Chapter 12 - From the Dark

Angus

My heart washammering. The last time I had felt this nervous was probably the split-second after Kayla sat down in my classroom for the first time, and we locked eyes, realising for the first time what exactly we had done.

That first time, when it becameveryapparent that she was a student and I was a teacher, at least we'd stumbled into things unintentionally. Every step since then had been slipping down a slippery slope as we just indulged more, and more, andmore.

This, however, was a whole new level. This wasn't a slope at all - this was jumping off a cliff together, and just hoping it wasn't jagged rocks at the bottom.

I'd taken the first shift of driving, as it was a four-hour trip. It was less about distance, and more the fact that once we left the circumference of Glasgow, everything was just backroads and under-maintained single-lane roads that had a habit of clogging themselves up. Walton Gray, as a school, wasn'ttoofar outside Glasgow, but it was still in a small enough town to make basically every road worth taking one that at least grazed the city for a few miles. Still, we managed to get out to the countryside quite quickly, and Kayla and Rebecca kept me and Hannah abreast of what was happening on social media as we travelled.

'It's on the news,' Rebecca said after a quiet patch. 'All the kids ditching school. Apparently there were loads of conversations going on on Snapchat and stuff - people were waiting at bus stops to tell their mates not to go in.'

'And they're all getting tickets?' Hannah asked.

'Not a chance,' I laughed. 'They'll be sneaking in, is my bet.'

'I have like three mates all saying they're gonna break in, even if they get arrested. They don't care - they just love her enough.'

'What's funny is, if this wasplanned,' Kayla said, sounding like she was holding back laughter, 'like, if she just had Glasgow on her tour, this wouldn't happen. It'sjustbecause she's popped up overnight for a special concert or whatever. It's madness.'

'It's marketing,' Hannah said. 'I worked in marketing for a while; never did concerts or anything so exciting, but the whole thing is about making a splash. Getting eyes on your work.'

'Yeah, because Taylor Swift needs the attention,' I chipped in.

Kayla and Rebecca fell into a conversation, and Hannah moved up the minibus to sit next to me, giving me a quick nod of greeting as she buckled in.

'Hey,' she said.

'Hi.'

'So.' She rubbed her eyes, like she was feeling the stress. 'Shouldwe just turn around? Head back?'

'I thought you said that they wanted us to go?' I asked, matching her lowered voice. 'That there was a deposit and everything.'

'They do! And we did! It's just... you and me both know what's going to happen out there. In the wilderness.'

'Hannah-' I said, like I was trying to stem this conversation, but she shook her head.

'No, you listen to me. If we get out there and we end up...you know. With those two girls, in the woods... it could be more than just getting sacked, Angus. We would be branded as, like, kidnappers. Taking two teens out to the woods to have our ways with them?'

I tried to ignore the fact that that sentence sent a thrill through me - a shameful one, but an undeniable one. 'Aye.'

'They would assume we'd colluded,' she said.

'Who's 'they'?'

'You know - work, for one thing. The press, the police.'

'Do you really think that Rebecca and Kayla are going to say anything, Hannah? That they are going to betray us?'

'We're not!' Rebecca yelled from the back of the bus. 'Also - we can hear you! Small bus!'

I laughed. 'Well, there you have it.'

Hannah huffed, and made her way to a seat as Kayla came up, leaning over my shoulder as I drove.

'So,' she said. 'Have your way with me - is that the plan?' I coughed, and tried to focus on the road.

Kayla patted my shoulder, and nothing more, and headed back into the bus without another word.

Kayla

It was about to begin. Five days in the woods - today to Friday. With just us four.

We were all ignoring it, and thinking about it. Quietly, to ourselves. Each and every one of us was thinking about the fact that we were going to set up tents tight and be left in the middle of nowhere, left to our own devices. We all knew we were going to indulge on that most base instinct we wereallholding back.

It was like we were being rewarded, for being so good and clever. For keeping our secretsowell. The universe was giving us the chance toreallysee what it would be like for us to be able to live, out in the open. We could kiss and hold hands, laughing over a fire and then go to bed together.

I swallowed a shiver, listening to Rebecca as she rattled on; we were still getting texts from people at school.

'Frankie's broken up with Will,' Rebecca said, off-hand. 'She says she wants to be single for the concert - just in case she sees someone better.'

