Infernal Town 06

Five people sat around a table in the upstairs room at the Church of the Infernal Angels. Two of them had been invited to the weekly conference for the first time.

"The Library Board is pushing me to take books about demons off the shelves," one of the two, Wanda Gonzales, said. She was wearing a white blouse and a black skirt. The blouse had remained buttoned up while at work, but now she had it unbuttoned to reveal her lacy bra. Dressing for the demonic gaze, Devoted had called it.

If Arthur Fromm got an eyeful, too, well, whatever.

"Do you have to do what the library board says?" Lilitu asked. The demoness was in a short black cocktail dress. "You're the librarian, right?"

"Well, if I want to keep my job I do," Wanda said. "And I want my job more than ever. It's what lets me stay in this town." With the demons, especially Malphas. "Right now it's not a problem because the books largely aren't on the shelves. They are checked out, and people have holds on them. Deleting books that people have reserves on is too obviously a censorship move. So we have a little time before it's an issue."

"May I speak?" asked Arthur Fromm, the manager of the First Century Bank. He wore a three-piece suit.

"You don't have to ask," Malphas said. His broad red chest was bare, but he wore pants at least. Wanda would have been fine if he was naked, she just would have had a hard time resisting the urge to get under the table. "We invited you here for a reason, and we're not that formal."

"Alright. The board is appointed by the town council. They are independent, in some sense, but if you want to keep your place on the board, you don't piss off the council member that appointed you."

"And who is on the council?" Malphas asked.

"Myself. Ginger Harwell. Lewis Thurston. Mayor Peter Rhoden. And Sam Carville."

Lilitu smiled. "I don't think Lewis Thurston will be much of a problem."

"Why's that?" Wanda asked.

"Well, because the other day he watched his wife suck my cock. He was pretty into it, too. Couldn't wait to lap my cum up off her body."

"Just because people want to fuck us, doesn't mean they are for us in public, sadly," Malphas said.

Fromm shook his head. "Thurston is not that sort. He's a man of integrity, in my opinion."

Lilitu smiled. "And integrity or not, I have something he wants. And so do you, Malphas."

Malphas rolled his eyes. "Big red cock."

"Exactly."

The last member of the group, Devoted, spoke up. "We all want that," she said. She practiced what she preached about dressing for demonic gaze, wearing a long black dress whose neckline went to her navel, showing off half of her big, firm, and presumably fake tits.

"So to get a majority, we need one of the others," Malphas said.

"Can Brenda Carville influence her husband?" Lilitu asked.

Fromm shrugged. "Brenda can influence a lot of people," he said. "The woman spends all her time poking her nose in other people's business, and she has a lot of leverage. But she seems pretty anti-demon."

"Speaking of people who want to fuck us, but aren't for us in public," Lilitu said.

"Heh," Malphas said. "I'm letting her simmer. And her daughter, too."

Devoted grinned. "They won't be able to resist you for long, my lord."

Alice Carville sat on Saffy Harwell's bed, their voices pitched low so Ginger wouldn't hear them. The two girls sat cross-legged. Alice was in cut-offs and a cropped T-shirt, and Saffy wore a sundress.

"You've got it bad," Saffy said.

"You don't understand," Alice said. "He was incredible. He rocked my world. And now he says 'wait'?" She'd thought her mother might have something to do with it, but Malphas asking "how high?" just because her mom said "jump?" It was absurd.

"You knew infernals weren't monogamous," Saffy reminded Alice.

Alice put her hands up and wiggled them. "I know! I know! That's not the issue here. I don't care who he's with, as long as I'm part of the rotation. The books say they can have sex ten times a day. Alright, so he's having sex with Devoted, let's say every day. And Miss Gonzales. That leaves eight slots. And it's been a week! Seven times eight is 56! Do you really think he's doing half the town?"

Saffy giggled. "Well, you'd think something would leak out if he was."

"Was that a double entendre?" Alice asked.

Saffy held her index finger and her thumb close together. "Little bit."

"I'm in agony here, and you're laughing and making jokes."

"Well, he didn't say no, right? He said wait. He's gotta have some kind of reason."

"Or maybe he's just avoiding me."

"I don't think he has to do that. He could just not answer. You don't know where he lives. Why would he play games?"

"Fair," Alice said. "I don't know why. But you also said he had some kind of reason, and we don't knowthat, either."

"Alice? Do you think I'm pretty?"

