Loving lacey Ch. 43

Early November

Year 5 of Us

Friday

I was looking at the three littlest ones in their cribs. It was very early, and whatever sunlight may have been available was blocked by a heavy fog, so the natural light was mostly gray. Still, I could see all three of them. Jean's black hair was askew, while her little sisters Haley and Olivia had a hand over their faces. I had waved all three dogs down, but Teddy and Princess were still watching me.

I just leaned against the door jamb, smiling. I heard footsteps approaching, then I grinned. As she neared, I softly said, "Good morning, Beloved."

That earned me a low giggle, before she wiggled under my right arm. I heard two more pairs of feet coming closer. "How'd you know it was me?"

"I know the sound of your steps, love. Just as I can hear that Mir is walking on Cathy's left side."

"What *are* you doing in here, Wyatt?" Cathy asked softly.

"I had some bad thoughts wake me up, and one of the most calming things I know to do is come look at these three. Just watch them sleep."

"How about our two?" Lacey asked, keeping her voice low.

"Sam has the same kind of ability that you have, my Princess."

"What kind of ability?"

"She seems to wake up when I move into their room. It's early enough as it is, I don't want her getting riled up."

"Riled up?" Mir asked as she leaned against my left shoulder.

"Yeah," Lacey agreed, a smile in her voice. "He's gone in there to do just this, and she's woken up. It takes forever to get back to sleep, too."

I nodded. "She has a habit of getting Duncan up, too." I smiled. "When it's both of them, it can be nearly impossible."

"Luckily, both LB and Sherlock are willing to be used as examples of going back to sleep." Lacey pushed me gently back into our room, then gently pulled the door nearly closed. "Olivia was starting to stir."

Mir nodded as she wrapped her arms around me. "I noticed that, but you were quicker to react, Lacey."

Willi came out of the bathroom, looking over at us. "What's happening?"

I just shook my head, "Nothing, really."

Lacey added, "He was bothered by some bad thoughts..."

"And he needed to see three of his sleeping babies to make his thoughts better," finished Cathy.

"Oh," Willi looked thoughtful. She wandered over to us as Lacey began to sing softly.

"I may not always love you, But long as there are stars above you, You never need to doubt it, I'll make you so sure about it. God only knows what I'd be without you. If you should ever leave me, Well, life would still go on, believe me, The world could show nothing to me, So what good would living do me? God only knows what I'd be without you."

The other three joined in, "God only knows what I'd be without you..."

I took them all into my arms, trying very hard to keep from crying. Lacey lifted up on her toes, taking my chin in her hand. "Without you, Wyatt Roy, I'd not be here. We wouldn't have our babies." She smiled. "Kiss me like you love me!"

With that kind of order, all I could do was kiss her, my arms around her as the others got as close as they could. I felt my spirits start to lift, as she moaned into my mouth and gripped me tighter.

We broke the kiss, then Cathy said, "Me, next!"

"Of course, Kitty-cat," Lacey grinned at her. "Kissing is all we're doing now, though. It'll be time for certain little kids to be getting up soon."

"Okay," Cathy agreed as she exchanged places with Lacey. Cathy always tasted different, and she tasted especially sweet this morning as her tongue worked its way into my mouth. Her arms went around my neck as I wrapped my arms around her back. Her nipples were hard against my chest as she giggled, then broke the kiss.

"Mir, you're next," Cathy said as she slipped from my arms. Mir moved in, licking her lips as she looked into my eyes.

"I love you, Wyatt," she said, resting her arms on my shoulders.

"I love you, too, Miriam," I responded, getting a huge smile from her as she leaned closer. We kissed, and it was wonderful. As usual. I ran my fingers through her luxurious red hair as she pressed her tongue into my mouth. She moaned into me, then pulled me tightly to her. She caressed the back of my neck, then broke the kiss.

With a smile, she turned her head to her sister. "Your turn, Willi," she said softly, before moving away from me.

Willi stepped close, then grabbed me. She kissed me hard, her tongue pushing into my mouth as her hands roamed over me. I grabbed her in return, pulling her tightly to me. We kissed for several heartbeats, then she pulled away, gasping. "My, that was intense!"

Lacey just laughed. "He's very intense when it comes to things he's enjoys."

"And he really enjoys kissing," added Cathy, looking at me.

I just nodded, then Lacey giggled. "Okay, let's get our morning stuff done before Duncan or Sam wakes up. I want to get a full day with my babies!"

When I looked at her, I saw her eagerness for the day to start, so I reached out, taking her hand. "It's not Saturday, love."

