What's it mean when a god makes you pancakes?
Then there's saying goodbye.
Wait, should I have been tagging all of these as interracial? I mean, nobody in these stories is the same race. Asher's the closest thing to human...sorta.
Enjoy!
PS: Chapter 39 is the final chapter in Book 3, but there's more to come.

Chapter 38
ASHER
"Why is kissing you so good?" I asked before diving back onto Shae's lips.
We'd eventually worn ourselves out and retreated to our room. James and Remmi fell into bed together and were out like a light. I knew they'd regret that in the morning, as they were both sticky and filthy. Sounds like a great name for a porn series if you ask me.
Shae and I took a moment to admire the pair already tangled up in the sheets before heading to the bathroom to get clean ourselves.
"So," Shae began. "It's only the kissing then, is it?" she said it with a wry grin as her hand moved down my stomach to my soft cock.
Even though my futa cock had been terribly abused tonight and was as tired as I was, it still rose to the occasion as the woman began to pet it. This only added to the heat that never seemed to fade from my libido.
"Did you want more?" I moaned softly into her mouth as her strong fingers wrapped around my hardening length.
"Every time I go to say no to you, something makes me say yes," Shae said as she kissed my ear.
"Well," I gasped as she nipped my earlobe. "Tim did say I had a lust problem."
"He did?" Shae said with mock surprise as she leaned away from me and touched her chest. "I'm shocked!"
"Yes, you dork," I said and closed the distance between us to capture her lips again. "If I'm truly in this Gestalt mindlink thing, then that means it's spread out amongst the rest of you, right?"
The bathroom, like the rest of Danu's temple, had a large pool in it, but no shower. Just like the rest, this pool was linked to the entire system that was Danu. I tried not to think about the ramifications of that as I continued to kiss Shae.
"I could make a lewd comment about you being spread out amongst us, but I'll leave that sort of thing for my husband," Shae said as I began kissing my way to her chest.
"Sure," I said as I took one of her nipples in my mouth and flicked it harshly with my tongue.
"Easy," Shae hissed. "They're a bit sore, I'm afraid."
"Can't imagine why," I teased as I eased up before switching to her other nipple. I continued my tour of her body as I traveled down her belly and to her abused pussy.
I say abused, because I'm the one who had been abusing it all night.
Shae sighed and moaned appreciative of my efforts, but soon pulled me back up to her mouth. As she did, my cock somehow found its way to her entrance, and she flinched.
"You OK?" I asked, startled.
"Just not sure if I can handle you right now," Shae said honestly.
"Sore?" I chuckled.
"Even vampires can get sore," she said.
I grinned and shifted my hips so the belly of my cock now rested on her clit. This also made her jump, but she didn't stop me as I began sliding my cock back and forth against her.
"Well," Shae began with a touch of surprise in her voice. "That's nice."
"It is," I said as the feeling of her hot nub scraping against the sensitive underside of my cock felt amazing. After all of the "big" feelings we'd had tonight, this tiny concentration of excitement was delectable.
We continued to grind together, kissing and moaning until I could feel myself starting to get close.
"Ugh, I'm so close," I groaned into her mouth.
"I know," Shae moaned back. "Don't hold back."
I could sense Shae was nowhere near an orgasm, but her urging me on triggered my brain, letting it know it was OK to let go.
My cock bucked as I began to cum. A new warmth spread between our joined bellies as what little cum I had left spurted out between us. It only made things hotter as we smeared the fluid's warmth between us.
But, eventually, my cock quieted, and my shuddering breath settled down until I was looking into Shae's eyes.
We stared at one another in silence for a long moment, then embraced for longer. I wasn't sure what I was feeling at that moment, but I didn't want to say anything for fear of scaring it off.
When we finally came up for air, I was barely holding my eyes open.
"Can I ask you a question, and you not get mad?" I asked.
"Depends," Shae said through a yawn.
"Well, I'm only like 20ish and your...more-ish," I started. "Remmi and I are having a blast with this lifestyle...but will this last?"
"That's up to you," Shae said honestly. "One or both of you may lose a taste for it. Something might come up. You might want some time away. Anything can happen. The main thing is, you'll always be welcome with us, no matter what. You're both a part of us now."
"One of us, one of us," I chanted
"Shut up and kiss me, then get some sleep," Shae said with a grin.
The next morning, we were rudely awakened by a booming voice.
"Looks like we missed the party," Tara said.
