Badass - A Hannah Todd Story
This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. This work is copy written by the author. All characters involved in sexual activity are eighteen years of age or older at the time of portrayal.
This work will, at times, contain instances of lesbian sex, interracial sex, Dominance and submission, tattoos and piercings, intrigue, action, romance and affection. There are also threats of violence and a fair amount of heroism and family love and fun.
This is the continuing adventures of Hannah Todd. I would strongly recommend you stop reading this and go back and read at least some of "The Bridge" which provides the back story for most of the characters in this story. I know... it's 30 chapters and lots and lots of pages, but I and a small handful of folks think it's pretty good. I have tried to provide some of the history of the characters so that you can feel like you are getting the full story just by reading Badass. So proceed as you wish. And, bad or good, your feedback is always welcome.
Badass - Part One
Badass - Part One
You wouldn't expect a six-foot-five, two hundred- and thirty-pound ex- Navy SEAL to be soft and gentle under any circumstance. But that was my Duane. One minute he could be beating the shit out of five bad guys, or laying waste to a villainous organization, and the next minute he's ever so gently massaging my libido. Like I am the only woman on earth.
And he hitsallthe buttons. All of themrarely missing a one. Odd that I started my sexual journey as a lover of women as well as men. So, I know a gentle touch when I feel it. And boy, do I feel it. Especially when he kisses me. And he kisses me everywhere. And I meaneverywhere. From my tiny toes to the tip of my nose, and everywhere in between. He rarely misses a spot.
And warm? Even on the coldest of days, I remain warm at my core. Especially when he is around and I am in my happy place, cozied up into his chest with his big, hulking arm wrapped around me. And those kisses that raise my temperature a degree or two every time our lips meet. He is my rock. My velveteen pillar.
After we make love, there is invariably pillow talk. Sometimes it's just about how much we love each other, and sometimes it's about the kids. But today it is not such a loving topic we discussed. We were talking about the enemy. We were discussing Dieter Rose. Rose was your classic villain: fence, master thief, local fence, abuser of women, trafficker of girls, and all-around evil son of a bitch. Just the kind of target the Queen Bee, that's me, is looking to take down.
Amongst other things, Rose had a successful home invasion racket, and he was hitting the wealthier homes in the most prestigious areas of Philadelphia's western suburbs. He made the mistake of hitting the home of one of my best friends. And a client, to boot.
You see, my lover, Duane Royce, owns a security company that supplies bodyguards and home security for many upscale clients in the Delaware Valley. When Rose's crew hit my friend Gloria Tuttlehill's place they struck a little too close to home and struck a nerve. And my nerves don't get struck. But they also got their asses kicked. As resident badass around here, nobody strikes my nerves. Not without repercussions.
Dieter Rose was locked up in a safe house I'd only just learned about, deep in Chester County. My intel crew, Avi, Herman, and Domingo, drained about every piece of data contained in the brain of Mr. Rose. Herman and Domingo, being the biggest and baddest of my crew, scared the shit out of Rose, and Avi, my ex-Mossad agent, probed and probed till there wasn't any more to find out. And we found out plenty.
All kinds of people were looking for Dieter Rose. Not just law enforcement. Those agents of evil both above and below Rose had their feelers out and were offering big bucks for information leading to the location of the prolific fence and auctioneer. We knew this, because Rose had already given us the names and locations of those who were looking for him. And that's not all he told us.
We also got the names of crooked cops, politicians, and judges he had in his pocket, as well as other fences and leaders of home invasion crews, of which there were three he would cop to, in addition to the crew we laid to waste.
Rose's desperation to stay alive filled our coffers with enough data to keep my hit squad busy for the next year, at least. His fear of receiving any more pain from us was palpable. Those things truly kept him alive, whereas his compatriot was, in our minds, dispensable.
The dispensable man, one Charlie "The Chicken" Tendler, was in constant pain. My boys made sure of that. At the Rose Estate, Ninja had left him with two fractured ribs, a broken nose, a jaw out of place, a displaced shoulder and a blown-out knee, all of which I attempted to repair as best as an out of practice nurse might do. He was more tight-lipped than Rose. He knew, as a soldier, that he had no way out of this predicament, so he sucked it up and kept quiet. That all changed when I made him a deal.
