheroes were outlawed, then the world just did whatever it wanted, people just did whatever they wanted. Then someone started a string of building fires. That became the cool new thing at that point, and hey, since Kaboom could do whatever she wanted, why wasn't that okay? After that things really started falling apart and the law systems by this point was just to overwhelmed to do anything, but it was far more like they just didn't care. Now people were all just sure the world was ending.
Schools were starting to shut down; people weren't working anymore. I still was, I knew the world would keep chugging along, it always did. So I was writing up articles about getting ready for the end of all things. The kinds of food you should get, how to make a good enough bunker, that kind of stuff. It was all very popular. People ate it up and it paid well enough. Ya, don't tell me about how this only makes things worse, that it just feeds the cycle. I still need to eat.
"Fuck," I said to myself as I finished drying the last plate in the sink. I wished I drank. Life would be a lot easier if I did. Last time I did was with the wine Kaboom bought me.
Nothing had happened for me since I parted from her, nothing really of note. I was still writing arguably slop content for a breaking world, but I saw less of a point in it now. I was just moving along, paycheque to paycheque. At some point I would make enough to quit, I would save up well enough to just get in my bed, close my eyes, and sleep for a fucking year. By the time I woke up the world would have burned itself out. This was my mantra now to keep on going.
The radio was on; I played it while I did the dishes. I used to find house work relaxing. Oddly it used to be a highlight of my work week, it wasn't anymore. I went to turn the radio off, but then his voice came on.
"We apologize for interrupting this broadcast. That would be Member One's doing; he is quite skilled in dealing with alien technology. I, I am member three and I will not be taking much of your time. You call us The Infinite. We have come to save you from your world threat. From this 'Kaboom'," the radio said in-between touches of static.
I then turned the thing up. It was more then loud enough, but I turned it up anyways.
"We understand your world has been dealing with this danger for years now, and we greatly apologize that we couldn't save you sooner when you first needed it. You have our sympathy. But, the dark times are almost behind you now. There has never been a threat we couldn't deal with. It had been noted though by Member One that this will be by far our most difficult challenge we have faced given on the information provided. Indeed there is a 12.9% chance that when we win one of our members will be seriously injured. That is according to the numbers Member One has calculated," the radio droned on.
"As such, due to this high cost, and due to our needs, we will sadly need payment. I'm sure you understand and you, given what has happened to you all so far, will see this payment as well worth it. We will be collecting seventy-five precent of your water supplies, primarily fresh if possible," and then there was a long silence.
And then I just started laughing. So we were all going to be saved from this current world and then all sea life would die off from The Infinite taking almost all the planets water. Humanity, us, would be pretty quick to fallow. Seventy-five precent of water? How did that even make sense? How was that saving any of us at all? It was a sick joke that was a fitting capper to all the sick jokes. I just kept laughing, and laughing, and then I was crying. And then I was picking up the radio and smashing it down on the floor. Then I was stomping at what was left of the thing. Luckily before I did all of that The Infinite said where their ship would be landing. I was done with this shit. I should have been done with it a long time ago, but I was done with it now.
I went and grabbed a hammer from the basement. It was the sturdiest weapon I had on me. Then I went out to my car. It was a bit of a drive, but I was headed straight for Kaboom's home. This was all ending now.
Kaboom
Kaboom
A school, one of them Christian schools with a church right next to it, stuck in a very small town. Not a massive city full of endless fans of mine, or an empty area so if I transformed into my skyscraper form I would have plenty of room to get around. The place was kind of the worst of all worlds and maybe that was the point. This was where The Infinite said they would be showing up, so I had to give them a proper welcoming.
It was a Monday, but that didn't matter, this school was closed down, a lot of schools had. People were all moaning and groaning about the end of the world. It wasn't like I caused the fires that were spread around or that very nasty riot that broke out. That was on their hands. Heck, my numbers on youtube were still dipping so it wasn't like I even had my old influence. I posted a video a week ago that was only nine hundred K right now in likes, ya, it's ridiculous.
Still I had fans. The school buses had been pushed out and repositioned to form into what was almost like a wall around the front of the school. Sitting on top of the buses were several small groups of people, one holding a sign saying 'Kaboom, I'll give you my ass if you save us,' Ya, I don't know what Kaboom she was talking about, she wasn't giving me anything after this was over, I was just taking it.
More people were behind the buses, and others were arriving, unable to see anything. There were to many buses in their way and to many people. I heard some rock music being played, seemed to be a personal list of all my faves. My true fans were here, supporting me the best they could.