I cracked my eyes open to find Tara and Rhi standing in the doorway perusing the scene of the four of us in bed.
To be clear, we had two beds in the room. There was no way Shae and I were going to climb into the disgusting mess that Remmi and James were wrapped up in after getting clean last night.
"What's with the hair?" Rhi asked. "You trying to copy Shae or something?"
Oh yeah, that. So, when I came out of Danu's healing pool, my hair had all grown back. But, where I'd had a stripe of white hair before, all of my hair was now white!
James forgot to mention that one of the many traits all CW shared was the fact that their hair was the color of fresh snow! That, plus, you couldn't dye it. The hair wouldn't hold color for whatever reason. I mean, yeah, it looked cool and all, but I would have at least liked the option to change my hair color!
"Long story," I yawned and pulled myself from Shae's arms to hug the new pair.
I hadn't seen Rhi in months. James had said she'd had some problems, and it showed. Her normally neat and well put-together appearance was rough. Her clothes were disheveled, her hair a mess, and she looked...gaunt? I didn't know vampires could look like that.
Tara, on the other hand, was her normal bouncy self. So different from how Cr'eon acted.
"I thought you two were holding fast at the Outpost," Shae asked as she propped herself up in bed.
Seeing Shae sitting up in bed, topless, suddenly made me feel more naked than I was. I quickly started pulling on clothes as Tara replied.
"Yeah, the brothers have taken up residence now," Tara said.
"They made it back safely then?" James asked as he stretched.
Remmi had stiffly rolled out of bed before practically draping herself on Rhi as they hugged. Remmi was having a rough morning.
"Gotta pee," Remmi muttered as she trudged into the bathroom and out of sight. A minute later, I heard a splash and figured she'd dunked herself in the pool to help wake herself up. Hopefully, she cleaned up as well as she'd been dragging a wall of funk behind her when she passed by.
"Yeah," Tara continued. "They showed up yesterday and began setting up shop. It didn't take long for us to show them the routine."
They talked for a few minutes about how the Outpost was set up to monitor the mountains for temple outbreaks. I only half listened as I saw Remmi coming out of the bathroom, wrapped in a robe and drying her hair with a towel.
"But I thought you were going to meet us at The Roadhouse," James said.
"We were," Tara said.
"But then we were told to come here," Rhi said, her voice strained.
"Told?" Shae asked. "By who?"
"By me," a new voice I didn't recognize said.
A girl who looked about my age, maybe a year younger, squeezed herself between the pair in the doorway and glanced around with her hands on her hips.
She had long, curly, blazing red hair and matching freckles. She was cute, in the girl-next-door kind of way and was wearing jeans and a white t-shirt that were definitely not from this Bio Hab.
"Viola?" James gasped as he stared open-mouthed at the girl.
Viola took one look at James and frowned.
"Christ, Dad, would you go take a shower? You smell like Mom...and her, and her, for that matter," Viola said as she nodded at Remmi and me.
James just sat there, staring.
Shae, on the other hand, pulled the sheet from the bed and wrapped herself in it before hugging Viola warmly.
"Hey, Mom," Viola said.
Remmi looked at me and mouthed "Mom?"
When they broke, James was still frozen.
"Would you mind taking care of Dad? He seems stuck," Viola said to Rhi.
Without a word, Rhi picked James up and carried him into the bathroom.
"Hey!" James shouted just before I heard a loud splash.
"Thank you!" Viola called out to Rhi before turning to us. "I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you two before you came here," she said as she stepped forward, holding her hand out to us to shake. "I'm Viola, the Administrator."
I'd just taken her hand and froze.
"The Administrator? As in THE Administrator?" I asked.
"Yup, that's me," Viola grinned and began rocking back and forth on her heels in a very "child-like" manner.
"As in the God of this Bio Hab?" Remmi stammered.
"Guilty!" Viola said brightly. "Now, who's hungry?"
Fifteen minutes later, we were sitting around the table eating breakfast...with God.
"I wouldn't really call me God," Viola was saying. "That's someone else. Albeit there are many gods on this Bio Hab, it's just that I created them all. They're my subminds, designed to mind the store as it were."
Remmi and I were now doing our best codfish impression as we stared at Viola. She was making pancakes in a kitchen that hadn't been here last night.
"Here you go, Mom," Viola said as she put a fresh plate of pancakes in front of Rhi.
"Wait," Remmi jumped in. "Why do you keep calling them Mom and Dad? And now Rhi, too?"