Tendler was a bad man. A very bad man. He was a sadistic swine who got his jollies out of beating and raping young girls. Totally perverted from a twisted upbringing, his goal in life was to bring as much pain to the innocent as he could muster. And muster he did. Some of the poor little things we rescued from Rose's estate were pretty beat up and they were all scared to death of everything when we came in to rescue them. Lizzie, who had shot the contents and people in the 'harem room,' made a comment about the fear in the eyes of these young women. She captured it in the photos she took of them.
I had no inclination to be kind in any way to Mr. Tendler. But I was kinder than I should have been, for the sake of expedience. Have to think with my head, and not my heart. If I don't, this guy is dead in a minute.
Tendler has a distinct fetish. He must know others with this fetish. This fetish has to do with the enslavement and trafficking of young girls. Thinking with my 'Todd Recovery' cap on leads me to want to know who else this 'Chicken' knows. And to see just how chicken he is. And who else is out there, enslaved and afraid?
"Mr. Tendler," I said, cloaked under my black garb and hoodie and black balaclava. "You've been very uncooperative, and I think I know why. I think it's because you believe we are going to kill you. But, Charlie, I don't want to kill you. I want to set you free, and I will. Already, word is being spread that you are the rat who got us into Rose's place. Everyone over you and under you is gonna be gunning for you. I'm the only game you've got. And if I kill you, it might just be at your own request. Fear is an ugly thing, Charlie. Fear. Fear and pain, Charlie. That's all you're gonna know. Until we let you go, you either start cooperating or I turn it up. What you've gone through with my little wrecking machine is nothing compared to what's coming if I don't get some cooperation."
I took a pause to allow him to collect himself. I paced and looked him over, as well as I could, through the mostly opaque mask. Chained to the chair as he was, half naked, he eyed me up and down as well. At the moment it was just me and him, with Dom there behind him as my backup. Real good backup.
"Now here's the deal, and I think it's a sweet one. You get two choices. One, we set you free in the wild with a pocket full of change and the keys to a late model sedan, and try to shield you for a time. Second, we kill you. Either way, I think you should cooperate."
Then I hit him with the closer. "There is gonna be a little pain coming at you soon. You won't expect it, but it's coming. When you are ready to talk, I'll be around."
"What is it you want?"
"Ah, he speaks."
"Don't mean nothin'."
"Oh, but it means everything to me. Tell me, Charlie; who do you work for, did you work for or want to work for? Where are these people right now? And tell me about Rose. Where are the bodies buried, Charlie? Where is shit stashed? There is so much I want to know, and confirm from what Rose told me, I am bursting at the seams."
"I hate to burst your bubble, lady, but..."
"Oh, young man, my bubble is just fine. It's your bubble you should be concerned about. I'm not the one who's chained to a chair. I want to introduce you to someone, though. Wait right here."
And I went out to the living room and got Caroline, dressed in nothing but a black nylon catsuit and a black balaclava. In one hand she had a bag of slushy ice, in the other a device we had grown to call 'The Jailor.' We'd used it before. It was called the CockMate 6; a male chastity device. And Caroline was the master, or should I say mistress of this device. Already down to his boxers, she made short work of them with her ever-present switchblade.
My girl was very practiced in the way she grabbed his junk and plunged it into the bag of slushy ice. More ice water than ice by now, but it did the trick. Boy, did he howl. He was shrunk down in a minute, and the Cockmate 6 was installed in a jiffy. It was a quick fit.
Tendler was unmoved. And then Caroline started to move. Her near perfect figure and her firm 36s caught his attention from the get go. And when she felt dancing was not enough, she approached him and straddled him on that chair, and gave him the old bump and grind for a while. That stirred him up. But still, he did not sing. Instead, he made a big mistake. He spit on our girl, Caroline. He is very lucky she did not take that device off him and castrate him on the spot.
But she did not sit still for it. She asked me for permission to move forward. "Do you mind if I take some drastic action, boss?"
Permission granted, and she shaved every hair off his head, and previously well cared for hair lay on a sheet on the floor. She then covered his head with a latex hood with only holes in it for his broken nose to breath out of it. You could hear his rough breathing between the broken nose and the hood covering it. However, he could not see or speak, and certainly couldn't spit.
