Star Trek - Synthetic Kisses Ch. 04

He kept looking at me, I realized, and glanced over at him for the fourth time since I took my station at the conn. I felt my cheeks blush to jade, smiled shyly and looked back down at my panel.

I hadn't felt this giddy about a man in ages. Even when I went into heat aboard the Iroquois, it was nothing like this, and I thought I was undoubtedly in love with Lt. Jasper. My first heat. I was told it would be the strongest heat of my life, and I would never feel that way about any other man than I did with Lt. Jasper.

I know now that was a damned lie. Being so close to him with the lights turned low for the night watch, the stars streaking by us in blurs as we traveled at warp speed, all I could think about was his mouth on mine and my body pressed against his.

"Would you find it appropriate if I were to ask you some questions about your past?" Data asked, breaking the silence aboard the nearly abandoned bridge.

"You can ask me anything," I said and gave him an inviting smile.

"I am curious about your life aboard the Iroquois. It has been in service with the Federation for 35 years. And you had said that you were born aboard that starship. What was it like for you?"

"Loaded question," I said with a sigh.

"Inquiry: How can a question be 'loaded'?" He was looking at me curiously and ready to learn. I almost laughed at his innocent expression.

"It means pretty much just that. It's a heavy question. Heavy in the sense that it carries emotional weight."

"If you are not comfortable with this topic, we can discuss other things, like your favorite hobbies or what planet you like to spend your shore time on."

I shook my head. "No, Data. It's okay. I would love to talk about my experiences aboard the Iroquois. She is an amazing starship. Has seen a lot of the galaxy."

"There are not as many families aboard the Iroquois as there are on the Enterprise. Did you have many children to play with?"

"See, that's how this is a loaded question... There were only two other girls on the ship, and I was star systems apart from those girls. They were busy playing dress-up in the holodeck as I was crawling through the Jefferies tubes despite my father telling me not to."

I chuckled a little at the memory of my father, the captain, scolding me in engineering after one of the officers pulled me from my hiding spot.

"You did not like to follow the rules," Data observed as he adjusted our heading on his conn, not looking at me.

"Hmm. I guess I didn't. I wanted to know where those tubes led. Once I found the best spots where I could look into the places that adults spent their day, I couldn't stop going. It was fun to watch everyone working on the warp drive, and I loved watching my father captain the ship. Children are not allowed on the bridge, but that way, I could be there but not be in the way."

"You were curious about your starship and how it functioned."

"Yes. I love starships. They are amazing vessels, and Starfleet has some real beauties. I'm not as skilled with the internal workings of the warp drive as you or La Forge, but I absorbed a lot watching our crew make repairs and keep us up and running in the face of danger. What about you, Data. You basically grew up on a starship yourself, yeah?"

"After Starfleet discovered me on Omicron Theta, I decided to join the Federation and served aboard the USS Trieste in 41'"

"And then you transferred to the Enterprise in 64? You were on the Trieste for a long time."

"I am an android and cannot age. Therefore, I do not have an understanding of what you consider a 'long time,' but it was a significant amount of time to learn how to be a commanding officer. And to be more... human."

"Was it hard? Being the first and only android in Starfleet?"

"If you are asking if it was challenging for me to advance in Starfleet due to my being an android, I have been an exemplarity officer. I am better than humans at some tasks."

"Data, you don't need to try and impress me," I said with a giggle.

His eyebrows furrowed together, and he cocked his head to the side in that cute little android way that he does when thinking.

"I did not intend to awe you. I am simply stating a fact."

I laughed. "Well, you awed me even if you weren't intending to."

We were quiet for a moment--our attention on monitoring the navigation and sensors of the ship.

"Kannara, what did you mean by the question then?" Data broke the silence.

My eyes were heavy as the peaceful drone of warp drive was lulling me to sleep.

I perked up at his question and gave a big yawn before replying, "I was just wondering if people were giving you a hard time. Disrespecting you and your position. Like Hobson aboard the Sutherland treated you even though you captained that ship."

"It is an inconvenience when people act with xenophobia, but I do not have emotions. Their opinions do not harm me."

"I wish we were all so lucky," I said, and another yawn escaped me.

"You should retire to your quarters. I appreciate you wanting to spend time in my company, but you need rest, and I can manage the night watch on my own."

"Is that an order, Commander?" I teased.

