Wet Heat Pt.06

They left early the next day. The eight of them had breakfast together. Abigail and Cassandra were as friendly and flirtatious as before but Camilla was oddly subdued, further fuelling Jennifer's suspicions.

Then Sebastian had insisted they accept fresh supplies and then they were gone. Just the two of them alone together again on the river.

They didn't talk and the atmosphere was frozen despite the deep heart surrounding them.

Jennifer put on a white shirt over her bikini despite the heat and was determined not to just give herself to Jack. She was more than half sure he'd cheated on her and didn't think she could ever trust him again.

But the hot humid jungle worked it's business and soon her shirt was dripping with sweat, translucent and sticking to her body. By noon it was gone, by three the bikini top had too. She couldn't help but be thrilled that Jack not only noticed but couldn't stop staring at her tits, even if they were nothing on Camilla's.

As the sun set, they gave into their lust despite themselves and fucked on deck as the lush jungle skwarked around them. It wasn't the intense hatefuck of the night before. But there was little love in it. They were like two horny strangers using each other to get themselves off.

He still made her come though. Her body still liked, still craved, his. And as she rode his big dick as the light faded that was all she cared about.

Something had snapped in their relationship though. That was clear. Things would never be the same. Maybe she was being unfair and he had just been out looking for her, but she knew in her heart he had been with Camilla.

If she hadn't been so hopelessly dependent on him, alone and clueless in that vast wilderness, she would have ended it right there. But she was, so she didn't.

And she was still so desperately, desperately horny.

Early the next day, the boat spluttered and stopped working.

"What's up?" Jennifer asked.

"I don't know."

Jack then spent about an hour and a half carefully examining the engine.

"The impeller is cracked."

"Right. Can you fix it?"

"No. There should be a spare one. But there isn't."

"OK, so what does that mean?"

Jennifer could feel herself starting to panic. This was the thing she had been most afraid of on this trip. But, however else she felt about him, Jack was a good man in a crisis.

"We need a new one. I'm sure Sebastian will have one."

"Sebastian?"

"Yes. We can just drift downstream. It will be difficult to manage the steering and it will take longer than getting up here, but it should be manageable."

"OK."

The last thing she wanted was to go back to Sebastian's. To Camilla. But she was sure Jack was right. It was the only thing to do. And it was better than starving to death out here.

A wild thought rushed through her mind that maybe there was a spare impeller, whatever one of those was, and Jack had engineered this to get back to Camilla, but she pushed that thought away.

The going was difficult. The rudder still did something but not much. Whenever they had to navigate fallen trees or sandbanks they were relying on either paddling or pushing off with the long paddles that Jack had insisted they take with them. It was effective but hard work.

Jennifer was sure that the caiman had a hungrier look about them as they laboured downstream.

Eventually though, late afternoon on the second day, Sebastian's came back into view. Vanessa was once again sprawled naked on the deck. She rose to see them drift towards her and once again raised her head to call inside.

"Senhor Sebastião aqueles ingleses malucos estão de volta."

"My friends, my friends," called out Sebastian as he emerged from the house. "I didn't expect to see you again so soon."

Jack quickly explained the situation to him.

"A spare impeller? Yes, I'm sure we do. But I'm afraid we keep it on the boat, well, just in case of emergencies like this one. Henrique has that at the moment and he's still on his trip to Manaus. He should be back in a few days though. And you are of course welcome to stay as long as you like."

So, there was nothing for it but to stay with Sebastian until Henrique returned.

He led them into the same living room, where Camilla, in the same or a very similar dress was still reading Pride and Prejudice. Jennifer, rather bitchily but with some satisfaction noticed she hadn't got much further with it. Then she guilty remembered her own unread Gabriel Garcia Marquez on the boat.

Camilla beamed with sheer delight when she saw them and came bounding up to Jack, just Jack, much as she had before, except this time she took his hands and looked deep in his eyes.

"I'm so glad you're back Jack," she said, as though they were a reuniting couple. Which, Jennifer rather bitterly thought, was probably close to the truth.

That evening had passed much like the previous one. She even made sure to give herself a good seeing to in the bath. She hadn't had sex with Jack since the engine had broken, the journey downriver had been too tense for anything like that and they had been too tired the night before.

She was determined not to give into her horniness with him tonight though. It was one thing, using his body to slake her lust while they were stuck out here on the river and Camilla was just a distant, if unpleasant, memory. It would be humiliating to do it when she was just feet away.

So, she made sure to make herself come good and hard alone to try and at least slightly quell the almost uncontrollable lust constantly churning inside her.

As it was, he showed no interest in her that night anyway. He had talked exclusively to Camilla at dinner and they had whispered and giggled like a couple in love. Even Sebastian had noticed and seemed embarrassed by it, even though he did nothing.

Jennifer was resolved at least not to go for another walk that night and give him another excuse to 'go looking for her' and accidentally end up in Camilla's bed.

So, she just lay there in the hot sweaty night, rage and humiliation and an unbearable longing between her legs all keeping her awake. She hated that she still wanted him. Wanted him inside her, wanted him to take that ache away, even if only for a moment. But regardless of what she wanted, she didn't think he would give it to her.

Their relationship was over. She knew that now. All she wanted was to get that damned impeller, go downriver and go home. And never see Jack again.