Alice blinked. "Of course you're pretty."

"And you know, we both went to that meeting, and he choseyou."

Alice felt suddenly remorseful. Here she'd been complaining about Malphas not asking her for a repeat performance, and Saffy had never experienced infernal sex at all. "Oh, Saffy. I'm sorry. I've been a beast."

Saffy shook her head. "No, that wasn't my point. I just... well, like, my best friend is pansexual, she says, but she's in a bedroom with me, and she's going on about this guy when I'm right here."

Alice stared.

"Do I have to be more clear than that?"

Alice shook her head. "No." She leaned over, and kissed Saffy on the lips.

Saffy kissed back. Then she pulled away.

"Was that not what you wanted?" Alice asked. "Damn, Saffy, I'm sorry..."

"It's what I wanted. I just think I should lock the door."

Alice grinned. She'd been thinking about this for a while, without any idea that Saffy felt the same way. As Saffy locked the door, Alice pulled her shirt off and then unfastened her bra.

Saffy's dress and Alice's shorts hit the floor not long after. And then the two girls were in bed, kissing each other and letting their hands explore each other's bodies. After ten minutes of groping Alice decided it was time that she, as the more experienced partner, took the lead. She slipped her hand inside Saffy's panties.

"You're wet," Alice told Saffy.

"No shit, Sherlock," Saffy replied. A moment later, after checking, she said, "So are you."

The panties stayed on for the next few minutes before finally being discarded. Alice maneuvered Saffy into a 69, and the other girl was an enthusiastic if not particularly skilled pussy licker. It wasn't long until Alice managed to make Saffy cum. Saffy started to scream, and Alice pushed her pussy into Saffy's face to quiet her. No sense in making her mother investigate.

"Hmmfff mmfff," Saffy said.

Alice grinned, and started grinding against Saffy's face, seeking her own pleasure now. It didn't compare to sex with Malphas, but she'd been wanting this for a long time, and it was still very good. And if Saffy was having a little trouble breathing right now, that thought excited Alice. She loved Saffy like a sister, but that didn't mean she didn't have an urge to dominate. Saffy was the little sister, even if they were the same age.

Saffy kept lapping away, and eventually the tension inside Alice's body crested. Her body shuddered, and then she collapsed. Saffy gulped the air in heavy gasps as the two girls lay there, intertwined. Once they had both caught their breath, they turned to better cuddle each other. They pressed chest to chest, and ran their hands through each other's hair.

One of their phones vibrated on the nightstand.

"Maybe that's him," Saffy said.

"Oh, don't get my hopes up." Alice reached for her phone, though, and looked. "Nada," she reported. "That was your phone." She put hers down and handed Saffy the other one.

Saffy looked. Her eyes widened.

"What?" Alice asked. "Come on, girlfriend, spill."

Saffy turned bright red.

"Do you have a secret boyfriend or something?" Alice asked, trying to look.

Saffy shook her head, shielding the phone from Alice. "I don't know if I should tell you."

"Come on? After that? Besides, we've always told each other everything, even before we were lovers." Lovers. Was that what they were, or just a couple of friends who got wild once? But no, she felt connected. Really connected.

Saffy nodded. "It was him."

"Him who?"

"Him, Malphas."

"He texted you?"

"He wants to see me. At seven, at the Church of the Infernal Angels."

"No."

"I thought you said I was pretty," Saffy said. "Is it so improbable?"

Alice shook her head. "That's not what I meant. I - tell him we'll do a threesome. That we're a package deal. I - I'm sorry, I'm not being fair. You should... you should experience it. See for yourself." She sighed. "I just wish -"

"I know," Saffy said. "I can tell him we're a package deal, if you want."

Alice took a deep breath. "I like the idea of being a package deal with you. But let's face it, even two cute girls like us, we're not that rare. Not like demon-rare. Let's make a deal. You go to him - if you want, I mean."

Saffy nodded. "I want. I don't mean to denigrate what we just did, and if it was any other guy I'd tell him I was batting for the other team. But this... I want to find out. Especially after all you've told me."

"Then go ahead. And tell him, from me and you... that if he wants us again, he needs to take both of us. That's fair, isn't it? We both get one time alone with him, and after that..."

Saffy grinned, and held up a pinky. "Pinky swear."

Alice locked pinkies with Saffy.

"Maybe he doesn't even want sex," Saffy said.