Viola had called Tara, Rhi, and Shae all "Mom" and James "Dad" as she scooted around the kitchen making breakfast.
"Your kid is God?" I asked Shae.
"No, not God, please listen, Asher," Viola said in a stern voice, not turning from the stove.
"The avatar," James started. "That Viola uses was created from the combined DNA of the four of us."
"So," Remmi said slowly. "She really is your kid."
"See, Dad, she gets it!" Viola snapped. "Get with the program," she said, pointing at him with a spatula.
James started to say something, but stopped and just shook his head. Shae patted him on the shoulder kindly.
"So, you're the AI that made this place..." I said, still trying to wrap my head around some all-powerful being who was currently making me pancakes.
"Like Behemoth," Remmi added.
Viola froze and slowly turned to face Remmi with a frown.
"I am NOT Behemoth," Viola said slowly and with a tone that sent shivers down my spine, and not in a good way. "Behemoth, is insane."
"Sorry," Remmi said, feeling the same overwhelming presence that was threatening my bladder right now.
"That's alright," Viola said, her face instantly returning to the bright and shiny visage from before as she turned back to the stove.
I glanced at Remmi just as she glanced at me.
"Viola tried to take out Behemoth a long time ago," James whispered.
"Don't whisper, Dad, it's rude," Viola said.
*It didn't go well,* James spoke into our minds.
*Mindspeak is also rude, Dad,* Viola said into our heads.
"Sorry," James said.
Viola just shook her head and kept cooking.
I had no idea what the dynamic was here, but it was weird as hell!
"Hey...Viola?" I started.
"Yeah?" Viola said, not turning from the stove.
"Why didn't you intervene? At The Roadhouse, I mean?" I asked.
"Ah," Viola said and scooped another heap of pancakes onto a plate before delivering it to the table. "This Bio Hab is my last bastion. When Behemoth first attacked my complex, I was able to firewall it off so they couldn't find it. The more I mess with it, though, the higher the chance Behemoth finds out about it and takes it from me, too."
"Do you check on the place occasionally?" Remmi asked.
"I do, when I have the time," Viola said.
"That must be hard," I said. "I mean, from what I've heard, you used to talk to everyone on the Bio Hab on a daily basis."
"Yeah, I miss that sometimes," Viola said, nodding as she cooked.
"With how active you used to be, is that the reason there weren't any big wars or anything?" I asked. Of the history I'd read, there hadn't been any conflicts the size of what we'd call world wars.
"Oh, there were still plenty of wars, especially when it came to politics or religion," Viola said. "But I stayed out of it."
"It didn't bother you?" Remmi asked. "I mean, like the holy wars and such?"
"Why would it? All the gods here are my subminds. They're all me technically," Viola said with a shrug.
I gave Remmi a questioning look and turned to Shae, who shook her head slightly.
"Ugh," Viola sighed. "I can hear your eyes, too, guys," Viola said and turned off the stove before finally sitting down.
"My job, as an Administrator, is to create a Bio Hab, then monitor it as it develops," Viola said as she took a bite from her plate. "Aside from the baseline programs I add to the system, such as the gods, I'm not supposed to intervene in anything. Hell, me just being here is against the rules."
"Then why are you?" Remmi asked.
"'Cause it's my house!" Viola said, pounding a fist on the table, making the dishes clatter. "Plus," Viola started in a softer tone. "I missed you guys," she said, leaning her head against James's shoulder.
"It's been, like, two years," James said as if two years wasn't long at all.
"Yeah..." Viola started and grimaced. "I kinda forgot about the time difference between Bio Habs."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Each set of Bio Habs is located in a different dimension," Viola said. "Time works differently in every dimension. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot."
"Meaning?" I asked.
"Where I was at, only a few seconds passed for me while two years passed for you guys," Viola said.
"You missed us after only a few seconds of being gone?" Shae asked.
Viola seemed embarrassed, so she just shrugged.
"You're adorable!" Shae said and leaned over and hugged Viola...the god...her daughter.
My head spun at the mere idea.
"I know," Viola said around a mouthful of pancakes.
"Kinda makes sense," Remmi said. "That explains why everything here just fell apart a thousand years ago."
"Right? You think you get your house in order and go on vacation. Only to find out that while you were gone, the pipes burst, and the house burned down!" Viola said.
"So, where did all the Daemons go?" I asked, something that had been bothering me for a while. I understood the Guardians getting old and dying, but Daemons were supposed to live a really long time.