'Jesus,' Hannah laughed. 'That girl. I swear, she's been around the school more than the cleaning crew.'

Angus laughed at that, a short snort through his nose, and for a moment things felt awfully...normal. Like this was any other school trip. We were laughing, joking about our friends and people we knew.

The hours passed like that, the road rumbling away as the view through the small windows went from houses to hedges to fields, the sky ever grey and clouded, some of that late-winter/early-spring chill seeping in through the cracks in this minibus as we got hit side-on by stronger wind.

Suddenly, though, we were on a small dirt track with trees on either side, and then we passed under an overhead sign made from half-rotten wood. I couldn't read the first half of it, but saw the wordCAMPon the back half, and realised we were here.

'Wow,' I said, looking out the window at the thick forest around us. 'Trees.'

'Never been this far north,' Rebecca chimed.

'No?' Hannah asked, surprised. 'It's beautiful, guys. Aside from anything else, I hope you appreciate that this week.'

'Shut up,miss,' Rebecca chided, and Hannah blushed a little. With a snap of realisation, I wondered if that's what Rebecca called her in bed, the same way I called AngusSir.

My eyes caught Angus', and I knew he was thinking about the same thing.

Angus

'Welcome!' said a small, stout man as he approached, arms wide, a bushy greying beard jutting out from his chin and small eyes behind half-moon glasses. 'Just you guys on there?'

'Indeed,' I laughed, stepping towards him and shaking his hand.

'Wow - I thought this was a booking for, I reckoned, thirty?'

'We had some cancellations,' I said, and Hannah guffawed behind me.

'Taylor Swift arrived,' she laughed. 'Almost everyone backed out. So, you just have us four.'

'Is that going to cause any issues?' I asked, trying not to sound like I was hoping it would. 'Because we were told by the school, you know, a paid deposit is a paid deposit, you know?'

He nodded, eyes going a little dark. 'Aye, that makes sense. Schools these days, you got no money! Less than us, I reckon - which is impressive! Still, aye, four is fine; two students, yes? Well, I'm Tony, I'll be your guide here, and what I'll do is re-jig the plan for the next week a little. Smaller groups can get through activities a lot faster, so you might find yourself with a bit more downtime than most, but we can talk about those details, yeah?' He was addressing all of us as he spoke, Rebecca and Kayla now standing with me and Hannah in a lazy line, bags over shoulders.

'Yeah, we'll talk it all over,' Hannah said. 'We understand that this is a bit of an upset, you know.'

Tony nodded, and then clapped his hands. 'Well - no need to getupset- let's get you to the woods and we can get started on the first task, picking out your patch!'

Kayla

Tony, who looked something like a cross between Jack Black inJumanjiand an old professor, led us into the woods. The air was cold enough to have me and Rebecca pull our arms against our bodies, trying to keep the warmth in as we walked through the underbrush. It was dry, and each step crunched underfoot, but the chill that flowed through the air was difficult to ignore.

'Now,' Tony said, stopping us in a small clearing between a load of thick trees. 'I understand you brought your own tents, et cetera. What I recommend is finding a spot for your fire, a sort of communal spot - I'll take you through the details of that after lunch - and then a spot for your tents. Who needs help putting something up?'

Me and Kayla put our hands up, while Angus and Hannah seemed more prepared for the events of the morning.

Soon, we all seemed to spring into action, and while obviously the group was a lot smaller than anticipated, that seemed to work in our favour. Me and Rebecca unpacked the tents we had brought, and Tony was effortlessly walking us through how to put them up in a way that meant we would have a comfortable, flat bottom, ensuring the pins were in the ground properly, but also taking us through how to tie the over-hanging canvas to the trees around us for extra coverage. Within an hour, all four of us had up a tent in a sort of semi-circle, tied into the ground and the trees easily and creating a small sort of camp in the corner of the woods. It was clear to see, just by looking, that there was alotmore room for other tents, and figuring that they were equipped to deal with groups up to thirty, that made total sense.

The space before the tents was an obvious spot for a firepit, and while Tony and Angus went back to the minibus to collect the rest of the bags, me, Hannah and Rebecca came together, slightly sheepish looks on our faces.

'So - this is us for the next four nights?' Hannah asked, sounding honestly a little worried.