"Maybe," Alice said. But it stood to reason that a being thatcouldorgasm ten times a day probablywantedto get off on a pretty regular basis. She read in some book that it was theorized that the demonol didn't just arouse and enhance sex for their lovers, it affected the infernals, too. After all, they had it in their bodies all the time. "But you should dress up."

Saffy's phone buzzed again.

"What's he say?" asked Alice.

"He says, 'No panties.'"

Alice smirked. "Yeah, maybe he doesn't even want sex," she said sarcastically.

Brenda Carville couldn't get Malphas out of her head. She couldn't stop thinking about his thick red cock, for one thing. He doubted he was spending the same time thinking about her, and that annoyed her. Men lusted after her, they always had. She used that. She liked sex fine, but she controlled what men wanted, and there was always another man. This was different. He hadn't called; he hadn't texted.

Even the deal she made rankled. He'd agreed to keep his hands off her daughter until she begged him for sex. Even if she made a move, and he agreed, it might be really Alice he wanted. And why not? Alice was a younger Brenda, in many ways.

"I'm off to work, honey," her husband Sam said.

"Fine," Brenda replied.

Sam shrugged. "Something wrong?"

"I'm fine," Brenda insisted. The interaction reminded her she usually gave him a goodbye kiss, so she walked to the door and administered the ceremonial peck.

"You don't sound fine."

"Auxiliary business," she lied. "Don't worry about it, it'll sort itself. It always does."

Sam grinned. "That's right. No one gets the best of the queen bee of Shadow Creek."

She maintained a stiff grin until he was out the door and the door was closed.

It was time to stop moping and start acting.

She called Mayor Rhoden. With the recent booty call she'd paid him, it shouldn't require an in person visit to get what she wanted.

"Brenda!" Peter said. "What a surprise. Coming to see me soon?"

"Soon," she agreed, appreciating the vagueness of the term. "Right now I need information. I want a list emailed to me of the new people in town. Especially couples, but everyone."

"How new is new?"

Brenda thought. "Say the last six months." The demons had shown up more recently than that, but there was no reason they couldn't have moved in before showing themselves. She was pretty sure they lived somewhere nearby. Clearly, they also wanted to keep their human identities secret.

Knowledge was power.

Wanda Gonzales had an incriminating picture of her with Malphas, and although she said she wouldn't use it, that had added to the power balance problem. Wanda was clearly on the demon side when it came to them vs. Brenda. But if Brenda knew who the demons were, things would shift.

"I guess I can wrangle that," Peter told her. "Might take a few hours."

"That's fine, Peter. You know you'll be rewarded."

She could practically hear Peter leer over the phone. "Looking forward to that."

After she hung up, she tried to go about normal things. She met a few Auxiliary ladies, and fleshed out some details for the late summer bake sale. She attended a meeting at the country club to discuss replacing the chairman of the greens committee. Keeping herself busy helped distract her from thoughts about Malphas.

Then she got the mail from Peter. Four single people, three men and one woman. Three couples. She eliminated one of the couples because they had three kids, and that seemed unlikely, if not impossible, which brought it down to eight people total.

She texted Sam to let him know she would be out that evening "on Auxiliary business," and then checked the library hours. Then she drove her Cadillac out to where Wanda lived, and waited.

An hour later Malphas showed up on a gleaming silver Honda motorcycle.

The Honda helped her resist the temptation to throw away her plan and run to him. It figured demons wouldn't buy American. He glanced over, and she slid down in the seat, not wanting him to see. He might recognize her car, but there were five other Caddies in town.

When she poked her head up a few seconds later, he was gone, presumably inside Wanda's house. He was probably going to fuck her hard and fast, impaling the pretty librarian on his big thick red cock, until she cried out in pleasure and grew hoarse from screaming his name.

The tramp.

She got out of the car. She took a picture of the motorcycle, and another of the license plate. Then she went home.

The next morning she was on her knees in the Sherriff's office, sucking Fred Dalton's cock. They were second cousins, so that wasn't a big deal, and she'd always thought of Fred's cock as "fat" before she had experienced Malphas. She appreciated thickness. But Fred's cock was not the only fat thing about him, and to give him a decent blowjob she had to push on his belly to keep it out of the way.

He splooged in her mouth, and she spit it into the wastebasket.

"Geeze, you don't have to act like it's poison," Fred said.

