The Holy City of Aslyd.
"There lies our failure. Grant me my dishonorable death as punishment, or permit me to serve Aslyd a while longer," Audir said, kneeling before the black throne. "You know what's coming."
Mauron had hardly blinked throughout the entirety of Audir's retailing of their hunts. He listened to his High Seeker intently, attention never shifting, his grip tight upon the armrests of his throne. Much of the tale had been a repeat of what he had read in Audir's reports, yet he insisted upon hearing the full extent once more. When at last the man spoke of losing the trail of their lost Holy Mother, his jaw was tight enough that he felt it would burst.
No other had been permitted into the chamber. No guard stood between them. If the city knew of their doom, the truth uttered and spread around, all would be lost. Perhaps they were already.
"I promised you a glorious end with honor." Every ounce of The Knowledge Holder's control was required to keep the tremble from his tone. "I promised you a place at The Creator's side in death."
Audir tilted his head. "I failed. Be done with this. Grant me a quick death or let me continue my work."
"Your work has ended." Mauron eyed the painful scars carved across the man's face. Whatever their enemy had taken from him would be nothing compared to what they'd take from the world.
"The hunt has ended. My work remains. You tasked me with purging the threat of the great one's offspring from our world, and I'd prefer to see it done." Audir rose without Mauron's command. The absence of his black spear was yet unfamiliar, sending a throbbing memory through his missing eye. "Execute me dishonorably if you must. Banish me to the forgotten realm in death. I'll accept my fate. Yet permit me to live and I shall begin preparations to defend the city immediately."
Mauron chewed on the inside of his cheek, tasting blood. There was no defense for what approached."The walls of Aslyd have never failed us."
Audir allowed an amused smile, the first in many days. "You granted me the burden of knowledge yourself. I know the cost of my failure."
"You know nothing,"Mauron thought to himself. "If I granted you the full truth, you'd have cut your throat the moment you lost her."
"I know the creatures will spread. I know they'll spreadquickly.Months shall pass, perhaps years before they'll amass the strength required to overrun the city, yet they'll come. I'd see us arm every citizen of Aslyd that can carry a spear. I'd see them train, organize, and prepare to stand against the horde when it seeks us out. I'd see us forge an army."
"It won't stop the flood," The Knowledge Holder thought. "Aslyd has never had an army. No one has."
Visions of the past had been whispered into the minds of previous Knowledge Holders since the founding of Aslyd. Echoes of battles raged in the past, upon another land, upon another world beyond their universe, a warning. They had seen spears against spears, sharp metal blades against others, and strange objects that flung beams of blinding light from the hands of bizarre pale creatures without tails nor antennae. All knew of such tales. All knew of war, of armies, of their Creator's warnings. None but Aslyd had the means to amass such a force, and no need for more than small groups of hunters had ever arisen, safe behind their colossal walls. If The Creator could hear Audir's words now, or knew of Mauron's betrayal...
"Grant me your approval and I shall forge the first army this world has ever seen." Audir's deadly eye offered a piercing gaze, demanding no less than their future or his death.
Mauron wanted to scream. He wanted to scurry away and hold Sarui tightly until their doom arrived. There was no escaping their fate. The memory of a blinding flash of light above the city in his visions ran through his head, unavoidable. In the end, however, he granted the man a dignified nod, presenting his calmest smile. "So be it. We have little to lose by arming the population, and everything to lose by not. Grant me an army worthy of Aslyd, High Seeker Audir."
A firm nod was the one-eyed man's only response.
"Forgive me, Aslyd. I tried to save you,"Mauron thought to himself.
When he was dismissed, Audir marched from the chamber with strides of purpose, his aims clear. As he stepped from the entrance of the ziggurat, he was met with the presence of the two young women he had left outside.
"You live, father," Pirmi greeted him coldly. Tall and svelte, she appeared to be a copy of her twin, long hair cut close to her scalp on both sides of her head.
"Our condolences. The Knowledge Holder is a fool for denying you the right to join The Creator's side," Rafi said as she embraced him, her noticeable breasts round and firm against his chest.