She blinded me with her smile. "I know!" She flung herself at me for a hug. I took her into my arms, just holding her close. "I just missed them, and you, over the past two days!"

"Well, I know that we missed you, even though you were just upstairs!"

I heard Cathy, Mir, and Willi laugh. When Lacey turned around, Cathy looked at us. "We're going to shower in our bathrooms, then get dressed before those babies wake."

"But..." I started to say, but Mir shook her head.

"No, it's fine! You two need some time just for yourselves, even if all you're doing is showering and getting ready for your twins."

Lacey pulled them all close for a quick hug, then they headed for the bedroom door.

"I think that I want you to brush and braid my hair we get back from our walk, love."

"Oh, wow!" She looked at me as she led me to the bathroom for our morning rituals.

"Oh, wow?" She turned to look and smiled when she saw me grinning. "You like doing that, don't you?"

"Like it? No." I shook my head, getting an even brighter smile. "I *love* it, My Princess!" I patted her ass as I went to the sink, getting ready to brush my teeth. She giggled, then started brushing her teeth.

Just as we finished dressing, I heard Sam call out. "Mama? Dada?" We looked at each other as we heard a cry coming from the crib room.

"We've got these three!" called Cathy from there.

"Okay!" Lacey replied as we walked towards the door. When I looked into their room, Duncan and Sam were on her bed, looking out the window. LB gave a small bark, making them both turn around.

"Mama! Dada!" they both cried, bouncing once on the bed, then climbing down. They scooted over to us, Duncan reaching up for Lacey while Sam did the same thing to me. We picked them up, got hugs, then moved so that they could hug the other parent. There was lots of giggling, then Duncan looked at Lacey.

"Mama work today?"

"No, baby. I'm not working today. We going to do normal things!" She looked down at LB and Sherlock, who were looking at her. "Walk," she whispered to Duncan, "then stuff for us." The dogs alerted, but stayed quiet.

"While you two play, I'm going to brush and braid Mommy's hair," I added.

"Dada brush braid me, too?" Sam smiled at me.

"Of course!" I kissed her forehead as we turned to go back to the bedroom. "I'll take care of you first, okay?"

She nodded. "Mama hair long!" She looked at me. "Mama hair longer than Dada hair!" She giggled when I gave her a raspberry in her neck. She patted my face as we went into the bedroom.

Cathy was in my chair, with a very talkative Jean in her lap while Mir was just finishing Olivia. Willi was holding Haley, who squealed happily when she saw us.

"Sam, would it be okay if I held Haley beside you?"

"How about taking Olivia instead, Wyatt?" Mir asked. "Haley hasn't had her breakfast yet."

"Oh! Okay. What about it, Sam? Help me with Olivia?"

"Yes, Dada," came the answer. "Livia is silly!"

I scooped up Olivia, who gave me a baby smile, then turned to look at Sam. She reached out to pat her sister's shoulder, then they both giggled. I looked at Lacey, who was smiling at me. "There's a joke, here, but I don't get it," I grinned.

"Does it really matter?"

I shook my head. "So, let's sit on the bed and wait for Haley to finish her breakfast!" I saw heads nodding, and Cathy brought Jean over to join us. We sat on the bed for a bit, playing and talking with everyone, including the twins. It didn't take that long for Mir and Haley to get up from the Feeding Chair, then walk over to join us.

Lacey looked at Mir, who smiled as she rocked Haley gently. "I think that it's time for breakfast, then something fun!"

"Yay!" cheered Duncan and Sam, while Jean clapped her hands and grinned. Cathy took her boyfriend Duncan, while I lifted Sam. We carried everybody down the stairs, with dogs going down before us and coming along behind us.

As we got to the great room, Lance and Patty were sitting on the couch talking, while Karla came walking out of the hall that led to the bedroom she had slept. "Wow, everybody looks happy!" she smiled widely.

We had set Duncan and Sam onto the floor, and they hurried across the great room to give Karla hugs. She knelt down, then was surprised by not only hugs but kisses from both of them.

"It breakfast time!" Duncan chattered to her.

"Then we go out with puppies!" Sam added, looking around to look for the dogs. LB and Sherlock went over to them, their tails wagging.

"Oops," said Willi, as she headed into the kitchen, followed by Lance and Patty. Lacey smiled, then headed over to where Karla had sat on one of the chairs.

I went into the kitchen, located the dog bowls, then filled them. As Lance, Patty, and Willi started a breakfast of waffles and sausage, I called for the dogs.

All five came trotting in, sitting down in their spots along the mats. Once they were all seated, I began placing the bowls down. Charlie started to lean forward, but stopped when I simply said his name. His tail wagged a little, and then all the bowls were in place. "Okay, pups! Eat your breakfast!"