Data's eyes widened as if I had said something unfathomable, and I smiled a little at how much emotion this emotionless android was capable of expressing through his features.

"It was a request," he clarified.

"I am tired. Today has been an... Interesting day," I said and pushed the conn away from me so I could stand.

I leaned in closer to Data on my way by him and up to the turbolift. I hesitated and then leaned in to give him a whisper of a kiss on his cheek. Before I could clear the back of his chair and head up the ramp, Data's fingers brushed over the back of my hand.

"Kannara, wait," he said. I stopped giving him a questioning look. "Would you accept my company in the morning at 08:00 hours?"

"I would love to. Where?"

"I'll come to your quarters."

I looked around to make sure the bridge was empty and then leaned around the back of his chair to kiss him. He hesitated but then relaxed his lips.

"Good night, Data," I whispered against his lips.

"Sleep well," Data said, his eyes dropping to my mouth and back up to my eyes as I backed away.

I tossed and turned for almost an hour. The symptoms of an unbonded heat were more than annoying they could be painful. My pussy was aching with emptiness as it longed from the fantastic length of Lt. Commander Data.

I thought about his fingers plunging into me and the orgasm he gave for no reason other than because I wanted it. I knew he had no longing for sexual encounters. He was not capable of them. Yet, he seemed to enjoy it. Surely that must mean something. I was honestly surprised he could ejaculate. He was not kidding when he said he was "fully functional."

My cunt clenched in anger as my mind raced of thoughts of Data's mouth on my skin, his fingers deep inside me -- Oh, those skilled fingers! He knew exactly where to touch me, how fast and how slow.

Before I knew it, my hand was down the front of my panties, rubbing tight little circles around my hardening clitoris. Visions of this afternoon replayed in my head.

I slept almost naked, save for my panties. The nearly insatiable sex drive of the Orion meant a lot of wet dreams, and I found that I would be slick in the morning, my juices coating my inner thighs as a result of my lucid dreamscape. So, I kept my panties on when I slept to try and avoid unconscious touching. But I never constricted my breasts. I love the feeling of a clean sheet against my nipples...

My mind wandered to Data's gentle hands-on my hardening buds. His kisses and ass grabs were so rough and firm, but he was careful when he played with my nipples. I shuddered at the thought of him sucking one hard into his mouth.

Welp, there was no way I was going to sleep without an orgasm! I reached under the bed to grab a small box stashed there. I had brought some of my favorite toys with me for this away mission from the Iroquois. I cannot go without a cock-induced orgasm for long. As I am not about to bed randoms from any planet, starbase or starship, I chose the safety of my bedroom and favorite vibrator.

I slipped my panties over my legs and flung them across the room with my foot. I turned the toy on a low setting and messaged my thigh with it as I made my way down to my eager cunt.

I rubbed my toy along my sensitive parts, thinking about Data kneeling between my thighs and rubbing the tip of his cock over my clit, making it slick with his precum. My pussy dripped at the image, and I parted my pussy lips and buried my toy in a slow but steady motion.

I sat up on my elbows as I plunged my toy in and out of me at a quickening pace. My pussy made a wet sound as I worked at the toy and tugged at my nipples.

I got very wet at the thought of Data looking down at me as he drove his cock inside. I imagined that his face would be perfectly neutral as he was balls deep. I ran my free hand down my stomach and over the tuft of hair on my mound to rub my clit as I worked my toy. I thought about Data's mouth on mine. The feel of his tongue tangled against my own.

"Stars, Data!" I gasped as my orgasm warped through me.

I sat back into my pillows and watched the stars streamed out my window until the darkness and peace settled into me, and I drifted off to sleep.

***

The faint call of birds woke me from my sleep. Odd to hear birds. Unless you are in the holodeck, there was never the sound of birdsong aboard a starship. I snapped my eyes open and blinked at the harsh light of the sun glaring down at me. Were we in orbit around Kuppam IV already?

No... Not in orbit. I wasn't on the Enterprise anymore. I was planetside!

I looked down at my body. I was lying in a bed of fern-type flora. And I was in uniform? Well, I suppose that was preferable to being naked, but when did I get into my uniform and where was I?

I squinted up toward the sun. I had spent such little time planetside in the recent weeks that it felt so painful being exposed to a star through the atmosphere of a world. That's when I noticed the breathtaking curtain of color that ribboned the sky. Rings? This was Kuppam IV after all. But how? We were days away.