Forcefully parting from his daughter, Audir offered no emotion but a silent determination. "I shall have my rest when my work is done. I've been granted a new purpose."
Rafi gently touched the scars upon his face, frowning. "I'm pleased you'll be here a while longer with us, yet if you plan to continue living, you'll need to tend to your mortal flesh. Come. Let me mend your wounds properly, father."
In the care of his daughters, he permitted them to take his hands, leading him along. The touch of their soft skin was a reminder of the danger looming upon the horizon. Never would he rest until Aslyd was defended. Never would he leave his daughters to face the horde alone. He had failed to end the threat before it began. Never would he fail them again.

Sanctuary of The Mother.
The sound of squirming tentacles echoed off the walls of the vast cave, ever present, unending.
Aifa caressed her swollen belly as she watched Vaecath and Jynae-bal, her pregnancy swiftly nearing its end. She could feel the child squirming inside her womb, writhing tentacles seeking to escape. The sensation sent a strange tickle through her loins as she fought to conceal a moan.
She savored the feeling as well as their new safety. In the months following her seizing of the cave, she and Darmi had made it their home. The uneven floor had naturally divided the massive chamber into several sections connected by shallow steps carved into the stone ground. Walls of vines created makeshift rooms in which to store their steadily increasing supplies, though much of the cave remained open and visible to all around.
Once more the unborn child caressed her insides. Once more she tried to stifle a gasp before deciding to let it loose in a low groan as she caressed her belly. A single mutter of pleasure would hardly be noticed in any case. All around the cave echoes of lust fluttered. She lounged upon a woven hammock strung between the remnants of two cages, now empty.
Erimi rested nearby, arms tied behind her back by a long vine that was fastened to a nearby wooden pole. Despite her freedom from the constricting cage, she remained slumped upon her side. Little remained of the ferocious girl she had been aside from her glare, much of the fight taken from her by the rough handling of tentacles day after day.
Cirui writhed in the grasp of Vaecath's tentacles near the center of the chamber. Moans echoing mindlessly beneath the colossal dome above, her eyes rolled back as black tendrils caressed the swell of her pregnancy with satisfaction, tentacles pumping between her parted legs. Faima was no different, her arms bound above her head by a hanging vine as Vaecath held her thighs apart, pushing deep into her fecund tightness.
Kifi's mind was bound, yet her limbs were free to explore her bred body as Jynae-bal pumped his seed between her legs for the third time in the same hour. She bucked her hips, seizing in an orgasm she could hardly go without, every pulse of pleasure coaxing her addiction.
A mixture of seed from both tentacled beasts leaked from Irima's loins, remnants of the recent ecstasy that had made her scream. Now she served a different master for the moment, bent over, her face buried between Darmi's thighs as her tongue set to work. A hand held the swell of her belly, as if savoring her womb's submission.
Minds lay in ruins. The belly of every female grew round as their pregnancies quickly advanced, their maternal beauty complementing their alluring forms. Black and golden tentacles glided deep into their loins and thoughts, whispers revealing any lingering intentions of escape or betrayal to Aifa long before they could act. Her punishments were swift and severe, reducing five women with hopes, dreams, and ambitions into mere wombs.
She permitted herself to chuckle at the sight. She could almost feel the urges of Vaecath and Jynae-bal, savoring their need to slide into a tight cunny or two. She wanted them to enjoy the harem she had secured, to cumdeepand often into the beauties she had acquired. Running a finger over her labia, she found herself dripping with lust, subtly envious of her children. Her fingers curled as if hoping to wrap around a phantom cock protruding from her groin, finding nothing but air. A quiver ran through her loins. She'd give much to feel the sensation of thrusting into the pregnant bodies on display.
The only Cavari in the cave capable of feeling what she could not remained huddled in his cage. Neglected, a burden, Aifa had little use for Wair. She permitted him a brief freedom from his cage once each day under supervision, as Darmi had insisted, yet he had little use but to watch his daughters moan and swell with tentacled children. To dispose of him would risk reigniting the resistance of her prisoners, and despite the clear hatred in Darmi's gaze whenever she regarded his cage, she had begged Aifa to grant him mercy.