Caroline and I left the room, leaving the boring job of watching over Mr. Tendler to Domingo. I left him with instructions to remove the hood after an hour, but not to let him sleep. Sleep deprivation is the next step. It will take time with a guy like Charlie Tendler, but we've got nothin' but time. To assist him, he had a low-grade cattle prod. Something just right to wake someone up.
When we arrived back at the house with Ronnie at the wheel and Caroline and me in tow, it was quiet. All you could hear was Bertha's humming as she prepared tonight's dinner. The kids wouldn't be home for an hour. Holly was at Gloria Tuttlehills awaiting their girls for some swim practice. She would be meeting with Chuck Miller, the swim coach from the U.S. Olympic Committee. After Celeste is to be dropped off at home, Mr. Miller and Holly have a dinner date. Sanctioned by me, Holly's wife. I know it's a little convoluted, but our relationship has gone through a lot of changes since we first met and fell in love. While she is dining with Chuck Miller, I will be dining withmybeloved. Duane Royce. See... convoluted.
The silence was broken by my little ones, Dina, who we call Diva and Duane, Jr., the little bull we call Duanee. She is the lightest skinned of all my children with barely tanned skin, green eyes like mine and blonde curly hair. Duane is my Hershey Kiss, milk chocolate skin, deep brown eyes and kinky black hair. These twins could not be more fraternal if they tried. Everything about them is different. Especially the way they interact with each other. I'm learning twins are special. I'll leave it at that for now.
At a little more than nine months of age, it is truly them that run the house. Keep you running all day, and up half the night. But things are starting to settle down with the twins. Their best buddy and Bertha's little girl, Elspeth, now a year old and walking, has been a living example of what is next for my twins. Of the three of them, Ellie is the darkest, but for herbrightred curly hair. In every way, she takes after her mother. To the point where she will take the littler ones to task should they frustrate her. But normally she would just lead them and we would chase them all wherever she took them. Drives us all nuts. And poor Bertha. Puh-leeze.
Fortunately, before my big ones got home from school, Becca showed up to give Aggie, Bertha's cousin and assistant, some much needed relief. Aggie was Bertha's salvation; from cook to maid to nurse maid, she did it all. So much like Bertha. Lucky us.
Even a cold-blooded bitch like myself needs her strokes. When my man is around, he treats me real fine and makes my kitty purr. But what really grounds me and makes me feel more saint than sinner is my kids. My little one, Georgie, and my Georgia Peach. Peach by name, and peach by nature. Talk about my little devil and my big angel. If the shoe fits...
When their car comes up the driveway, it just sends shivers up my spine and down to my toes. I just love them so much. And I never forget those days before they were mine. Those terrible, horrible days.
But today is a good day. We're having 'Lulu's Lasagna,' a dish Bertha got from one of her aunts, for dinner. Duane will be home, which means I will have his attention tonight. What kind of attention is really up to him. But I can make my wishes known. And I will.
Holly and Celeste arrived five minutes before Duane got home. Holly ran upstairs with Aggie to get herself all dolled up for her date tonight. She had an hour. She didn't need but fifteen minutes, so after we changed the twins and Ellie, she came downstairs and we played with the kids together. Nice to see Holly in her rebound stage. Dr. Luisa Como, her psychiatrist, says we're not fully there yet, but things are looking up, and Holly's accepting a date with an attractive man may be a big step forward. Unfortunately, a lot of that is up to the man. Fortunately, in this case, I think we have a man of good character who seems to have a proper respect for us gals. But we shall see. The Queen Bee will be watching. If only from afar, my agents will make sure she is well tended. She will be going with at least two wherever she goes. Mr. Miller notwithstanding.
Aggie and Becca took the babies in hand to change them and put them down for the night. Holly and I went to the Sunroom to await the arrival of her date. Bertha and Caroline got the kids fed and Mac took Ellie home to get her situated and into bed.
"So, Holly, what do we know about our Mr. Miller, other than he swims?"
"Well, Hannah, I've been watching him as he guides the girls toward the Olympics, and he appears to be a kind and giving individual. Very polite, always the gentleman. I just don't see a mean streak in him at all. He's competitive, but not combative. I think he's the kind of manyoucould get with."