"One of the things Behemoth did when he took over Bio Habs was to turn the Daemons against their Administrators," Viola said. "It did this by simply impersonating the Administrator so the Daemons didn't know any better.
"When I thought Behemoth had found this place, I panicked and isolated the Daemon population," Viola said.
"Isolated?" I asked.
"I put them in a box and hid them," Viola said after a moment's thought.
"And what, you lost the box?" James asked. "Why am I not surprised?"
Viola glared at her "father" before continuing.
"No, I didn't lose them!" Viola said. "I firewalled them off and isolated them from everyone, including me. That's why you're going to go find them for me." Viola took another bite of pancakes, a bit of syrup dribbling on her chin.
"That's the job, isn't it?" Remmi asked James.
James only nodded in return.
"What job?" I asked.
"We've been tasked to go and retrieve the Daemons of this Bio Hab so they can get back to work," Shae said.
"I was mistaken about Behemoth and overreacted," Viola said, shrugging. "Sue me."
"So, where are they?" I asked.
"Somewhere on the secret continent," Viola said.
"Secret continent?" I asked. "Really?"
"It's called Malrina, but since I locked the place down so no one could get in, everyone's forgotten its true name," Viola said. "Now they just call it the secret continent, at least the tin foil hat crowd that believes it exists. Everyone else doesn't believe in it."
"Did your job a little too well, did you?" James asked.
Viola punched him in the arm hard enough that he flinched, which was saying something for a vampire.
"I doubt it'll take you more than a year or so," Viola said. "Then you can go back to lazing about."
"Lazing about?" James shouted. "Woman, we've been busting our asses doing what you asked us to already."
This made Viola pause, and a pained expression filled her face.
"I know, I'm sorry," Viola said and glanced at Rhi. "Truly."
Rhi didn't say anything, but I saw Tara take her hand.
"Once the Daemons are back on duty, you can do anything you wish. You don't have to remain at the Outpost, or The Roadhouse for that matter," Viola said, turning to Remmi and me.
"Wait, weren't we supposed to be hiding out here?" Shae asked.
"Yes," Viola started. "But once the Daemons return, all focus will be on them. You should be able to fly under the radar rather easily." Viola turned and looked at James. "As long as you keep your wits about you."
"What?" James asked. "What'd I do?"

ASHER
After bidding Danu farewell, we made our way home.
It hadn't taken long for The Roadhouse to return to its normal routine after the "war." It was a refreshing and welcome change. So, the place was just as bustling as it had always been when we arrived.
Carfen met us at the gate. He'd somehow sensed our return. Or, more likely, Viola. She'd insisted on tagging along with us.
As it turned out, Viola had been talking to Carfen nonstop since she'd arrived back on this Bio Hab. As one of the few dedicated followers, Carfen was like an antenna and just drew Viola's attention. She couldn't help but talk to him.
Carfen gave Viola a tour of the chapel first and was nearly in tears when she complimented him on his work and dedication. When she patted him on the back, he fainted.
Patty's meeting was funnier.
We weren't advertising the Administrator's presence and made sure the surgery was locked down after we entered the building. Only Patty and Matron Sloane were allowed inside. Her grandson was off collecting medicines.
"You have a most impressive surgery, Patty," Viola said as she looked about the place. "It perfectly blends current medicines and the medical knowledge of your home Bio Hab. It's really good!" Viola seemed honestly excited about it.
"Thank you, Adm...Viola," Betty corrected herself. While she hadn't fallen over herself at Viola's introduction, the longer she spent in the Administrator's presence, the more nervous she became. "I did have a few questions about some of the medical crossover..."
"Oh, well, if it's medical stuff, here, let me get you an expert," Viola said and made a small motion with her hand.
"WHO SUMMONS THE GREAT AND POWERFUL...oh, it's you," a new voice said. It had started out as a booming, commanding voice, then devolved into something hyper and high-pitched.
When I turned around, a five-foot lizard standing on its back legs and looking really pleased to be here, was looking at Viola expectantly.
"Patty, this is Cammot," Viola said.
The deity of healing turned to Patty.
"Hi, I'm god!" Cammot said.
Matron Sloane made a squeaking sound and fainted, causing Patty to catch her with her tail.
"H--hi," Patty managed as she looked at the god who'd been helping her to heal so many injured people.
I turned to Viola as something occurred to me.
