Arthuriana

Arthur has become king of England. With the wizard Merlin by his side as counselor, construction begins on Castle Camelot and the city of Camelot. It is set up as a Utopian society. Men, women and children are happy living in peace and unity. There is plenty of food and natural resources. Arthur marries Guenevere, the beautiful 21 year old daughter of Leodegrance, a king of a nearby realm. They make love on their wedding night and are happy. For protection from any hostile clans, Arthur establishes the Order of the Knights of the Round Table. The search for worthy knights begins. Many are found and tested and trained as knights but not all make it to the Round Table. Lancelot, who is a married peasant in a land near the lake of Viviana (the lady of the lake), dreams of adventure. He is bored of his simple country life with his wife Elaine and their young son Galahad. Viviana appears to him one night and tells him his destiny is to be one of the knights of the Round Table. Viviana makes love with Lancelot, bonding them together and uses her magic to bless him. Lancelot leaves Elaine and his son and goes off to Camelot and is given the opportunity to be one of the knights of the Round Table.