'I think so,' I said, looking at the four tents. It was funny - each of the tents was basic and normal, and yet you couldtellwhich of us had done each. At the far left was Rebecca's, a soft purple colour with lots of round edges and circles. Next was mine, slightly smaller, grey and blue - in my mind, reflecting my relative tom-boyishness compared to Rebecca. Hannah's was next, browns and yellows, all earthy colours and slightly larger than anyone else's', and at the end was Angus' - light grey and white in places, and maybe somehow the smallest of all of them. A true one-man tent, without any of the bells and whistles.

All of us were sizing them up, the same unspoken thought going through all of us.

Which one would we end up in?

Would we share one?

Would we be... having sex like this? In these tents?

In abstract, it had seemed soobviousthat we would be using this trip as some sort of sex-capade, and yet now we were here, it was like we all shrunk into ourselves.

Angus and Tony returned with the bags, and we dropped those off in our tents to unpack properly later - it was mostly clothes, a couple of creature comforts.

And, in my case, some lube and the butt plug we'd used together before as well. I dropped it inside my tent, zipped it up, and joined the group for our next task.

'Right,' Tony said, a huge grin on his face. 'Who wants to learn how to makefire?'

Angus

We had arrived at a little after twelve, and by the time we had set up the tents and Tony had shown us how to make a fire - the right way to strip bark to turn into a make-shift rope, and making a divot in a plank to spin a stick into, making friction, all of that stuff - it was mid-afternoon, and he stood before us, hat in hand, and made a bit of a face.

'I'll come clean, guys - usually with larger groups, we're doing this for a few more hours, getting everyone set up and lighting fires, all that - but you all are pretty set. You'll forgive me for not having more prepped-'

'No, that's more us than you,' I said, shaking his hand. 'We have some games and school stuff we can crack on with.'

'Aye, okay. Well - I'll head back to the cabin, and come back around five to show you how to set up the over-fire stove. Keep feeding that fire as you go.'

'Do you sleep here?' Kayla asked, appearing behind me. 'Like, at that cabin?'

Tony laughed. 'No, miss! I'll be heading home after you've got food going - but I'm only about a mile away. You have my contact information if needed, and I'll be checking in at about ten tomorrow morning for the first day of rambling!'

Kayla glanced at me, and I ignored what she was getting at, as Tony shook my hand and then simply... left. He walked into the woods, back towards where the cars were parked, and we knew the cabin was waiting for us.

Once he seemed out of earshot, Kayla looked up at me. Then, she looked around the space - at the tents, the woods. No one for ages. Aside from Tony, who wouldn't be back for an hour or so, there was no one formiles.

'Hi,' she said.

'Kayla-' I started, about to tell her off, before Hannah came round from behind a tree.

'Hey - where's Tony?'

'Gone,' Kayla yelled. 'Back at five to help us make food over the fire.'

I watched the realisation hit Hannah as well, the quiet knowledge sinking as Rebecca climbed out of her tent, pulling her hair back into a messy ponytail.

'What?' she asked as we all looked at her.

'We're alone for an hour or so,' I said, sounding a bit stupid.

'Oh,' she said, before locking eyes with Hannah. 'Hannah... do you want to help me unpack?'

Hannah nodded, and followed her back into her tent, almost immediately breaking into fits of giggles behind the thin material.

I looked down at Kayla, and all at once it hit me that we were unobserved. Truly, for perhaps the first time since that room in the back of the Old Dog, when we first met, we were able to do whatever we wanted.

So, I wrapped an arm around her, and lifted her up to kiss her - passionately, deeply, feeling her press into me. Her tongue slid into my mouth as my hands held her against me moaning into her hungry mouth.

'Angus,' she panted after a moment. 'Is an hour...enough?'

I looked at her, and our heads turned to Rebecca's tent. It was rustling, shifting as the two women inside got down to whatever they were doing.

'Definitely,' I said, and she grinned. We started towards her tent, but Kayla paused.

'I, um-' she said, hesitating.

'What? Are you okay?'

She nodded, and looked up at me,thatglint in her eye. 'Sir,' she said, her voice dropping a little as her hand went to her chest, unzipping the first few centimeters of her thin jacket. 'Will you take me outhere? In the woods?'

My head cocked, and my cock stiffened. 'Oh - you want to be taken like that?' I asked. 'Like an animal?'

