We have all benefited from these proceeds and we see no reason why you shouldn't also. It likely won't scratch the surface of your losses but we offer you this."

She had one of her prospects pass a cheque to Snake.

"Are you seeking our protection?" Hammer asked.

"Having said that, an agreement that we could come to one another's aid if required would be mutually beneficial," Harlequin took her opportunity.

"I'm happy to agree to all of that in principle. Naturally our own Church will need to ratify and we can let you know in due course."

"Excellent."

"Our second order of business is to acknowledge Tiradora," Harlequin gestured and the woman who'd shot Phoenix stood.

The six of us stood up and faced Harlequin.
