When I woke up, Brent wasn't in the bed. I got up and made a bathroom trip. He had to be downstairs. I headed down, couldn't find him downstairs. He laughed, about out of his clothes, "You'd be waiting a long time. I was hoping, well, I though we'd have dinner and I follow you to the school in the morning."

I thought a minute, "Maybe I could make a run and get the homework, bring it here?" I paused, "If you're good at pumping gas, maybe you would come with?"

He smiled, "I'll check the oil and wash the windshield too."

I asked, "There's oil in my car?"

He busted out laughing, "You teach Calculus. You can't play the dumb blonde." I was already laughing as he finished his line.

We headed to the kitchen. He had my cutting up strawberries. He mixed waffle batter from a healthier mix, brought out fancy Belgian waffle maker and made us each a waffle. The strawberries went on top with a bit of powdered sugar sprinkled on top. We headed outside to eat.

After breakfast, and cleaning up, we got in my car and headed down the twisty road to the Bay area traffic, and noise. Arriving at the apartment project, I parked and we headed in, meeting a couple at the base of the stairs. She said, "You must be the naked tenant, Janice? 326 here in 'B,' right?"

I smiled, "Yes. Hi. I guess everyone in the building has heard about me."

She laughed, "We heard, and we live way back in 'H' building, Nice to meet you.

I nodded, "This is Brent. Nice to meet you too."

We stepped into the apartment, I shouted, "Hi Stacy, it's Janice." She stepped out of her room as I continued, "And Brent is with me."

She walked over giggling, "Never been caught naked before, but it's so nice to meet you Brent. Have a seat. Can I get you a water or anything while I stop blushing?"

Brent smiled, "I'm fine, but nice to meet you. Come up to the cabin, you'll catch me naked.

Stacy shook her head, but he's picking me up at 8:00 in the morning Saturday."

Brent smiled, "You might want to pack an overnight bag, just in case. You'll have a great time with him. He can be a bit goofy, but a total gentleman."

Stacy asked, "Brent, I haven't figured out if he's expecting me to be naked? I was on the call naked and discussed Janice naked with you."

I asked, "Stacy, can I borrow the key? I just want my trail sneakers and my flip flops."

I nodded, "I've been meeting people here. They know about me all the way over in 'H' building, even our apartment number. No more need to sneak around."

Brent added, "Not with the security cameras." Stacy and I both looked at him. He continued, "I'll point them out when we leave."

Stacy gave me the key, and I headed out, down to the lower level and our locker. It didn't take long, they were in a trash bag, and in the big storage tub, not a vacuum pack bag. I headed back up, running into a couple on the second floor. They grinned as she said, "Hi Janice, Nice to see you!"

I smiled, "Hi. Everyone knows me now huh?"

She asked, "You on the neighborhood Facebook group? If not, you should join. Everyone loves spotting you. Some post pics. You might as well come to the pool."

He added, "Well, we gotta go, but nice meeting you."

I arrived at the apartment and returned the key, showing her what I retrieved, "I'm ready to hit the trails." After a pause, "Did you know there's a neighborhood Facebook group? Apparently I'm a hot topic,"

I gathered my homework to grade. Stacy smiled, "I'll check out that group. You two have a great evening." Brent and I smiled waving as we stepped out the door. Walking out to the car, a guy on a balcony shouted, "Hi Janice!" I turned and waved as he was obviously taking a video.

Pulling out onto the boulevard, I stopped two blocks down at my favorite gas station, convenience store. Brent was about to get out. I patted his hand, "I gotta do this myself." I got out and walked around the back of my car to the pump. People did notice me. One guy took pics with his phone. A car pulled up to the pumps behind my set. A guy got out of his car and whistled, "Hey gorgeous. You made my day. I put the handle back on the pump, gas cap on, gas flap shut, I grabbed my receipt. Getting back in my car, "Done. And that wasn't bad at all. Conquered getting gas naked. One day, shopping."

Brent smiled, "Grocery shopping?"

I nodded, "Even if you pick up a big order, always end up having to run out for something."

I drove us back to his place. Reaching Skyline Boulevard, I pointed at a very busy small older restaurant with lots of outdoor seating, "That place sure is popular."

Brent laughed, "That's where we're having dinner. It's quicker to walk."

I turned onto his little road, "They're going to let me eat there?"

He nodded, "That's where I walked this morning to talk with them ahead of time. No problem."

Once in the cabin, Brent got undressed. I took my homework out to the porch dining table. He came out with science homework to grade and a couple waters. We worked side by side at the table. I hooked up to his wifi, and logged the grades through the school portal. Brent was doing the same. He asked, "Have you seen, student voting for the 'Teacher of the Year' for the school system. Guess who's in the lead?"

Unlike other schools, most every student in our high school was voting for me, bringing my count to more than the student body of most schools that vote for many different teachers. Brent asked, "Ms. Mathematician, what are the odds of another teacher passing your vote count?"

Done logging in our student's homework grades, we packed up our work. Brent went to get dressed. I hit the bathroom and put my sneakers on. Out the front door, he pointed out the trail through the redwoods to the restaurant. As we walked, he told me about his grandfather making the trail. He could drink and not drive. He ate at the restaurant a lot and Brent went with him during the summers, "They know me well."

We arrived from the woods to the parking lot near the outdoor seating. A waitress yelled at us, "Hey Brent! Got your table over here!"

He answered, "Knew his grandfather, knew Brent for years. It's nice to see him here with someone, You'll love living up here." I looked to Brent's face for his expression. He didn't flinch. Instead his grin got bigger, looking my way.

She added, "We're neighbors through the woods, your northbound trail. C'mon over anytime. We know Brent runs around naked, has for years. I see you take it a little further?"

I nodded, "Yeah, I don't wear clothes at all, even at work."

Brent added, "Janice teaches at the same high school, and likely will be chosen 'Teacher of the Year' for the school system.

He smiled, "I can see you two are right for each other."

A guy talked me into posing for a selfie with him on his motorcycle. Brent took pictures too.

It was more than an hour before we even ordered dinner. We continued visiting until our food arrived. We finally took our seats and enjoyed dinner, and the heat radiating from the nearby patio heater. We had only a couple interruptions during dinner.

He smiled, "I was thinking more like I give you the list and I follow with the cart kinda pick up groceries. Enough for four or five nights?"

I smiled, "Grocery shopping it is."