Aifa groaned deeply at the feeling of a powerful flutter in her womb. Clutching at her pregnant swell, she let it pass before another struck her, loins beginning to tingle.
Feeling a soaking wetness between her thighs, she once more ran a finger between her dripping labia. Surprised by the peculiar quantity of her juices, she found a steady flow of liquid oozing from her womanhood. Assessing it, her eyes widened as her fingers began to tingle. She hadn't felt her own juices, but slime.
The child was coming.
"Darmi, to me!" Aifa commanded.
Though granting her mistress a lackadaisical glance as she reveled in Irima's skillful tongue, she snapped to attention when she noticed the viscous liquid pouring from the hammock. Hurrying to her feet, cradling her own pregnancy, she rushed to her mistress's side. "Aifa! Are you...the child...is it-"
Darmi's words were cut off by a groan of her own, holding her stomach. Feeling something beginning to pour down her thighs, tingling her crimson skin, her eyes widened.
"Vaecath! Jynae-bal! Kifi!" Aifa shouted for assistance, feeling the unborn child squirming inside her womb. An intense burst of pleasure forced her onto her back after she tried to sit up, swinging her legs to hang over the side of the hammock.
Vaecath hurried to catch Darmi as she quivered, toppling over with a moan of ecstasy. He cradled her body, pulling her legs apart to prepare for the birth.
They had conceived during the same night, wrapped in each other's embrace. Now their unborn children had chosen the same moment to wiggle free of their mothers. The coincidence unnerved Aifa, highly unlikely, unnatural, yet they both shook regardless.
"The offspring comes at the appropriate moment."
Vaecath's whispers soothed Aifa, her mind tumbling into an abyss of pleasure. She felt tentacles sliding through her vaginal canal. She watched slime pour from Darmi's labia. Where agony should rip through her as the child approached, she felt a deep euphoria gripping her mind instead, squeezing, the movements of the squirming tendrils inside her loins driving her into a consuming climax. She shook, trembling, parted lips offering a choked cry of absolute bliss.
When at last the creature slid free, her body fell limp in the hammock, her mind swirling as she lost consciousness.

"The second piece is born. The Red Vessel serves."
In her dreams, she saw a golden tentacle reaching for her neck. It coiled tightly around her throat. Her hands sought to free her breath, pulling, trying to yank the tendril away. Another emerged from the darkness, the azure shade of a deep ocean. It joined the first, curling, squeezing. Her strength began to falter.
"The Tri-Council requires another."
Choking, she watched a crimson tentacle dance in the distance. Slithering forth, it crept along to join its kin, crimson joining azure and gold. Strangled by all three, she could do nothing to resist. There was no escaping her fate. Vision fading, she was blinded by a flash of light from above. When it too fell to darkness, she saw the face of a strange young woman drifting above her, hair as black as the void, skin pale. Glowing silver eyes regarded her with mercy, a hand reaching down to guide the three tentacles into her grasp.
Breathless, Aifa watched as the woman spread her legs. Black tendrils tipped with glowing crimson poured forth from her loins to consume the world. As she was wrapped in darkness, Aifa slipped into the void.
"Seek Synaalag."
Awaking with gasping breaths, Aifa gripped the woven mat beneath her, panting as she sat up. Alone, she was inside a false room with walls of hanging vines. Emotion welled in her eyes, threatening to destroy her until she felt soft arms wrap around from behind.
"Worry not. You're safe, mistress," Darmi said gently in her ear.
Savoring the embrace for a moment more than she should, Aifa pushed her away, calming herself. "How many days?"
Darmi shook her head with a smile. "Only a few hours this time." She beamed with excitement as she knelt. "There's someone you need to meet."
Watching the girl wave for something to approach, Aifa turned in time to see azure tentacles creeping forth from behind the wall of vines. Her throat tightened instinctually, yet when the creature merely settled between her legs, lounging in her lap, she released a cautious breath as she reached down to caress it.
