"Unless you have been talking to someone there since early yesterday you can change as I was the only person who knew what your offer was likely to be."

"So are you out job hunting you will certainly stand out from the crowd in that outfit?"

"Thank you I appreciate the offer but I had best be going you have a contract offer to revise."

"How can I contact you if I need to, can I use the phone number you called me with earlier?"

"That's my personal number so you can use it."

"Thank you again and I will see you out."

I had got that little thing out of the way and hopefully I might be able to get something in return in the future. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked out the front door.