"Well, you know my kind of man, and I'm not going anywhere. And you, my wife, do you think you are ready to commit to a relationship?"
"Please, Han, it's just dinner. It's not like I'm dragging him into my bed. And he is only around for another day and then we probably won't see him for a few weeks or a month. Certainly not the foundation for any kind of deep relationship. At this point, it will just be nice to sit across the table from a handsome man who knows what it is to be a gentleman."
"You know, I have no objection to whatever it is you wish to do with Mr. Miller. But understand that I will not allow another Peace Dunbar situation to arise. I'm putting Alec and two other RFS agents on your detail to keep you out of harm's way."
"Believe me, I have no problem with that. Tomorrow, I will give you the full rundown. I have learned that you don't keep things from the Queen Bee."
"Yeah. That's a burden I have to bear more than you can understand. But that's okay. I would rather die than shift that burden to you."
"You really do love me, in spite of everything. I never..."
"That's right, Holly. You were my first true love. I really thought I loved George Barry, but it was a sham love, based on a false premise. You were it, and when I took my vows with you, I meant every word. And I still do. I love you, Holly Bernstein, but I'm madly in love with Duane. I can't ex..."
"You owe me no explanations, Hannah. I love you too and I always will. Nobody ever laid it on the line for me like you did when you took down Peace. You called it an act of love, and I believe it. It's something I won't discuss outside the two of us and Dr. Como, but I will always remember."
"You told Lu that I killed Peace Dunbar?"
"No. Only that you saved me from him. She deduced the rest. She's no dummy, that one. And don't worry. Your secret will be safe with her."
I found Holly's confession to be unsettling. Now, do I have to kill my friend and favorite psychiatrist to keep us from harm? I think not, but it might be time to do a deeper vetting of her, ala Rhee Spanner, my very special private investigator. But not right now. But maybe it's time to book an appointment with her.
Chuck Miller was a tall man, as competitive swimmers tend to be. He had a muscular build and curly salt and pepper hair, befitting a man of his age. When I walked Holly out to his car, he took my hand and thanked me for allowing him to spend this time with my wife.
"You just get her home before the witching hour. I will take great exception if she turns into a pumpkin." From which we three got a big laugh.
"I promise to bring Holly home on time and intact."
"Then go and have a great time. Where are you going?"
"We're going downtown to a farm to table restaurant in Old City. It's called County Kitchen and just recently opened. Most of their stuff is sourced from Chester and Lancaster Counties. One of the owners was one of my back strokers who wound up not making the cut and went to culinary school. I understand you can't get a reservation for weeks. Needless to say it's good knowing someone on the inside."
"Well, you two have a great time. I'll be here waiting when you get home." And I gave Holly a hug and a kiss on the lips. On the lips. And she let me. My, we have come a long way, haven't we?
Now that Holly is taken care of, it's time to get the kids into bed and get to taking care ofmyman. Once my big ones and Celeste were in bed, I went into the office to catch up with Duane who was sitting at the desk that wasn't mine going over bios and vetting reports from the Spanner organization. Still looking for more agents. Still looking for leaders of men. And women.
There he sat, still in his work shirt with tie undone but still tied around his collar. He'd come home, eaten a quickly prepared sandwich and went right back to work after a long day down at the Navy Yard where Royce Field Services' offices were located. The Queen Bee cannot allow her top soldier to be left in such a condition.
I took him by the hand and led him into the nursery so that we could spend some precious moments together admiring our handiwork. With his big strong arm around me, we watched as the twins, each embracing their favorite plush toys, fell more deeply into sleep. I rolled into Duane and held his cheeks in my hands and kissed him deeply. Hopefully, he would get the message. Thankfully, he did.
Like the strongman he is, he swept me up in his arms and carried me to our bedroom. From the moment he set me down on my feet, he kissed me. He kissed me as we undressed each other. He kissed me as we fondled each other and he kissed me all over as we made a gentle kind of love for the better part of an hour. Lots of holding and, again, more kissing. And even some quality time with that big old thing of his. You know. That thing he attacks me with that makes me scream sometimes. But not tonight. Tonight was for lots of ooohs and ahhs. And the exchange of bodily fluids. And sharing our love for each other.