She nodded, and I grinned.

Fuck it.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her away, into the trees - the opposite direction that Tony had gone, just in case. The trees weren't too thick - this was clearly where people were, in a larger group, supposed to set up their tents, but there was a thicker line not too far away, so I grabbed Kayla and lifted her. She weighed next to nothing, and it wassuspiciouslyeasy to get her up over my shoulder as I walked out into the woods with her halfway between laughing and swearing.

The entire way, I kept one hand on her upper thigh to keep her in place, her trousers rough and thick and ready for being out here in the woods, and yet I could feel her heat radiating through.

'Sir!SIR!' she yelped, not really calling out, but just playing into it. A new fantasy for us to check off the list, and she was clearlyintoit.

I only went for a few minutes of her wriggling and slapping my back, swearing and feigning fighting back before I found a tree that was thicker than most of the others around us. I wasn't too woodsy - I didn't know the names of different trees off-hand, but it was tall, and thick, and I figured it would do its job.

I pulled Kayla down off my shoulder, and she went to face me, to say something, but before she could, I turned her round.

'For the next ten minutes,' I hissed in her ear, playing up to the character, 'you aremine. There's no one here to help you, do you understand? No one is going to save you.' My breath made the hair over her shoulder shift as I spoke, whispering, and I felt her shudder under me as I pushed her towards the tree, her hands going up against the trunk. She nodded, and I smiled, kissing her cheek lightly.

Kayla whimpered, and it was like music.

'Keep your hands on the fucking tree,' I said, and she nodded. 'You're gonna be a good girl for me, right?' Kayla nodded again. 'Good - now put your feet shoulder-width apart anddon't fucking move.'

'Yes, Sir,' she panted, face against the bark, legs parted enough for me to reach around her and unbutton her trousers. It came open easily, and Kayla's hips shifted as I started to pull them down. I felt them stretch over her pert buttocks, and she whimpered as I exposed her backside to the cold Spring air.

'Good girl,' I whispered in her ear, pulling my hardness out of my own trousers, without dropping mine or her clothes entirely. We were mostly dressed, in fact - other than the parts of ourselves that connected. My face against her cheek, my hands on her backside, my cock pressing into her wet lips. 'So ready for me.'

Kayla

I could see the camp - the tents through the trees. Somewhere beyond that was Tony in his little cabin. Rebecca and Hannah were probably fucking, too - or doing something close. Anyone could be out here, of course, out in the highlands. We'd been left, unattended, and while it was a company's land, it was alsosoout there that no one would stop a rambler or hiker or something moving through. Anyone could walk up on us. Maybe no one would, but anyonecould.

That thought rolled through my head at about the same moment that Angus' cock started to slide into me, and I felt complete again.

'NNnnnnnrrrrrrrrngh,' I moaned, eyes clamped shut and trying not to make too much noise.

'Shut the fuck up,' Angus hissed, playing into that extra-dominant character he'd fallen into. I loved it - for whatever reason. I wasn't naive, I knew that it could be hot to play into the whole masculine dominance thing, but this was something else entirely.

He was fucking me against a tree, barely undressed. This wasn't like having me in his bed, or even in theOld Dog- this was nature. We were animals, playing into our basest desires.

And what we desired was each other. Always had been, since the moment we met.

'Fuck me like an animal, Sir,' I whimpered over my shoulder, before kissing him as he covered me, his chest larger than my back easily. He pushed into me completely, my bodymorethan ready for him, accepting him like it was the only thing in the world that mattered, as Angus took a moment to indulge in this, same as me.

Then, his hand slid into my hair as he held my face against the wood, and he started to fuck me like he'd always wanted. Like a fuckingbeast.

'Fuck-fuck-fuck-fuck-fuck-'I panted, each impact of his hips into my backside pressing me into the tree. I could feel his hands on me, strong and dependable, holding my hair and my waist so I never slipped from the perfect position. Hs cock - hisperfectcock - filled me in a way that was so familiar, and yet soexcitingevery time. I knew how thick he was, how long he was, I knew what parts of me would be stretched and hit by his thrusts; we had spent enough nights together now that he was like home, in that way. And yet, there was a new urgency to this - a desperation and a speed that I hadn't seen since the night in the car, me riding him on his seat, only now he was the one driving the pace.