The fans, well, they really couldn't get any closer than they were. I found that out the moment I passed one of the buses making the wall. I walked out passed them, my new cameraman that I got last week staying behind. He was at least getting nice shots of my body as I walked into battle, though he wasn't zooming in on my ass, amateur. I had been running the world for six years now, but I still looked just like I did when I first made my mark by fucking Downpour. I don't age, my healing and inability to die preventing such things.
As I entered the area, passed the line of buses, I collapsed, falling like a paper doll. The crowed went silent for a moment. It was like a house was pressing down on me, I couldn't see anything, but that's what it was like. I put a hand forward and started crawling. I'm sure if I was like anyone else my rib bones would be snapping right now. I stayed intact though as I pulled forward. After crawling till I could reach the grass at the front of the school I found I was able to get back up.
One of them, one of The Infinite, could manipulate gravity. There was almost like a forcefield of intense force pulling you down around this place preventing people from entering. Impressive, but I could handle it. There ship was behind the school, I was getting close, might as well keep pressing on. As I walked along the side of the building someone came into view.
She looked like she was smack dab in her mid twenties and was quite striking. Heck, she was even scantily clad, almost like they wanted me to have some fun with her. Maybe though they didn't fully know how my powers worked, or they were just really fucking dumb.
Dark purple stockings covered her legs with high heel platform shoes that matched. The stockings were slightly see-through showing off her skin underneath. Of course the fact that she was just wearing a set of bra and panties under a jacket also showed off her skin a lot. The panties were a pitch black, the bra a bright white, the straps on both of them a dark grey. The jacket, it was a matching purple to her stockings. Said jacket was far to small, only covering about half of her breasts, which seemed to heave a bit with every step. She was on the busty side; not as big as me, but still, pretty busty. It was quite the look, as was her body.
Her skin was a light peach white, looking like the sun hardly touched her, but her hands, arms and legs were jet black, covered in soft, dark, fur. Yes, she wasn't human, obviously, The Infiniti came from outer space after all. Her other alien aspects were her eyes and the hair. The rest looked normal, well, she clearly looked like a supermodel, but normal enough.
Her eyes, well she didn't have any. They were just black holes like I was looking into a skull, though I still knew she could see me. Her hair, it was puffed up at the top almost like she had two wolflike ears made out of it, like she was right out of an anime. The hair was a bright red and it flowed wildly down her back. Given how the hair bunched at the back she could have had a tail, but I couldn't tell.
"Well, you're for sure not what I was expecting, but I'm sure not bothered. You honestly think you can take me?" I asked.
She nodded. "Not by myself, but I'm not the only one here," she responded, she seemed confident and sly.
"We'll see. Time to have a little fun," I said and my body lifted up by a foot, I was already growing, can't blame me, she was cute.
"Oh, you transform, I do too!" she said with glee and then I realized how this fight would actually go.
A black fog seemed to explode out around her, spewing out of the hair on her arms and legs, covering her fully, blocking out all view. It surrounded me in a pure darkness. Then something hit me, a paw, and I was sent flying. I went right into the gravity wall, right where I started, and got smacked down instantly by it. I glanced up to see my new opponent.
Walking out of the black mist came to be what looked like a fox, only a lot bigger. Its legs were a dark black unlike the rest of its red body. They were long and extremely slender, the thing almost seeming giraffe like in how slim they were and tall they made it. They lifted it up so it was a good twenty-six feet tall, bigger than some two-story buildings. Oh and the thing had three heads, all with no eyes in it to see, just hallowed out and dark eye sockets like the original being.
The thing moved over to me as I pulled myself back onto the grass and then one of its mouths opened wide and fire was blasting forth from it like it was a fucking flamethrower. My skin turned read, my clothing was singed, the heat was intense, beyond that, but I couldn't burn easy. I'm sure anyone else would be dead by now. This though was pissing me off.
Blade like bones shot out along my shoulders and a really nasty looking one burst out of the back of my glove on my right hand. I jumped up and then dashed over, smacking one of the beast's legs. It fell over instantly and then I punched it's left head hard the moment it tried to swing around and bight at me. The bone on the back of my hand had drawn blood from the creature and I breathed heavily. It looked like it was down for the count now. It was breathing, but there was a lot of red. Then I was hit from behind.
A gravitational blast, much like what was surrounding the school, smacked into me and sent me right back at the force wall, causing me again to collapses to the ground.
"Good enough Member Two, we will keep her in check from here," a man said walking into view. His voice was quite clearly Member Three from the broadcast earlier. I heard him on my big screen, cutting over my streaming subscription, replacing it with just a black screen.