"His name is-"
"Ayaalag," Aifa answered for her, hearing the same whispers that continued to run through the girl's mind all the same. "I know." After a moment of assessing the newborn's affection, blue tentacles coiling around her thighs, she eyed Darmi with a question. "What of yours?"
Darmi's smile faded subtly, once more offering a summoning wave. "It doesn't...I'm not sure if it..." The creature parted the vines, scurrying to its mother's side. Smaller than Ayaalag, its black tentacles weakly sought her groin, easily held back as she covered her lower lips with a hand. "It doesn't whisper. I...don't know if it has a name, or even a mind. It only seems interested in my...well..."
"A seedling understands. A seedling obeys. Nothing more is required."
The hint of hope flickered across the girl's features, only to recognize Vaecath's whispers. The large beast parted the vines, looming outside as his tentacles prodded at the newborn. Having grown much in their time inside the cave, he was easily larger than the tiny room.
"The first of countless."
Discarding the newborn, he next assessed Ayaalag, black tentacles intertwining with blue.
"The second. The Red Vessel serves."
Aifa could hear the tint of sorrow among his whispers. Unsettled, her misgivings were shattered by another feeling, far in the distance, pulling at her mind. "Vaecath..."
Several reached out, seeking, touching her mind without whispers.
"Old seeds bear fruit. The Red Vessel must harvest."
Aifa thought of the women they had lured from their tribe to ambush, leaving them bred. The pregnancies ended one by one, sending distant echoes of faint bliss that pulsated gently in her mind from afar. A dampness grew between her legs, her fertile body inviting Ayaalag's blue tentacles inside. Lips parting, she quickly pulled the curious tendrils from her loins, covering herself as she concentrated. It had been simple to summon Vaecath, yet then, she knew his mind well. Reaching out across miles upon miles, she could only hope the newborn children of their victims would feel her thoughts. "Come, my children. Find us. Find our sanctuary."
As Ayaalag protested, tiny tentacles trying to force their way inside, Aifa eased onto her back. There was nothing more to do but to wait.

Sanctuary of The Mother.
"You're...ahh..."
The gentle sounds of sleep echoed faintly from the bodies scattered across the ground, arms bound and leashed to poles. Was it night outside the cave? Aifa hardly cared. Her only concern was for the wet tongue between her thighs.
"That's...ahh...yes, just like that," she moaned. Sitting upon Wair's cage, she savored Irima's skill as the young woman lapped expertly between her parted thighs. Kneeling, the prisoner could do little but watch as his daughter pleasured their captor, her pregnant belly touching the bars of his cramped prison. "Ooohh..."
Aifa held Ayaalag to her breasts, allowing the small creature to suckle. Without a mouth or any identifiable feature other than his tiny blue tentacles, he merely teased her nipples as milk dribbled lightly over his tendrils, absorbed by his deep azure surface. "The fluids of your body are but a delicacy. They feed from the echoes of your soul, the ripples of your pleasure, like plants soaking in sunlight," she remembered Audir's words.
She could almost pity Wair. Watching his pregnant daughter lick frantically brought clear agony to his gagged features. As his manhood was unaccustomed to going a day without burying deep inside one or two of his pretty daughters, months of neglect had their effect. An erection began to twitch at the sight despite his hate-filled efforts, the tip dribbling, as if begging to feel the pretty body that had been stolen from his grasp once more. His denial was a cruelty, yet Aifa knew he'd offer no mercy in return had their positions been reversed. She had left him untouched and unharmed. Under his control she'd already carry his child if her throat remained uncut.
Something wet prodded at her back. Turning, she watched as a black tentacle curled around her waist. Slime tingled upon her skin as her flat abdomen was caressed. "Vaecath...ahh...I'm occupied..."
A tentacle crept through the cage below. Wair winced as slime dripped upon his shoulder. Coming up, it glided up her thigh. A third coiled around Irima's neck, pulling her away to kneel submissively, the juices of her mistress running down her chin.