The favor she had asked was not big enough to warrant swallowing. She needed to have ways to escalate. "Maybe someday, I won't," she said, and gave him a smile. She licked her lips to try to sell him on the idea that she liked the taste. But compared to Malphas, well, all she could do was pretend.

Fred had searched the database while she was blowing him, which of course made the blowjob last longer. But it also got Brenda what she wanted faster.

"The motorcycle is registered to Mark Jamison," Fred told her. "New York plates, and that seems to be where he bought it. Why? He cut you off or something?"

Cut her off from something, she thought. But no, he'd said that all she had to do was ask. But then their deal would be off. She got up and buttoned up her blouse. Men always came a little faster when she showed them her ta-tas. "Nope. Just curious. See you around, cuz."

Fred made a face. "That makes what we did sound dirty."

Brenda shrugged. "Far be it from me to make a blowjob sound dirty, Fred. Give my love to Agnes."

She walked out with a gratuitous sway of her hips. Maybe reminding Fred of his wife wasn't nice, but she suspected that the forbidden nature of their occasional trysts was what turned Fred on, despite his protests. He might pretend he didn't like 'dirty' but Brenda figured otherwise.

Mark Jamison. He seemed like such a nice guy, too. Kinda hunky. Not Malphas level hunky, but compared to Fred, or Peter, or Sam, definitely hotsville. And his wife was a dear. Brenda had been planning on inviting her to join the Ladies' Auxiliary.

Was she a demon too? It made sense, in a way, but they were the last people she would have suspected until now. They were on Peter's list of new arrivals as well.

She went to pay them a visit. The Auxiliary thing would make a good excuse, she thought. Membership required a ratification of the board, and she could always advise against it even after extending the invitation, although that would be awkward. Better not to make the offer and just ask Louise if she was interested.

Mark, Malphas. And she'd heard the female demon's name was Lilitu. Louise, Lilitu. Same first initials. Maybe they had monogrammed luggage or something, or maybe it was psychological. She drove up, parked in their driveway, and looked around. Neither of them were outside. She moved toward the garage, and tried to pull up the garage door.

It was locked. So much for getting eyes on the motorcycle. So she went with plan B and knocked on their front door.

Louise opened it, as expected. Both of them worked from home, but Louise worked downstairs, closer to the door. "Brenda! What a surprise," she said. "Well, get him the quote at least. I know he's not going to buy it. But that way, when it goes belly-up because he didn't migrate, we'll have been the people who offered to fix the problem."

It took her a moment to realize that Louise wasn't talking to her, but had a headpiece in.

Louise gestured for her to come inside, absently. "Right. No need to give a discount because he's not ready to make the purchase anyway. And he'll be happy to pay once he sees that what he has doesn't work. I wish we could persuade him now, because it would be better all around, but I really don't see how. He's being penny wise, pound foolish, but you'll never convince him of that." She pushed a button on her phone. "Mark! Company!" Another button. "Yeah. Agree. Alright, talk to you soon."

A few seconds later, Louise smiled at Brenda. "To what do we owe the honor?" Louise asked.

Most people suggested she should call ahead. It was part of why she had decided that the Jamisons were good people. They understood that friends just dropped in.But of course, being demons, maybe they feel they have to act extra nice so no one figures out their big, thick - I mean dark - secret.

"I wanted to talk to you about the Ladies' Auxiliary," she said.

"Ah," Louise said. "I've heard about that. Didn't it used to be some sort of anti-drinking organization?"

Brenda smiled. "A long time ago. Before either of us were born. Nowadays we drink martinis, and sometimes we skip the vermouth." She winked. "Except Agnes Dalton. She liked what she calls a perfect martini, with two kinds of vermouth. Practically undrinkable, unless you've already had a few, don't you agree?"

Louise shrugged. "I'm afraid I don't like martinis no matter what you do with them. Except maybe a French martini, and that's not really a martini at all."

"How do the French make martinis?"

Louise laughed. "I don't think it's really French, either. Vodka, pineapple juice, and Chambord."

"How is that a martini?"

"You serve it in a martini glass. Sometimes with a raspberry to mimic the olive."

Now that Brenda suspected her, Louise seemed more demonic all the time. "Well," Brenda said. "The Auxiliary does a lot of good work. We're having a bake sale."

"I don't really bake. But I'm sure your cookies are a hit."

"They are. And even if you don't bake, there's lots of ways you could help out. We need people to woman the booth, for instance."

"When's the sale?" Louise asked.