By the time they finished eating, everyone had gone into the dining room as the three in the kitchen finished up. Lance grinned at me, then headed in, a large platter of waffles in his hands. I followed him in, taking my seat next to Lacey, who gave me that warm smile that made my heart flutter.

I leaned over, telling her that, which earned me that "sun coming over the mountains" smile before she softly kissed me. "Good morning, again, my love."

"It's always a good morning when you're with me, Beloved."

Karla asked, "How are you doing today, Wyatt?" She was smiling, so I returned the smile.

"I'm okay, I think." I took two waffles for myself from the platter that was being passed around, then put one on Sam's plate. I handed the platter to Lacey.

"Tank you, Dada!" She smiled at me as I helped her put butter, then some syrup on her waffle. "I cut it! Will you watch?" She was eager to do this, so I nodded.

"Of course, sweetheart!" So, I watched her cut her waffle, not doing it for her, but encouraging her and giving little tips. Soon, she had it cut to her preference, then she gave me her version of Lacey's brightest smile.

"Tank you, Dada! I cut waffle!" she said proudly, then I heard Duncan say almost the same thing. I glanced over at his plate, and he had done a slightly neater cutting, but when I looked at Lacey, she smiled.

"He did it himself. I just did the same thing you did with Sam -- encouragement and tips."

Duncan pointed at his twin sister. "Sam cut hers! I cut mine!" He was grinning widely.

"Way to go, you two!" Lance cheered them.

"Tank you, Unka Lance!" Sam said.

"You're very welcome, Sam!" Sam looked at me. "You need eat, Dada!"

I looked at her, then grinned. "I guess you're right, Sam." I leaned over, kissed the top of her head, then started to eat. As everybody finished, including Jean who had chewed on part of a waffle, I stretched while leaning back in my chair. I rested my arm around Lacey's shoulders.

"So, I'll take care of clean-up, while everybody gets ready. Which route do you want to take, love?"

Lacey looked around, then smiled. "I think we'll head to the park. Give the kids and the dogs a great chance to play."

That got everybody excited, then Lance looked at me. "Not much clean-up, Wyatt."

"Oh?"

"Willi insisted that we cleaned as we went. So, the only things that need work are dishes and silverware. Everything is either already washed or in the dishwasher."

"Good!" I stood and started to collect things from the table. "If someone will grab the butters and the syrups..."

"I've got them, cowboy," Lacey said softly.

"We'll get Duncan and Sam ready!" Mir pointed to Willi, then herself. Lacey nodded, then Cathy started wiping little faces, making the older twins giggle before they were set on the floor.

As I handled the dishes and utensils, Lacey puttered in the kitchen after placing her things into the fridge. "Are you really okay, my cowboy?"

I closed the dishwasher, then looked at her. I saw concern on her face, so I gave her the most honest answer I could. "I'm not going to lie. I'm glad you're not filming today. I'm kinda numb at times, and I need being with you and my other loves." I looked up as she came around the island, taking me in her arms.

"If we hadn't finished what I wanted, I would have cancelled today, anyway, once I heard about Brett. I *know* you, my love." She snuggled closer. "You aren't that lone wolf. At least, not anymore."

I nodded. "Gwen, then you, broke me of that stupid mindset. You are my safe haven, no matter what."

"Hey! What's taking you guys...?" Cathy had stuck her head around the corner to look into the kitchen. "Oh." I heard her steps come closer, then her hands were on my back. "Everybody's waiting for you two."

"Okay," Lacey replied before she released me. "Let's go get some walking outside shoes on, my love."

I nodded, took a breath, then let Lacey and Cathy take my hands before leading me out of the kitchen. Once we had shoes on, and I had put on my holster, we headed out. Patty was staring at me, then whispered something to Karla, who simply waved a hand before speaking.

"Wyatt, please tell Patty why you're carrying a gun."

As we walked, I dropped back once Lacey nodded her head to walk beside Patty while Lance walked alongside with two dog leashes in his hand. Charlie and Princess were being well-behaved, keeping their attention on the strollers with Jean and Haley. I smiled as I looked at the dogs, then looked at Patty.

"I'm carrying a pistol because of predators."

Patty responded, "You mean like bears and mountain lions?"

Lance snorted, but stayed quiet.

"Possibly," I said. "They tend to stay away from people, especially groups as loud as this one." I was keeping watch, as were Lacey and Mir, as we walked. "I'm not the only one here with a firearm, though."

"Oh?" She looked stunned as I nodded.