It looked like he was made out of white stone with hallowed out black eyes, much like Member Two's. Other then his stone like body he seemed human enough, though he was wearing a spacesuit you would see from an old fifties sci-fi movie. He cranked some kind of dial on it and the gravitational wall smacking me down became even heavier. It was clear the suit was making this effect.
"Not to impressive so far. The people of this world really are a pathetic lot," he said, smiling.
A little bright spark of fire seemed to come out of nowhere and then moved on its own accord. It started darting around and shooting out small little bits of flame that smacked against my skin as I rested helplessly. This firefly must have been member Number Four.
I couldn't move at this point, the force on my body was too heavy. Was this it? Would they beat me this easily? I hadn't even met all of them yet. Only really hurt the one, and I wasn't sure how much. No, to fail now would have been a sad joke; taken down by rejected Mortal Kombat characters, fuck that shit.
I remembered back, back to before I knew my powers, back to when I was just a kid, back to my shitty family, back to them walking all over me, my mom smacking me if I ever talked back. There was a reason I liked fixing cars and sometimes people. I could never fix my own shitty life. Heck, I never even wanted to remember what my name back then was. They hated me, my mom would just say that sometimes, all the time, how much she hated me. Good for her cause I hate all of them. And no superhero ever showed up to save me so fuck them too and fuck these new assholes.
I stood up, my strength growing. There was to much rage in me now for this gravitational field to keep me down. They did not get who they were fucking with.
"Now that's impressive," Number Three said.
And at that a lightning bolt shot out from the roof of the school, striking me right in the head. Some kind of mechanical creature was standing on the school now, looked like a robotic centipede. I wasn't fully registering them all now though, I was far to upset.
Number Three started turning up the dial on his suit some more, increasing the gravitational force. I didn't fucking care, I walked forward.
"That's three times the weight of the planet you're standing on!?" Member three screamed out.
"So?" I said back.
I walked out of the field and onto the grass, only to have him lift up his hands and blast me back into it. The firefly kept peppering me with little fire flakes and I was struck by another lightning bolt. Member Three turned his dial up further. The gravitational walls around the school broke down as all the energy was shifted onto me. Anyone could walk in closer now, but nobody was dumb enough to try anything. My fan club, everyone behind the school buses, were screaming for me to keep going. The rock music was put on full blast by them. Rock You Like A Hurricane mother fucker. I kept pressing forward, picking myself back up and moving ahead. I wasn't done being pissed off at these fuckers yet.
I was blasted back, always was, by the power of that suit, a lightning bolt fallowing it from the robotic centipede and then a few darts of fire. The massive three headed fox, they were getting back up now, lifting themselves up off the ground. The wound that I had given to the one head was healing now, drifting away.
"That's nine times the weight of this current planet. Nothing should be strong enough to be able to lift themselves back up against that! It doesn't make any sense!" Number Three complained.
And then one more member of The Infinite walked into view. It legit looked like a fucking T-Rex packing miniguns, the massive circular spinning barrels from all the old eighties action movies, for hands. He was covered in red feathers and spoke perfect English, because of course he did.
"Just keep turning it up," the new member pointed out.
"Can't. If I go any higher, I can't hold the gravitational field back. The shields on it will snap and then we will all be sucked in, forming a black hole and killing the planet," Member Three pointed out.
"Then get out of my way," Member, what number were we at now? I had lost count, stood forth and started shooting with their miniguns, full force.
They couldn't puncture me, but I wasn't getting any closer to them and then it dawned on me, I couldn't win this thing. There was to many of them, they were to strong, they were to smart. I was completely over powered now. I wasn't angry anymore; I tried to grasp onto it, tried to hold tight, but I just couldn't. I got scared, it started to sink in how things were actually going and I got terrified.
I fell down instantly, unable to move, all my strength gone. I was completely powerless, landing on the ground, my body going numb. My bone like horns going back into my body. The t-rex stopped firing.
"What happened?" they asked. "Did we pull some kind of off switch on her?"
"She's scared... What were we told, her powers shift with how she feels right. So like, her being scared makes her helpless?" Member Three put the pieces together.
"And the people of this world were never able to beat her?" the feathered beast asked.
"I guess they just gave up before they realized her weak spot. Fuck, we won! Pack her body up gang."
"Ya, but we still can't kill her."
"Doesn't matter. We'll stuff her in the ship and then toss her out into that star close by to here, they call it the Sun right? I don't think she can fly so she'll be forever trapped in the thing, burning alive, unable to get out. She would be there forever. Technically dead is good enough as being actually dead," Member Three declared. He turned off the gravitational field and saw to picking me up, I still couldn't move, I really was going to fail, there was nothing I could do.