I stood up, brushed my uniform of soil and took in my surroundings. Kuppam IV had diverse flora and fauna, but it only had a population of roughly 15,600 people. They were scattered throughout the region.

I was close to a trail that cut through the trees. Animals or people could be using it for travel. This population still had rudimentary travel capabilities and often used game trails through valleys and across plains.

I stepped onto the trail and looked in either direction. This was hopeless! I needed to find my team.

I hit my communicator, "Kannara to the Enterprise." No response. I tapped the emblem again. "Kannara to the Iroquois? Can anyone hear me?"

Nothing but the forest called back to me.

"Well, this is just absolute pulsar," I said to the trees.

I looked at the sky and took in the faint outline of Kuppam's only moon as it shared orbit along the outermost region of the rings. I noted the direction of the star and estimated that it was early morning and found true north.

"Alright, if I am on Kuppam, I am probably near Niko's settlement," I said, thinking out loud. "The mountain region, the rings, the sun... I should take the trail headed east."

I set off at a jog, my feet falling onto the damp pathway in a steady beat. I kept my eye on the trail, not knowing the terrain and not wanting to fall and sprain my ankle. But something was off. The ground was moving entirely too quickly for my pace, and I was surefooted despite the unfamiliar trail and the speed I was jogging.

Before I could think more about it, I cleared the trees and came to a stop. I was in a small meadow that sang the song of running water as a creek cut through the forest, creating a bluff with its once mightier current.

Voices could be heard nearby, and I almost cried out to it, happy that people were near. But the intuition that my human half blessed me with sounded an alarm. I crouched in the foliage and made my way up the embankment, following the voices.

I rounded the contour of the stream and stopped dead, putting my hand over my mouth to keep the gasp from escaping me. Resting between the canopy of the trees, straddling the creek, was a starship.

Its design was alien to me. It certainly wasn't Federation. The hull was built with a strange metal that did not glint in the sunlight. It was more like a mirror, reflecting the forest and the sky. But I could still make out that it was a ship and was shaped like a Jaekelopterus from Keto-Enol. The arching tail was even present and pointed like a stinger.

The ship had several large windows spanning much of the hull, a strange feature for a starship. It was both a frightening and beautiful ship.

Voices carried through the air, and I worked my way closer to the semi-clocked vessel. There was movement at the belly of the ship, and I realized that her hatch was open and resting on the shore of the creek.

I squinted as a figure moved down the ramp. She was a tall, elegant figure that did not sway as she descended. She barely moved at all, as if she were levitating.

I could not see her features clearly, but her skin was patterned to remind me of emission nebulae. And was that a third eye in her forehead?

"Those humans cannot be allowed to alter the colony." Her voice was such a high pitch, I barely heard it.

"It's the Federation. They won't intervene in that way to protect their special 'prime directive.'"

That voice sounded awfully familiar...

"Do not be so certain. Those barely evolved apes are capable of great destruction. Ensure that they don't taint my prodigy, Lore."

Lore... Where have I heard that name before?

Before thinking through that question, the two in the ship had become still and quiet. I focused on them and crouched lower. Third-Eye had her hand in the air, indicating to her company to be still.

"What? Did one of the colonists wander upstream?" said Lore.

"We have an intruder, but she is not one of my children," the alien woman's voice sounded like ice.

Her third eye glowed a blinding white light. I raised my hand to shield my eyes from the painful rays as my body felt like it was struck and floating away. I looked down at myself and, to my horror, realized that my body was below me, and that lightness I felt was my consciousness leaving the physical part of my being behind. A bright cord of energy was coming from my chest and anchoring me to my physical self. I tugged desperately at that cord, trying to pull myself back down into my being.

A shadow cast over me. Darkness silhouetted the blinding light. I pulled the last of the cord that tethered me to life and looked into that darkness. Yellow eyes glowed in the black, and an angry sneer that I had never seen on Data's face before glowered down at me.

No... Not Data. This is the one that killed colonies of people. The one that attempted to destroy the Enterprise. The one who enslaved the Borg... This was Lore.

Lore's powerful hands grabbed at my shoulders and shook hard. I opened my mouth to scream, but all I did was choke on air.

"Kannara!" Lore growled.

He shook me again, and my head lolled to the side as the blinding light faded to complete nothingness.