"Yep. Lacey, Cathy, and Mir have pistols within easy reach. Our biggest concern isn't wild animals. It's people."

"People?"

"Yep. Ninety-nine out of a hundred people you might meet in this area are friendly and nice. There's always a risk of the last person being not friendly, and not very nice." I smiled at her expression. "It's always best to have a weapon and not need it then to need it and not have it." I saw her turn to Lance who simply offered his hand.

I picked up my pace and moved beside Lacey. "She stunned?"

"I think so."

Lacey snorted as Karla giggled. "Well, I think she may have lost interest in you, my cowboy." I shrugged.

"That's good." I smiled as I looked around. "I have five women, and six kids. I think that's good enough."

"Six kids?" Karla looked at the five in strollers or a wagon. "I only see five kids."

Lacey laughed, then patted her hand. "Love," she looked at me, "if you'll take control of this wagon and these two leashes, I'll show her some pictures."

"Sure thing." I took over, with the only reaction being that LB looked at me and wagged her tail. I listened to the conversation.

"Here."

"Who's that?"

"That's Wyatt's oldest son, Adam."

"He doesn't live with you?"

"No, he's up in Seattle?" Lacey looked at me, so I nodded. "Seattle, with his wife Zoey."

"How tall is he?" I knew what picture they were looking at.

"Six feet, four inches tall. And, before you ask, he's five months older than I am."

"What?" Karla's face snapped towards mine. "Is she kidding?"

I just shook my head, while paying attention to where we were going. I chuckled as LB and Sherlock the turn onto the path for the park.

"So, have you ever...?"

"No." Lacey said firmly as she tucked her phone back into her pants pocket. "I may have fairly loose morals, to use a phrase from one of his books, but I had decided that I wouldn't do anything with Adam of an adult nature." She looked back at the twins, who were excitedly chattering and pointing at the playground.

"What do you mean?" Karla was really curious, but Lacey just shook her head.

"Let's get these two loose out here, and I'll finish explaining."

Karla just nodded, then turned to Duncan as I stopped the wagon at a bench near the swings. "Which first, Duncan?"

"Slide!"

"Slide!" echoed Sam, smiling up at Karla, who lifted her out of the wagon. Before she could get to Duncan, Lance lifted him out, then both of them headed for the slide.

Cathy had gotten Jean out of her stroller, then called out, "Wait up, you two sillies! Jean's going to go on the slide, too!" They stopped, looking at Cathy and Jean.

"Hurry, Jean! Hurry, Mama Catty!" They called, hopping up and down in their excitement.

Lance tugged a laughing Patty along by one hand as they followed the group heading for the slide. "We've got 'em!" called Lance as he passed us.

Mir and Willi had taken Haley and Olivia from their stroller, then they joined us on the bench. It would have been a tight fit with five adult on it, but Lacey solved that by sitting on my lap.

She kissed me, then looked at Karla, smiling. "I love my Santa!"

"Hey!" exclaimed Mir, smiling at Lacey. "He's my Santa, too!" Willi giggled, then Mir added, "He's Santa to Cathy and Willi, too."

Karla smiled, then looked at me past Lacey's head. "Will you be my Santa, too?"

Lacey wiggled her ass cheeks against me, then leaned back. "Stop that, little girl, or you'll get a spanking later," I said.

"Promise?" was Lacey's response, which got me to laugh. "I love that sound, my cowboy!"

"What sound?"

"Your laugh." Lacey patted my hands, which were around her waist. "Now, answer Karla's question."

"Will you be my Santa, too, Wyatt?"

I squeezed Lacey, then looked at Mir and Willi. "What do you think, my loves? Can we add another good, naughty girl to our group?"

All three of them nodded, then Lacey added, "Tonight, she's going to get her first load of presents!" We all laughed when Karla licked her lips. "Okay, back to Adam."

Lacey wiggled her ass on me again, then said, "What was your next question, Karla?"

"Why wouldn't you want to have sex with Adam?"

I remained quiet, letting Lacey handle this. "First and foremost, this man that I love, the man who's holding me in his lap. I would never do anything that would hurt him." She patted my hands again. "It took him awhile to get used to seeing me just kiss Travis. Now, though, he's fine with it."

"It doesn't hurt that when she kisses Travis, I'm usually kissing Erica," I added.

"Hush, love, let me tell this."

"Yes, Beloved." I put my forehead against the back of her head, inhaling the lilac smell of her shampoo.

"How about Lance?"

"Have you seen me kiss him? Ever?"

Karla paused, thinking. "Actually, no I haven't. Well, except for kisses on the cheek."
