SlutteryTales provides clear pathways for users, rights holders, and members of the public to lodge formal complaints regarding hosted content, platform features, user behavior, or privacy concerns.

2.1 Categories of Complaints Handled

Users may submit formal complaints regarding:

Content Violations: Suspected illegal content, CSAM/CSAE, non-consensual explicit media, hate speech, or severe harassment.

Copyright & Intellectual Property: Unauthorized copying, distribution, or misuse of written works, art, or media (processed under our DMCA Policy).

Privacy & Data Protection Rights: Data deletion requests, access queries, or complaints regarding the processing of personal data (under GDPR, CCPA, or DPDP Act).

Technical Abuse & Fraud: Spam, phishing, malware distribution, or account security breaches.

2.2 How to Submit a Formal Complaint

2.3 Complaint Resolution Timeline

Acknowledgment: We endeavor to acknowledge receipt of formal complaints within 48 hours.

Investigation & Action: Standard grievances are investigated and resolved within 14 to 30 calendar days, depending on complexity and regulatory requirements. Severe safety hazards (e.g., CSAM or active doxxing) are prioritized for immediate emergency intervention within 24 hours.

SlutteryTales respects due process. If your account has been restricted, suspended, or terminated, or if your published content (story, comment, artwork) was removed or hidden by our moderation team (human or automated), you have the right to request a formal review.

3.1 Eligible Grounds for Appeal

You may appeal a moderation decision if you believe:

The decision was based on an error of fact, misidentification, or automated filter false-positive.

Your work complies fully with our Community Guidelines & Content Policy.

Dark or taboo fictional elements were misclassified as real-world harm.

Proper content warnings were applied, but ignored during initial review.

3.2 Non-Appealable Offenses

Appeals will NOT be considered for accounts terminated due to:

Confirmed Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM/CSAE) or pedophilic depictions.

Confirmed Non-Consensual Explicit Imagery (NCII) or "revenge porn."

Confirmed real-world violence, terrorism, or physical threats.

Repeated, deliberate copyright infringement following multiple warnings.

3.3 How to File an Appeal

Provide a clear statement explaining why the original decision was incorrect, along with any contextual evidence.

3.4 Appeal Determination

Appeals are assigned to a senior member of the SlutteryTales operations team who was not involved in the initial moderation action.

Finality: The decision issued upon appeal review is final and binding within the Platform ecosystem.

Restoration: If an appeal is granted, restricted accounts will be reactivated, and removed content restored without penalty.

SlutteryTales cooperates with valid, lawful requests from recognized law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities, and regulatory bodies worldwide, while upholding user privacy and constitutional protections.

4.1 Legal Process Requirement

Except in life-threatening emergencies or severe statutory mandates, SlutteryTales requires valid legal process prior to disclosing non-public user data, account records, IP history, or private communications.

We accept law enforcement requests through the following legal instruments:

Subpoenas & Administrative Requests: May compel basic subscriber information (e.g., account registration email, account creation date, IP login logs).

Court Orders: May compel transactional data, navigation history, and disassociated logs.

Search Warrants / Judicial Seizure Orders: Required to compel the disclosure of private messages, draft stories, or unverified private uploads.

International Orders: Foreign law enforcement agencies outside India must issue requests through Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties (MLAT) or formal letters rogatory, unless acting under recognized international emergency protocols.

4.2 Submission Guidelines for Law Enforcement

4.3 Emergency Disclosure Requests (Exigent Circumstances)

In situations involving imminent threat of death, severe physical harm, kidnapping, active terrorism, or ongoing child exploitation, law enforcement officers may submit an Emergency Disclosure Request.

Emergency requests must clearly outline the immediate life-threatening nature of the situation and explain why obtaining standard court orders is impossible in time.

Upon validation, SlutteryTales will voluntarily disclose necessary non-public subscriber data to prevent imminent harm.

4.4 User Notification Policy

As a general rule, SlutteryTales policy is to notify registered users when we receive valid legal process requesting their private information, allowing them an opportunity to seek protective court orders.

We will NOT notify the user if:

Prohibition of notice is explicitly mandated by a court order or statutory non-disclosure order (e.g., gag order).

Notification would impede an active criminal investigation involving child exploitation, human trafficking, or terrorism.

Notification presents an immediate risk of physical harm or evidence destruction.

Upon receipt of a valid, formal legal request from law enforcement requesting data preservation (e.g., under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f) or Indian Criminal Procedure frameworks), SlutteryTales will take temporary steps to preserve a snapshot of relevant account logs, user-generated content, and subscriber records for up to 90 to 180 days, pending receipt of formal judicial warrants.

This Policy is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. SlutteryTales reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time to reflect changing international legal obligations or operational requirements.
